Be Aware !!!!!!! iPhone SE 2020 Screen Protector
I wanted a screen protector to stop scratches on the glass.
Tempered glass screen protectors for the iPhone 8 don’t fit this phone, and so far I cannot find one to fit.
Let me know in the comments if you have one that fits.

Is the problem only a cosmetic one? I mean presumably it could still keep your screen from cracking unless you dropped it on that mm edge that had no protection, correct?
This happens on the normal ip8 not just the SE its all down to the quality of the glass protector, we fit the same protector to the 8 and se with no problems but we did change suppliers for the protectors.
Ive had the same problem! Ive never had this problem before. My last phone I installed perfect, so I’ve gotten good at it. 3rd screen protector try on SE and still same issue. My wife has an 8 and it worked fine with the same one in a 3 pack.
I bought the LK version and it fitted well but the protectors cracked after 3 months and I’ve used up all 3 that comes in box, maybe it’s due to the cleaning I do each day to rid fingermarks although I don’t press hard
Go for Spigen, they’re a bit expensive but at least offer a clean look and good protection

This is true that this phone’s display is curved. You should get the flexible screen protectors it’s available in Amazon India and I have ordered two of them. They will fit completely edge to edge due to flexibility and adhesive. 😀

I had the same problem and I ended up just getting the wallet/folio style case and doing without.
From the current iphone line it’s the cheapest one to date. Most likely apple maximized cheap components

I just bought an iPhone SE and an iPhone 8 screen protector. I faced the same problem until I found your video. The screen protector costs 45 USD and I should’ve discovered this before……
There’s one at Walmart in a orange metal package. It’s the one I use and I’ve never had this problem
I’ve had exactly the same problem. I brought the OLIXAR iPhone8/SE2 Tempered Glass Protector. It went on perfectly, but the edges have lifted and it now looks rubbish. To be fair OLIXAR did give me a refund but like you I’m stuck without a protector. Annoying.
Nope. I had the same issue on my old iPhone 7. It’s nothing new.

The third came with my Maus case which my brother has( also iPhone se 2020 and his screen protector and Maus case fits perfectly) HOWEVER the screen protector that came with my Maus case is the exact same shit one I have now and will write to complain to them! Also I will get back to you once my brother tells me wtf he used once he is speaking to me again… currently he’s just said I don’t know… wtf is this even as issue
I wasted my money on 3 protectors before realising that the phone’s screen was a problem and not the protector.
One from Bodyguardz Prtx I think. Its edge to edge and beautiful.

I don’t mind the edge on the protector you’re showing. Have you tried the Skinomi Techskin for this phone?

Glad I’m not the only one who went through this. I’ve been putting screen protectors all these years and I’m pretty great at it so I found it weird when the edges weren’t sticking.

My third attempt of installing screen protector worked. I bought this Invisible Shield Hybrid Glass in Walmart for $5 (was $19) and it fits perfectly, no bubbles on the edges. Trial & error 😂 it was very frustrating at first but glad I’ve found this product
They are some plastic screen protectors that fit properly. The ones that bring problems are those glass ones.
If anyone is still looking for an iPhone SE 2020 screen protector, I just installed mine and it fits perfectly. It’s from Power Theory, and it’s designed specifically for the SE 2020 and NOT the 7 or 8. Super easy installation and almost impossible to screw it up. It’s not the cheapest one out there ($12.95 on Amazon) but the design takes care of the problem shown here.
Best Buy’s Insignia brand fits perfectly. They come in a two-pack, and include a tray that helps install the screen protector. Worth every penny.

The screen protector I just bought that is suppose to fit my brand new iPhone SE 2020 doesn’t even have the home screen button cut out.
Since this phone supposedly fits the iPhone 8 cases, will a screen protector for an iPhone 8 work?

Bodyguardz PRTX for SE2020 is made to combat this halo issue. I have it on mine and its fine. Plus it have black edge to edge protection so you almost don’t notice it on.
I have the InvisiableShield Glass+ 360 screen protector on my iPhone SE 2. I don’t have any halo effect with that screen protector on my phone. You will get bubbles on the edges when you finish installing it, but you just have to keep pushing out the bubbles and they will go away. Only down side with this screen protector is that it’s not case friendly. Only certain cases will work great with this screen protector. Other cases will pill off the screen protector. All I know is Apple case work good, and rhinoshield cases work good. I hope this helps you out. 👍🏽

The aesthetic of the edge is ok, however I got my phone and the official protector and unfortunately dropped the phone within 1 week and cracked the screen just next to the protector. Absolutely useless.
Apple made iPhone so just go to apple store.
