In today’s video we reviewed the top 6 best amplifiers on the market in 2019. We made this list based on our personal opinion and we ranked them in no particular order after doing our research based on their price, sound quality, durability, brand reputation and more. Stereo amplifiers aren’t as simple as they used to be. The days of equipping them with just analogue inputs and outputs and a pair of speaker terminals are long gone. Many amplifiers now contain built-in digital-to-analogue converters, phono stages, USB connections and wireless streaming skills as standard. If you think there are other audio amplifiers which deserve to be in this list, please leave a comment down below! Thanks for watching and if this amplifier review was helpful to you, please remember to leave a like and subscribe to our channel to see more videos like this in the future, and if you have any questions related to the stereo amplifiers listed here, leave a comment down below and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

I don’t really appreciate the Cambridge Audio Amplifiers reviews and newspapers praise and praise the company but in reality I found that they were very disappointed if you already heard “rotes’ amplifiers and new line of Yamaha receivers sounds fantastic for the vinyl lovers with all the new features

  2. sanchezzz1 on December 1, 2020 at 7:44 pm

In this group the Yamaha AS-701 is the clear winner but i would suggest to spend the extra money for the AS-801 for the DAC.

The best of these 6 Amplifiers is integrated Yamaha A-S701BL, lately Yamaha has made good amplifiers

  6. Fendernirvana on December 1, 2020 at 7:48 pm

  9. Fat Rat on December 1, 2020 at 7:49 pm

"From the industry leader in high performance audio comes the A-S701 from Yamaha" hahahahahahahaha
    hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahaha…that’s hilarious!

  10. reflux1986 on December 1, 2020 at 7:50 pm

That picture of the 701 @ 2:02 is not correct. That’s their more advanced model with MOSFET instead of OP-amps.

  11. Garry Miller on December 1, 2020 at 7:51 pm

even a removable power cord! no less

Integrated amplifiers are by far the most economical way to get involved in home theater and contrary to what some supposed audiophiles might say, equipment that is good enough to compare to "high end audio" separates for music listening. I did some research earlier this year and found that Denon, Marantz, Onkyo, and Pioneer are now all owned by one company, Sound United. Although mergers and acquisitions like this can sometimes lead to even better products by taking the best of what each company does and spreading it to the others, often it leads to worse products by spreading the cheapest parts among the others. Yamaha, on the other hand, has by far the best reliability ratings and all Yamaha products are still made by Yamaha only. So I bought a Yamaha RX-A1080 (2 year old model) for $840. It has more than enough power to drive all but the most demanding speakers and has an incredible number of features. Because I have Magnepan 20.1s for my front speakers and the Yamaha was getting warm when I turned up the volume, I did end up buying a two channel Emotiva amp to drive the 4 ohm Maggies only. Can you spend a whole lot more on separates and get a little bit better sound and fewer features? Sure, but I like to brag about how much I got for how little I spent, not just how much I spent.

What frustrates me about stereo amplifiers in 2020, is that most still not come with a single hdmi-input.

  14. 蔡坤霖 on December 1, 2020 at 7:55 pm

    Jpn only?

  15. eJacob Cornelius on December 1, 2020 at 7:57 pm

That’s not even the best Yamaha amp, never mind one of the best six amplifiers of 2019!

  16. Ed Tan on December 1, 2020 at 7:58 pm

as long as we are setting the budget range really wide, do not forget accuphase :p

  17. Paul Walker on December 1, 2020 at 7:59 pm

Too much "arty-farty" time wasted. I just want to see proper static shots of all the appropriate ‘parts.’ This review could easily have been done in half the time !

  18. Nicolae Dobresan on December 1, 2020 at 7:59 pm

Hi, we think we have chance to work together. Our capacitor can make your amplifier work well.

  21. ENOCH WAS RIGHT on December 1, 2020 at 8:02 pm

    Yamaha =
    looks cheap !
    Pure direct =
Posh name for Tone defeat – Not a patch on the AX range from 20 years ago .

    Cambridge Audio =
DAC " Not an actual Amplifier as you can’t connect speakers directly to it ‘ post headphone amplifier .
No better sound quality than a £100 muse DAC "
Bluetooth is crap it used RF frequency and prone to wondering sound loss .

  26. OCD HI-Fi Guy on December 1, 2020 at 8:08 pm

Just so everyone knows, these are considered "main stream" mass market products. They are great for 90% of people that use music in the background while doing other things. There is a whole other sector of the marketplace called "High End Audio" the products here start at prices similar to mainstream and hit the moon. At this moment in history the High End is trending down in cost for some of the most exciting products weve seen in years. So while "gold plated" may sound audiophile, its not whatsoever. In fact it is lossy. Take a second to look around and find the true HiFi gear if you are a big music lover and appreciate realism during playback. ! I feel everyone should be equally educated about audio gear. So I do my part !
    Cheers !

What is the best amplifiers for music ?

  28. Michael Hastie on December 1, 2020 at 8:11 pm

Thanks for your efforts / trying to wade through the offerings available to the music lover. I have some experience with Yamaha "receivers" CR 620 – 640 in the early 80’s, NS-500 Beryllium Tweeter – Rock Monitor and NS-640 – Three way sealed acoustic suspension speaker systems, utilizing the NS 1000 woofer with 5-6 lb Magnet structure. I wish I had kept those beauties.
Back to the Yamaha Integrated Stereo Amp. The variable Loudness Control, is not new. It was included in the CR receivers in the late 70’s….

  29. freeofbug on December 1, 2020 at 8:11 pm

Put a lot of money in loud speaker, that’s all.

  30. BadFrad AZZ on December 1, 2020 at 8:11 pm

Realize that Yamaha is closed. NO product support. None. No phone. NO emails. No chat.

  31. Jingle Nuts on December 1, 2020 at 8:15 pm

Still my favorites Luxman and Yamaha amps.

  32. Dilithium Crystals on December 1, 2020 at 8:15 pm

I went to the toilet while leaving my screen full size on my PC at 3:31 seconds. I heard my dad who does not understand English shout "What are you watching JUNAID and plugs out my PC Plug from OUTLET?" Is there something wrong with pausing at 3.31? (Just wondering)

  42. eugene julson on December 1, 2020 at 8:35 pm

When looking for horse power I have one basic question.
    How much does it weigh?
    17 to 25 lbs= crap
    30 lbs = ok
    50 lbs = excellent.
This rule has worked for me for 30 years.

  43. sound play system on December 1, 2020 at 8:35 pm

  45. Laton Buzzard on December 1, 2020 at 8:36 pm

Around 10 years ago I blew my Technics amplifier on a wild party night. I decided to invest in a new power unit with a budget of £500.
I discovered bi wired systems soon after and after listening to a few set ups I spent around £6000 on Rotel pre, and power amps and also Bowers and Wilkins speakers to complete the set up. Selecting an amplifier is purely down to the budget, and configuration. My system is very powerful and the clarity is very good for my outlay. I have also listened to systems in the region of £25000 – 100k, and yes they are fantastic. It’s an old saying, you pay for what you get. When you see a mono block amplifier that retails for £30,000 you can expect something special, and special it surly is. You wont believe how an ordinary Cd sounds on a system of this calibre. Seek out a hi-fi show and discover this level for yourself. Take care with the credit card though.
