It would help if these manufacturers didn’t change models every year! Sony is hard to find so this isn’t really helpful and recycling 2019 models makes for a chore. And Alexa? Manufacturers need to make two versions. One with and one without Alexa. Who the hell wants an ear for the internet in their homes? Insanity. I’d NEVER buy anything with an ear.

Hi, the 43" X800H is edge lit. I just bought it online, although it hasn’t been delivered yet. I currently have an LG 42" CCFL backlit TV. Would I see a degradation in picture quality going from this CCFL backlit TV to this 43" SONY edge lit LED?

Good selection, but most of these are 2019 or even 2018 models…most are unavailable now. The LG UM7300 is now the UN7300. The Samsung RU is a TU (2 model years newer). This should be best TVs of 2019.

But are any of them true 120hz and not CMI or backlight strobing? Why is it you can find 120hz in 65+" sizes and not in smaller formats?
Don’t get a LG I got a 43 inch 4k and it burned out 3 months later and I got a new LG to replace it and a few weeks later the HDMI ports quit working.
Sometimes they need to check the links…most of the TVs on this list are priced too high…or you can’t get them anymore!
I would say that the Insigna TV is the best value TV you can buy. TCL is overrated. I have owned a few TCL TV’s recently and know they are overhyped.
I want a regular TV that has the original feature we all now of or more specificly having tv channels with some smart features not one or the other

I have a 32 inch want to upgrade tv blu-ray and DVD player with it.
A really informative review as far as you went but I don’t understand why you pretty much ignore audio quality, which you only briefly mentioned with one TV. Audio quality can vary greatly between models, some with almost buzzy speakers, making it difficult to understand dialog or enjoy music. Having to add external speakers or a soundbar can wipe out the savings gained from a budget TV.
the dimming or lack there of on the sony makes movies look dull I’m surprised you rated it at #1
Sometimes expensive isn’t always best. Those oled panels on premium models can suffer with dead pixels and screen burn but a good old va panel and no frills tech can still give a reliable and great picture without breaking the bank. I just bought a 65 inch ru7470 for £580 with a discount code and that for me was a bargain. Superb 4k tv.
