I don’t fully agree with your choices. First of all, this video lacks a lot of information. For instance, if you’re going to recommend a phone like the 7 (which will probably have one more update and that’s it) you should include its potential buyers (maybe a teen who’s about to receive their first phone or as someone’s second device). I would definitely NOT recommend, say, an iPhone SE 1st gen as a main device. You need to include its pros and cons of these.
Personally, and I’m not a tech expert, I wouldn’t recommend anything less than the iPhone 8. Yes, the others are cheaper but also will give more issues, battery swells, change of battery, no more updates past 2022… budget phones, yes, but I’d rather spend a bit more on something that will last me a bit longer …
My personal options?
As a second device or a teens 1st phone: 7
If you don’t care about bezels: 8 or SE 2020 (although being the same, the latter will give you more years of support)
If you care about screen and battery life: X, Xs
I loved the iPhone X. I purchased it new and upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I would definitely recommend the iPhone X !

Nah defiantly do not go with anything smaller then the iPhone SE 2. Imagine the battery in the original se. That battery will be shoot. Everything older then a year u have to probably consider a battery replacement as well then the cheap price might isn’t so cheap anymore afterwards. U can get iPhone XR used already for 150$ and the battery health in most of them is at least 85% plus.

From my testing the best budget devices in 2021 and moving forward are the iPhone 11,iPhone SE 2020,iPhone XS and iPhone 8/7 if budget is even tighter.

What I would buy is a used XR and have the battery replaced. You could probably do that all for less than $300.
I honestly don’t recommend anything older than the XR. The SE 1, 7+, 8+ and X are simply not up to today’s standards!
I think buying and Xr and up is probably your best bet. They’re guaranteed 3-4 years of software updates and use. You can still use for even longer though. If you’re gonna buy and SE, buy the 2020 SE.
