I own ROKU and fire tv stick. Apple has more games than both. Apple has more apps than fire tv stick, but I don’t believe it has all the apps ROKU has. Now, most popular apps exists in all 3 devices.

Amazon Records you 24/7 and either sells that data or just straight up gets hacked. They have shit cyber security and that’s why it’s so cheap because they want you to trade your privacy for a discount.

    Don’t I need 4K tv to stream 4K Apple TV? I have a 1080p tv so I’m confused how 4K would would work without a 4K tv

I have a new Samsung smart tv with appleTV on it. On my old (no smart)tv i had to use an appleTV box. And that box had different apps installed, inclusief a nhl app. If i take apple+ on my smart tv do i have the nhl app as well? Or do i need the appletv box.

I purchased one of these two weeks ago. And I hate this thing. I’m trying to do airplay with videos on safari and it does not work. Mirroring works fine but as soon as I go into full screen it stop working. It’s a waste of money.

I’m excited to buy my first ever Apple TV coming out sometime this week depending on if they announce another one on October 13 of 2020

  7. Ryan p on October 17, 2020 at 7:21 pm

  8. king eli on October 17, 2020 at 7:21 pm

is everything you watch on the apple 4ktv in 4k?

  9. Diego Gallardo on October 17, 2020 at 7:21 pm

Can U watch live tv channels on this 4k

  10. Aplex Technologies 2019 on October 17, 2020 at 7:22 pm

Most smart TVs come with the Apple Tv app installed. This is kinda pointless

  11. LaVerite124 on October 17, 2020 at 7:24 pm

Apple TV+ is on Amazon Firestick 4K as well. So you really don’t need the Apple TV 4K unless you like Dolby Vision/HDR.

Apple TV is the only one that has Dolby vision, although the new Roku Ultra will have it too.

4:48 something u wanna talk about? xd

  15. Martin Spedding on October 17, 2020 at 7:33 pm

There is no reason to buy an Apple TV in 2020. Go with Roku or Amazon. It has a poor remote, does not support you tube in 4k. As always with Apple other manufacturers always have better products

  16. TOM JW on October 17, 2020 at 7:35 pm

Everyone seems to moan about the price. No one complains about how smooth and simple everything seems to work all the time yes all the time. Plus there bullet proof and stand the test of time.

  17. Benjamin Jungbluth on October 17, 2020 at 7:35 pm

I have an Full HD TV and bought a non 4K Apple TV. It’s a 3D TV from 2014 and I don’t plan on buying a new TV soon

  18. Munro McLaren on October 17, 2020 at 7:36 pm

I just bought an Apple TV on a whim. I already ordered an Amazon Fire Stick. I’ll use both. One at college and one at home.

  19. Sonja Ek on October 17, 2020 at 7:39 pm

Thank you, this was helpful! Didn’t even think of the seamless Airpods experience, that alone is huge for me. Definitely gonna wait for the new model to be released, though 😀

  20. Sagemodemimi on October 17, 2020 at 7:40 pm

I have a tv with a built in roku. It’s the best. I have no problems. Actually sold my Apple tv, didn’t see anything special. Even the Samsung smart tv performs way better.

  21. Tyler Peterson on October 17, 2020 at 7:40 pm

I have a Vizio and Firestick combo. Best of both worlds since Vizio has airplay 2 and HomeKit support so you can still use the apple remote, airplay and other apple feature while still having Alexa and amazon features!

  22. jiggz22 on October 17, 2020 at 7:40 pm

    I personally love See.

  23. EROCTHEEDITOR on October 17, 2020 at 7:40 pm

HBOmax isn’t on Roku or Amazon

  26. Winny Young on October 17, 2020 at 7:44 pm

    Hi, love you review videos.
Question: some of streaming apps do not allow mirror screen/chrome cast function. Would Apple tv app be the solution? WEVERSE app does not allow mirror function for paid videos, I am just wondering if Apple tv would “mirror” what I can do on my iphone…Thanks

  27. Katerina Kiriakakis on October 17, 2020 at 7:46 pm

Maybe I just dont understand, but if you buy apple TV do you still need a subscription to netflix, disney plus, prime video etc? Seems kinda dumb of them to let people pay for the device once and allow them access to all of these tv subscriptions.

  28. Ferry Gunadi on October 17, 2020 at 7:48 pm

I never feel storage-constrained on 32Gb instead of paying more for 64Gb. We stream everything and it’s not like ATV could actually store a full movie in it. Just a small cache and honestly even 16Gb is enough for it.

  29. Naijik on October 17, 2020 at 7:49 pm

    What tv do u have?

  30. Bjarne Nilsson on October 17, 2020 at 7:50 pm

When you say hdr10 and dolby vision in the same centence you make it sound like these to ar the same thing, and whilebyou are largly coreect there is one major difference, hdr 10 has static. Etadata ( as in darkest/lightest reoesenttion set et start of program,) while dolbu vision and HDR10+ hasdunsmic metadata, so for msterial that changes from very bright cenes to very datårk ones Hdr10 (without the + ) will have a dissadvantage , so be shore to point thst out,. Otherwise very nice video

  31. Rusty Nails on October 17, 2020 at 7:51 pm

Can you add your own movie s ? Like a iPad. Covert files and add them

  32. ȚIGANU on October 17, 2020 at 7:52 pm

You forgot Mi Box S from Xiaomi , it has a ChromeCast ultra build in , is 4 K and it has original Google Android TV OS .

  33. So Dvs on October 17, 2020 at 7:52 pm

I read somewhere that they come with some year subscription is this true? If so that would be another perk worth considering. Your basically paying for a full year in advance with this.

  34. Joseph on October 17, 2020 at 7:52 pm

Those fingerprints… no, stop. Clean them off, please. 😂

  35. Mr. Hemad on October 17, 2020 at 7:52 pm

Just buy a Mi Box S. 4k and only 60$

  36. Caitlyn Jones on October 17, 2020 at 7:57 pm

I have a question what kind tv do you have to connect the Apple TV 4K

  37. hisandherssportscards on October 17, 2020 at 7:57 pm

Been thinking and going back and forth on which apple TV to get. Think i’m going with the 4gen 4k. Hopefully they announce a new one today at the event so this one can go down in price. I have fire sticks at home. And being a Iphone user would be pretty cool to be able to use more features with a streaming device. Like how you can easily connect your Air pods or Beats.

  38. Mysticlover Fairy on October 17, 2020 at 7:58 pm

I need to get this to get HBO max I have a fire tv but it’s not available on Fire tv .

  41. BLK PRINCESSA on October 17, 2020 at 8:02 pm

    AWESOME ,THKS

  42. Gino Mendez on October 17, 2020 at 8:05 pm

Short answer: if you own a 4k TV or plan on getting one, get the 4k version. If you have a 720p or 1080p TV get the HD model

  43. CFYNXCI on October 17, 2020 at 8:06 pm

Apple TV 4K is the best SVS device on the market because of its processor. It simply performs the best.

  44. Bob SCTX on October 17, 2020 at 8:09 pm

Great review, however you have left out, like so many reviewer’s, the capability of the Apple TV to sync to your photos in your iPhone or on your Mac and to display these photos on your 4K TV. That is the reason I got an Apple TV many years ago in the first place. For example, every time I leave home and take photos with my iPhone and return home, my Apple TV is updated with these new photos in the “PHOTOS” app on the Apple TV.

  45. Hyper Reactz on October 17, 2020 at 8:10 pm

Totally not buying this just to stream anime off my phone

  46. Queen-Monet Simone on October 17, 2020 at 8:11 pm

Just trying to figure out if I need internet to connect? I rather download the Netflix movies I like on my phone and mirror them at home with no WiFi or lte needed.. just trynna save some money so I don’t have to pay for WiFi

  47. David Maine on October 17, 2020 at 8:13 pm

Just bought mine online and set it up yesterday. I like it so far. Also set up Hulu + Live TV.

  48. Rusty Nails on October 17, 2020 at 8:14 pm

What’s the point for the bigger gigs ? Is that just for the. App ?
