  3. Yorutamashi on February 14, 2021 at 9:43 pm

What i need to know is if there is an e-reader which has the google and amazon stores installed (or that I can install), I don’t want to have to plug in the reader to a computer to transfer books to it. I would like to just sign in with my accounts and download books directly

Mentioned all that crap but missed Onyx Boox, what a BS

  6. M Rey on February 14, 2021 at 9:49 pm

A Kindle paperwhite was given to my son as gift on Dec 31 2019. October 31, 2020 it died. Sucks. And since it was bought by relatives in the US and we are in Asia, theres nothing that we could do…even though the warranty should have been good at that time. It’s so slow and laggy. I cant even put pdfs in it because it would just freeze the device. I wish we got one of those BrandX made in China tablets instead. Because if those broke down, I wouldnt be surprised and it would have been value for the money

  7. Jose German Westphal Lopez on February 14, 2021 at 9:49 pm

Why doesn’t he have Onyx Boox in the comparison?

  8. FemaleObserver on February 14, 2021 at 9:50 pm

  11. Isaac Young on February 14, 2021 at 9:56 pm

  12. ScreamToASigh on February 14, 2021 at 9:56 pm

  13. Максим Данилушкин on February 14, 2021 at 9:57 pm

17 hours?? Gosh, my Pocket Book 740 pro runs for ages!!!!!

  14. ennuied on February 14, 2021 at 9:59 pm

If you got books on amazon kindle is a natural choice, but you can also have a 2nd device outside of amazon’s sphere of influence, kobos are great, but a 6 inch screen is so yesterday, give us 7 inches and so that it could fit in out pants pockets like aura h2o does.

  15. Loretta Bertoli on February 14, 2021 at 10:01 pm

I am a kobo afficionado I guess, I have just given my old kobo Aura first version to my father and bought myself a brand new Kobo Libra H2O… I love it! the screen is gorgeous, there’s no much difference between Amazon/kobo libraries but I can manage my books better and the light is fantastic for a night reader like me…the only downside is audiobooks but I’m not much into them. the chassis is not chunky (in my opinion) and I’ve bought a nice cover to protect it anyway so it doesn’t matter I guess…what matters is reading, there’s a way and a device for everyone I guess!

2:15 4GB of storage ? yeah, definitely not a manga reader, i have manga weighing in at 10GB (a single title), but what can you expect for $60.
I’m surprised most of these ereaders are as expensive (if not more) than normal tablets, specially seeing how simple and limited they are.

  17. sean John on February 14, 2021 at 10:02 pm

Is there any E-readers that will read out hard words that you cant read as in peoples names or place names?

  18. Bob Bob on February 14, 2021 at 10:02 pm

    Waterproof kindle 😀

  19. Hafuketo on February 14, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Nook GlowLight Plus runs a very old version of android (4.4), if you want a more modern (albeit not waterproof) one I suggest the Boox Poke 2

  20. Zuneira Hussain on February 14, 2021 at 10:07 pm

i’m a 14 year old grandma. Yet I’m so intrigued, i really want one.

  21. MMaya on February 14, 2021 at 10:08 pm

I love my paperwhite but paperwhite light is still to cold/blue at night. I regret not saving up more and investing in Oasis with warmer light, so much more comfortable on the eyes- or perhaps even Nook because everything android based is more open and supports more formats and options

  22. Chi on February 14, 2021 at 10:10 pm

    another incomplete list

  23. Tome Ala on February 14, 2021 at 10:12 pm

I’ll wait till the put colours

  24. VJ on February 14, 2021 at 10:12 pm

For me Amazon Bookstore is a con, because there are no books in my language. Amazon’s ecosystem is a main reason why I didn’t choose Kindle.

  25. MarkoRollo on February 14, 2021 at 10:13 pm

i use google play books app on my tablet, i like the animated page turn & that it has colour, wish they would do their own reader with those features

  28. tomcat on February 14, 2021 at 10:17 pm

This is an odd vid. Presenting only kindle and … some others and kindle.
Their are many others, that are free of amazon out there … android based and totaly cool with all type of formats.
is it a corrupt vid ?? SAD.

  29. gillian templeton on February 14, 2021 at 10:17 pm

kindles dont last, they have a problem with the charging port, better off buying a cheap tablet and downloading the kindle app.

the problem is: pdf books. Where to read them comfortably?

  32. Karla Fotescu on February 14, 2021 at 10:19 pm

I don’t understand why PocketBook is not on this list. They have plenty of models and they’re amazing devices. Why leave them out?

  33. K golden on February 14, 2021 at 10:20 pm

    Kindle is a battery burner.

  34. Haminger 2012 on February 14, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Saying kindle products are the best is very biased. I have new kindle paperwhite ( water proof) it skips the pages and works very sluggish and slow. The time for kindle has come to the end they’re are many much better e-readers like Boox available in the market.

  35. Syphix Edits on February 14, 2021 at 10:20 pm

I have a kindle paper white from 2012 and it still works great. It looks good, I have kindle unlimited, it just lacks lots of features and the battery is up to 6 hours or something since I’ve been using it for 8 years. I still don’t know if I should upgrade. I’m a fairly serious reader and I would like a lot of features and a paper screen. Idk if it’s worth the money though

  36. Maxwell Adekoje on February 14, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Please review these two fantastic books, "Just Eat the Worm" and "Higher is calling" by Maxwell Adekoje. Thanks!

  37. Lana Zak on February 14, 2021 at 10:21 pm

I don’t want to be married to Amazon, so I’m ordering a Kobo Libra H2O. I have an iPhone for audio books. I haven’t noticed a significant different in book prices. I feel so liberated.

Wow, the Libra H2O has E-ink technology? I’m sold

  45. Bruno Fritz on February 14, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Hey guys, I’m looking for a reader which allows me to read my scanned pdf’s, cause I need it for such specific books that I wouldnt find it in a database of amazon for kindles and such. What would you recommend me? My concern is both, being able to download the pdf from my computer to the ereader, and that the reader is able to read those pdf’s, showing the entire page in the original way in which it was scanned, only maybe, allowing me to zoom in in the case of the letters being to small. So far, I got the conclusion that my best option would be a tablet like the Amazon Fire HD. Anyone can give me a suggestion?

  46. T1Oracle on February 14, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Who goes scuba diving with a book? I don’t need water proofing.

  47. Víctor Vargas Ch. on February 14, 2021 at 10:38 pm

They all have one problem. These companies can’t get rid of the thick bezels.
