I’m sorry, you lost me on no AM radio. Although, I could see how all that gizmos and gadgets and their would wreak havoc on am reception anyway. Then again with all those gizmos and gadgets $17 isn’t bad at all.

HA! Thanks Youtube! Recently got my garage set up but needed some simple & cheap sound. Looked at a few options, and found this – Perfect, Thanks!

  3. E C on October 12, 2020 at 3:44 pm

Meh, I’ll just keep using my bluetooth speakers and my phone in the garage.

  4. gary lewis on October 12, 2020 at 3:44 pm

I used a car radio I got from a swap meet . For power I had an old 12 volt computer charger laying around and a used car antenna . I had to buy a antenna extension . All up it cost $16 .including a couple of used speakers , it pays CDs as well . A few of my friend have done the same. Give it a try.

  5. Crypto G on October 12, 2020 at 3:45 pm

Mine came damaged and seemed used. You get what you pay for but sounds good

  6. John Dias on October 12, 2020 at 3:45 pm

Anyone remember Heathkit? My uncle built a Heathkit am/fm/short wave reciever back in the 60s. I have it now and it still kicks it. Paired it up with some giant vintage Klipsch speakers and BOOM…I’m out in the country and the neighbors still call me and complain!

  7. Mike D on October 12, 2020 at 3:46 pm

If only it had bluetooth and was 100w rms per chanel … is there a model with more wattage?????

  8. Hector Raigosa on October 12, 2020 at 3:46 pm

After finding your video, I looked into and ended up buying 1. But I got the blue one HY-502 as its the same except volume, treb and bass buttons are together and has 3.5 input.. also costs 14 bucks include e-pack shipping.. for 14 bucks well worth it for garage, for the price don’t care void of blue tooth.. I listen to an old Zune ipod.. this is better.. very please with price for what I’ll it for..

    I thought these were re-chargeable?

  11. Insignia Fishing on October 12, 2020 at 3:50 pm

Does it allow you to hook up a connection from the TV to as a receiver and play the tv audio through the speakers. Looks for something compact for enclosed outdoor bar?

  12. James Lucas on October 12, 2020 at 3:50 pm

Man!!!Are you serious???? That amp and speakers are over the top! It has everything. Bass, treble, volume adjust!!!
    Holy sh**!!!
    2 Channels too‼️‼️
This blows away my McIntosch. The speakers alone must have cost a dollar‼️
    Someday…… dream on til then…
Meantime I’m heading to my electronic disco room.

  13. Michael Fraraccio on October 12, 2020 at 3:50 pm

Does anyone know if you plug in your phone via USB will it control my phone to skip tracks

  14. Steven Rogers on October 12, 2020 at 3:51 pm

I have a AC adapter that’s used to recharge my spotlight.

The input is 120 VAC, 60 hertz, 12w and the output is 12vdc, 750mA. it is Model Ht73005a. has the same polarity as the one shown in the video.

does anybody know if this will work as a power supply for this radio.

  15. Jeff Hunter on October 12, 2020 at 3:51 pm

You must get paid for reviews

  16. Redfish Incorporated on October 12, 2020 at 3:51 pm

Wal-Mart has several mechless bluetooth car stereos right in this same price range. Basically all of the same functions plus Bluetooth. You do have to add an antenna of some sort but a sort length of wire works well in an urban environment.

  17. Shelby Seelbach on October 12, 2020 at 3:51 pm

17 dollars? So what? No power cord, or supply, no speakers. Can get a radio at the dollar store that has a power, cord speakers, cd player for about twenty bucks. This is crap.

  18. bobknight33 on October 12, 2020 at 3:54 pm

Would make a good line out audio for LED TV

  19. Patrick Emry on October 12, 2020 at 3:54 pm

First thing id try is a bluetooth usb adaptor

  20. Beast Mode on October 12, 2020 at 3:57 pm

This would be perfect it had built in Bluetooth for a garage sound system while working

  21. MobilePros Nevada on October 12, 2020 at 3:58 pm

2amps of input power from the adapter… that means approx 24 watts max power output….

  22. Knighthawk's Mowers on October 12, 2020 at 4:00 pm

I got the Bluetooth version, it’s very nice for what you get and the price, but biggest advice I can give on it, is to get speakers for it rated between 5 and 40 watts, 8ohms, and a good power supply….. I got mine here on Amazon and if you scroll down it gives you the correct power supply, this is the blue tooth version. 27. Garrett Milks on October 12, 2020 at 4:05 pm

Anyone connected to it with a rasberry pi?

  28. Gerald Scott on October 12, 2020 at 4:10 pm

I built a great home stereo out of old ’80s car stereo parts for under $100. It has over 1000 watts total, and two 10" subwoofers. Back in the ’80s I used to design and install car stereo systems. Those were the days of super high power systems. I was able to round up all the parts dirt cheap or free in about 6 months. Biggest problem is I have to keep it turned down so the neighbors don’t complain. Even then the bass shakes the whole house (actually man cave. I share it with several motorcycles and a cat. I’m divorced and my kids are grown)

  29. Matthew Johnson on October 12, 2020 at 4:11 pm

Anyone know if you can flip the front face over so you can under cabinet mount it?

  30. kawtriples on October 12, 2020 at 4:13 pm

I got one of these after viewing this review. It is awesome!! I hooked up a couple of old speakers that were on a boom box that I never use. Even with these cheapo speakers it sounds great. I’m going to hook it up to my Bose speakers to see what it sounds like with them. Only thing I noticed on mine was clicking the EQ button didn’t seem to do anything. When I watched your review again I noticed that you seemed to press it a bit hard so I will try that. Even if the EQ doesn’t work on mine, I am more than happy with the performance of this unit. I plan on buying more of them to give as gifts. Thanks for introducing me to this super cool amp!!

  36. Jayden Butler on October 12, 2020 at 4:20 pm

I would rather go to Wal-Mart buy a really cheap stereo with 2 speakers, and it also has aux,CD and fm am radios

  37. the all-new classic metal Steve! on October 12, 2020 at 4:21 pm

Hmmm no seek buttons I didn’t see that originally. Nope, not for $7.

  43. Outdoors_ Manitoba on October 12, 2020 at 4:24 pm
