My 5mos old 7.1 is totally dead with the USB-c failure. Nokia does not have a global warranty and or a service for the phone that insures a fix…Moto One or back to Steve Jobs

Moto should have better batery life, it is better optimazed. And better sound quality. For the best photos instal Gcam on both phones.

Had the 6.1 plus which is virtually identical to the 7.1 apart from minor design differences and had some charging port issues. . Nokia no longer means Rock solid phones anymore and they are just as good or even worse than mainstream companies like huawei or Xiaomi.

I stick with motorola. The gestures and battery life thanks to the leas sharper screen (unnoticeable) to the naked eye, makes the difference and a much after choice

Nokia has hybrid sim slot while moto has dedicated. So Moto is better for dual sim people.

moto looks good but…720 vs 1080, nokia wins, but nokias charging port is trash, pick your poison

Help me please. I’m having a hard time deciding between the Moto G7 Power with that 5000amo batret, the Moto one white, rhe Nokia 7.1 and a stretch but lastly the Asua Zenfone Z5. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. At the moment or as of today I went with the Moto G7 Power because of the 6.2 inch screen and 5000amp battery. I for the first time ever am just totally torn between all four. I’m leaning towards the Moto one as the Zenfone Z5 is clearly the better of the 4 spec wide but also $499 dollars but yet that’s still a damn good price 6gs of RAM 845 snapdragon quad resolution. Please help mate!!! Always enjoy your content. Kashton

I will never go with Motorola again. My Z Play got the black screen of death. When I looked this up. Every Motorola mobile does this. So bought the Nokia 7.2

  29. hferit on May 22, 2022 at 10:09 pm

I’ve used the 7.1 for just under a year – cant believe the camera is being hyped. Worst camera on a phone since iphone 4s. Jumpy videos and blury photos. Horrific. Everything else was amazing tho. "photo studio in your pocket" my arse.

Having left my P20 Pro in an Uber (thankfully getting it back) but needing a phone over the next few days I traded in and old broken iPhone I had from a while ago and got the Nokia 7.1 for £100. I’m actually extremely surprised with the device and it’s making me realise how bloated the Huawei is and I may end up staying with my Nokia….

  34. KashtonTech Uncut on May 22, 2022 at 10:17 pm

I’m not much of a fan of the Moto G7 Power’s build as it’s not glass and not aluminum. It’s a plastic which I didn’t know until I got it home today. It’s also the cheapest but has better internals than the Moto one. Any advice????

  35. Eric on May 22, 2022 at 10:18 pm

the only moto phone i ever liked was the moto x4 what a great phone!!!!

I have nokia 7.1 and i must say it has a very crisp display plus it has HDR10+ capability, but the only downside of it is lack of IP rating. I once caught a water on the display that gets into the back of it and it got fixed with a hot air from a blower then after a month the display got sorted or something. It’s still usable, but i send it to the service center and if they didn’t fixed maybe I’ll buy a new one and I’m thinking of Motorola One Vision.

  39. Dan Southcomb on May 22, 2022 at 10:23 pm

I’ll take the Xiaomi mi a2 over both of these. Stock android snapdragon 660, 6gb ram 128gb storage. The camera is as good or better than the Nokia & Motorola.

  40. Nilupul Malinda Kulathunga on May 22, 2022 at 10:24 pm

I’m going to buy two Nokia 7.1 phones for my parents.
They’ve been using two crappy Nokia X2 phones for few years now. I made their X2 phones a bit better by rooting the phone and installing real Android on it, so my mom and dad can taste the fun of Android a bit.
When I first introduced them to Android they loved it a lot. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna really love the Nokia 7.1.

  41. SUNDAR K on May 22, 2022 at 10:24 pm

    Motorola best

    I think Moto one comfortable

  44. Sai on May 22, 2022 at 10:28 pm

    Nokia all the way.
Ever since lenovo acquisition, moto quality hasn’t been the same
Their new flip phone although, does look cool, I admit

  45. C C 9 on May 22, 2022 at 10:28 pm

Anyone else having the charging port issue on the 7.1? Bloody annoying, even more so that I am from New Zealand and there’s no Nokia service centre but only in Australia and I can’t even ship it to Australia as they don’t give the option to do so!

  46. Aditya Agrawal on May 22, 2022 at 10:29 pm

@techspurt Can you please do a Nokia 7.1 ve Moto G7 video?
    Thank you

  47. Thomas on May 22, 2022 at 10:31 pm

The Nokia 7.1 is now running Android 10.

  48. CoEdd on May 22, 2022 at 10:35 pm

Interesting, Nokia 7.1 has better specs but seems to be more luggish when launch an app, MOTO definitely does a better job in optimization, however, love the display of NOKIA ! NOKIA 8.1 is the dream phone but pity that it is not launched in the north america.
