LG sold me a 55UH617V three years ago. The main board packed up and LG South Africa tells me that there are no parts available. I have been fighting with them since October, their solution, I buy another TV from them. LG sucks, not after sales service (it’s just shocking) and I really think that they have built in a 2-5 year obsolescence into their products. Steer well clear of this brand and if you do buy it, go with God my friend. I am just at a loss for words with this company.

I purchased a dumb blue flat screen TV , and like any other computer component devices would need a brain, after watching the blue screen for a few weeks I purchased a Nextbook 8 tablet with a mini HDMI cord unlimited access from games , Tvs services build your own library commercial free and without a scriptions based like the smart tvs or cable apps and high prices, you can full access to Google Store andata HBO , starz there too.

I was told Amazon is expensive and nobody in the UK would buy a TV from them? And here all tvs are from Amazon? I’m beginning to think Im right in saying UK is crazy expensive when it comes to tvs. Don’t know about now but a year ago when I looked at Amazon it seemed brits pay about 300 quid more for a 55" than we do on Denmark. And we make way more money ( my point in the post was brits seem to get screwed) so I felt something had changed from the 80’s when things was way cheaper in the UK. But idk.. If people use Amazon they’re definitely paying more than us. We have 3 chains to pick from that will sell you a 55" 4K tv for about 250 quid. I just saw a 65" TV for 320 quid. But I can’t find anything like that in the UK. So regardless of what people say, I would hate to have to fill a flat with electronics in England. Not on those wages..
Also, I only talk of brands like Philips. Sony and LG. So no budget tvs here..

Found the upgraded version of the LG UK6300 for just 50 dollars extra while doing my black friday hunting at Walmart and Best Buy. Rather go for the LG UM series (2019 models rather than UK which is 2018). I’m personally getting the LG 55UM7300 for about $350. (7 series comes with the magic remote unlike 6 series)
