Reviewing the best budget smartphones in the UK with a price under £200, which you can buy in the UK as we hit 2022. I’ve fully tested the Moto G31, Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, Realme 8 5G, Nokia G50 and other top affordable phones. My reviews start with Motorola mobiles, including the new Moto G31 with its OLED screen (a rare feature at this budget price). It’s one of the best for media fans, despite the limited performance. Alternatively the Moto G50, G9 Plus and Power are also great options.
The Nokia 5.4 and G50 are the best for stock Android fans who want the reassurance of future updates. Meanwhile Xiaomi has several smartphones in this round-up of the best budget blowers in 2022, including the Redmi Note 10S. One of my personal favourites with solid specs and dependable camera tech.
Oppo and Realme phones are also worth considering if you can’t afford more expensive handsets, with strong specs again at this price.

What are you talking about Moto not updating their Androids? The Moto G50 has been upgraded to Android 12 while the Nokia G50 is still at Android 11.

How can you not mention the iPhone 13 Pro Max? It’s the best phone with an incredibly immersive speaker system.
You need to add subtitle for the specs like alot of tech channels do Just a suggestion for the viewers all the other things are good of course you can add back lights and all but think about the subtitle for the specs cuz I didnt remember when you said and couldnt watch till the end

Thanks man I’m looking for an upgrade to my Sony Xperia 1 II that isn’t like a fucking ancient scroll like how long it is LOL. And for the rest of my life, I’m gonna just stay around mid range. Spending a grand every 2 years on a flagship (or more), is just stupid really. Considering I only read ebooks, use Aux port for the car, and then do things like read reddit, telegram groups and use satnav. I like the idea of having an SD card to keep my books on the card and just move it between phones. Honestly, we’re idiots to buy flagships when these phones can do all that anyway AND you can upgrade every year at this price with no problems if you have even a minimum wage job lol. These types of phones are a mans phone. It’s feminine to buy the latest iPhone every 2 years on contract. ALTHOUGH I am tempted by the S22 Ultra for the SD Pen LOL! But yeah I could even go upto £300 tbh. I do use wireless charging because I put my phone on my alarm clock (that i dont use as an alarm), on the wireless charger which sits next to my PC. So I’m tempted to pay more for wireless but what is the best cheapest wireless phone that has a headphone jack and micro SD port and AMOLED screen with 120hz refresh rate… my search continues.

The cheapest moto is much much better than the cheapest Nokia’s. Don’t be fooled by the Android one bs. Moto and Samsung makes the best ultra-budget phones
I am on my second Motorola. Two unique features that are very useful are the gestures to fire up the camera and the flashlight even when locked. So handy.

Which one would you say is best to get
I wanted to get my son a redmi note 10s for his birthday , he currently has a huawei p20 lite that he has battered. But i know its a good phone because I had one and I am love huawei (google issue aside) anyway…are any of the phones listed here better than the redmi 10s.. Bearing in mind anything bigger than 6.4 is probably pushing it.
Should we be grabbing the X3 Pro or the "gnat’s pube"? (asking for a friend)
