    NEIGHBOUR PACEMAKER
yes that’s what I called it! after trying several subwoofers out where I could play it at a satisfactory sound and it wouldn’t annoy my lovely neighbours!
People underestimate the difference between a mediocre sub and a high-performance sub, ever since I purchased a high performance subwoofer I don’t get any complaints anymore
If you enjoy your music just as much as movies but worry about your neighbours may I suggest looking into the RELL Ti series
With the REL Ti series, the driver’s move so fast that rel recommends as well as the low-level input, you also so connect the high level input, which entails connecting a extra cable from the subwoofer to the stereo speaker binding posts! OMG I didn’t know music could sound this good especially coming through budget stereo speakers, the upgraded Sonic performance in the room is really astonishing and the best part about it, is even after asking my neighbours for feedback they say they can’t even hear it! Lol

Height dominance setup for the fronts, smart man.

  4. richard abney on December 7, 2020 at 8:21 pm

Did I miss what projector? Sorry.

Also, did you get a chance to hear the UniFis?

  6. 120506torque on December 7, 2020 at 8:24 pm

That’s a awesome setup but I bet he cant use it at it’s full potential

  7. ColonielLizardT4 on December 7, 2020 at 8:25 pm

I also have Atmos/DTS:X setup in my apartment but in basic 5.1.2 form. Found the front heights to be more immersive than surround backs.

Thinking that my next upgrade might be to the unify line. I currently have the original debut line and I do like them but I feel like they i’m missing something.

  10. FredsTemple on December 7, 2020 at 8:28 pm

I have been wanting to do the same for front height elac atmos speakers. i was worried that drilling into them and mounting them would make them sound too bassy like a speaker directly on the floor because the vibration transfer. is this not an issue?
also, i have a wife that hates the idea but now i could show her your setup as a reference. crossing my fingers. love your setup man. SNES, Gamecube, and the N64 too, nice. Star Wars Rogue Squadron series for gamecube must sound amazing in your apparment. anyway, much love.

For those of you who live an apartment, you can get an external 5 or 7 channel amplifier to come a little closer to a subwoofer. I wish I had known this prior to buying a subwoofer for my bedroom. I ended up having to unplug the subwoofer cause it requires too much D.I.Y. house repairs to stop the rattling in the room (old home with ceiling tiles and faux wood panels walls).

  12. Royce Johnson on December 7, 2020 at 8:29 pm

Respect to that dude. Nice setup. Man I’m a little far! I live in upstairs apt. But I’m running a full 7.1.4 Atmos system powered by Denon x4400H. PB2000 svs sub with sound path feet. Pioneer towers, center, and surrounds. TF and TR overheads are Polk. Leather recliner sofa wraparound. Just because we live in apartment doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice sound! All without disturbing the neighbors 😎🤘🏾

Holy crap this guy is an enthusiast. Beautifully done, better than most homes and its only in an apartment. His bedroom is badass as well.

  14. Trey Porter on December 7, 2020 at 8:32 pm

    Great set up 👍

  15. Chaika Gaz on December 7, 2020 at 8:35 pm

Nice setup for cramp space. Should find ways to put noise cancellation on walls to crank up the sounds. Like egg cartons lol

  16. Hi-Fi Haven on December 7, 2020 at 8:35 pm

Another awesome theater! Awesome gear, and setup. Nice big screen! Great work putting that theater together.

  17. Raider Fan on December 7, 2020 at 8:40 pm

Dude, you need to get some blackout drapes. I also live in a small apartment, with a 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos speaker setup. My system has four Pioneer tower speakers, with Pioneer Atmos up firing modules sitting on top of them. There’s a matching Pioneer center channel speaker and I have four PSA XS15Sse subwoofers. Each sub has identical 15" drivers.

  18. Darin Buss on December 7, 2020 at 8:42 pm

    Nice theater room

  19. vegetarian beast on December 7, 2020 at 8:46 pm

Home theater dude would you be willing to come to cypress, TX the Suburbs of Houston, TX. If I were to tell you small room missing wall and door, 3 windows. The last thing on anyone’s mind is theater room. But I put together sush a nice set up that I don’t go to the movies anymore. What makes my home theater so great it cost less than 1800 dollars.

  20. Raymond Leggs on December 7, 2020 at 8:46 pm

I have subwoofer in apartment. sometimes i am afraid of the neighbors hearing it lol

  21. Phillip Mulligan on December 7, 2020 at 8:47 pm

I’m too scared to run my home theater past 40% power out of fear of having noise complaints and that’s without the subwoofer.

  22. Nalin Dias on December 7, 2020 at 8:48 pm

wow, fantastic job well done !!
I have a question for you sir, how do you determine the distance between the seating position vs ATMOS speaker placement. example – how far from your ears/head the back and the front ATMOS speakers should be placed..? can you place the back ATMOS right above or front of your seating position ? or the back ATMOS speakers should be placed behind the seating position? please explain the distance calculation or a placement plan that you could share..? thanks very much.

What a excellent well Thought Out set up, especially considering what you’ve got to work with, absolutely love the captain’s chair WOW you’ve brought some great ideas to my head so thank you for posting, if there is one point where I said you could have improved would have been Black out curtains or Blinds (preferably remote control or smart ones) but all in all you should feel proud for what you’ve managed to achieve!
    FABULOUS JOB!
If you click on the red dragon twice you shall see how I managed to get my OLED to have the FLOATING EFFECT!

  27. BABU DA FRIIK on December 7, 2020 at 8:56 pm

how do them Elac atmos work for you?

  28. Painter Dood on December 7, 2020 at 8:56 pm

Your apartment building must be really well built and insulated to get away with that setup. Even without the subs.

  29. trupaktarmac on December 7, 2020 at 8:56 pm

that’s a powerfull amp you got there..must tempted to turn that thing up ….

  30. Phillip Mulligan on December 7, 2020 at 8:58 pm

I am a big fan of high end headphones for apartments and good wireless headphones are starting to become available. Love your high quality sound and love your neighbors.

Is ur computer able to project hdr 4k with atmos on windows 10?
    I’m having issues.

  36. tkcdac on December 7, 2020 at 9:07 pm

This setup uses your space perfectly. That computer swing arm is genius. Love that it fits many seats. Even a projection in the bedroom, that is dedication!
With that pitched ceiling and the popcorn, those speakers make perfect sense.

  37. styner3 on December 7, 2020 at 9:07 pm

I’m glad you’re showing these guys that swear their OLED TV is as good as a projector but not even close. That thumb nail says it all. A projector in the bedroom, the wife and I need to talk 😏

  38. DepressingFrequencies on December 7, 2020 at 9:11 pm

Wow that is pretty sick. In an apartment? Very impressive. You should check mine out whenever you’re able… Even though it’s only a 2.1.

  39. michael douglas on December 7, 2020 at 9:13 pm

You definitely need to get a larger space
