  2. EFAZ ISLAM on June 18, 2022 at 11:26 pm

Can I have a lightning charger?

  3. Nick Alvizo on June 18, 2022 at 11:27 pm

Currently using the 8 Plus & it’s blazing fast. But I’m gonna upgrade to the 14 Pro Max this fall cause this phone is starting to get old & I’ve had it since 2019

  4. Barby on June 18, 2022 at 11:27 pm

    ? Should I BUY a 6S Plus ?

  5. • 3 years ago on June 18, 2022 at 11:27 pm

I’m going to upgrade from an iPhone XR to a 12 Pro

  6. Matty Braps on June 18, 2022 at 11:27 pm

I predict that in this video, you’re not going to recommend the 6S, SE 1 or the 7 as they won’t be getting iOS 16

  7. dogbear on June 18, 2022 at 11:28 pm

i have a 12 pro and cannot see myself upgrading ever

  8. KQ on June 18, 2022 at 11:29 pm

1:04 haha aren’t you scared that the phone wld drop down?

  9. Rayquaza Here on June 18, 2022 at 11:30 pm

Buying any iphone used that is not sold new anymore in my country is a poor idea, the prices are not that much lower.

Can we just appreciate the fact how unfair Apple (and Samsung, they do the same here) are prices wise in EU?

$999 (as of today €949) for the 128gb 13 Pro is much lower than the €1199 ($1261 as of today) we pay here for that phone (official Apple price btw)

And I know US prices do not include taxes, but even then 21% (my country) doesn’t make it that high.

Anyhow Samsung does exactly the same, oddly enough most other brands do not.

Back on topic, as for getting a cheaper iPhone that is still supported, 12 Mini and SE 2022 make the most sense here.

    12 Mini is often around €600 new for 64gb, while SE 2022 64gb goes often for around €440, Regular 12 64gb is €760, 13 Mini 128gb is €740 and regular 13 128gb is €830.

iPhone 11 doesn’t make much sense because it goes for €580 (64gb) so unless you really want that phone, 12 Mini makes more sense to get.

SE 2020 is €420 so it doesn’t make sense to get it above SE 2022.

Problem is that these are your cheapest options for iPhones that will support iOS 16, and luckily most of them will do it for a good few years so the investment is worth it.

Used iPhones (and older than 11) don’t make much sense, most of them sit in between the price of the SE 2022 and iPhone 11, and both will give you longer support.

Used variants of these iPhones also don’t make much sense, people in my country often think they sleep on a pile of gold, so the prices are always way too close to the new ones.

Before iOS 16 I always said that iPhone SE Gen 1 was the best pick by far if you wanted a cheap, and still supported iPhone, because they go for around €150 to €220 used or refurbished, depending on the storage you want.

But now that phone is off the list, entering the Apple eco system is more pricey, but with phones like the SE 2022 or even SE 2020 being affordable enough brand new, at least you can be sure they get OS support for at least the next 3 (SE 2020) to 5 (SE 2022) years.

Still very interesting to see how much different it is in the US.

What iPhone do you think is the most worth buying right now?
Posting this from the Calgary Airport waiting for my flight to Houston, Texas! Will be gone for a couple weeks- I’ve got one video at least that should be published in the mean time, but I’m going to try to get some work done while I’m gone, so look forward to that!

I’m getting the non pro iPhone 14 max midnight

  12. SunshineGT2007 on June 18, 2022 at 11:37 pm

I have the 12 pro but the 13 pro max for me is a awesome upgrade

  13. Qwinn on June 18, 2022 at 11:37 pm

Guys, I found a iPhone 11 Pro 256GB for 650€, used not even a year, should I go for this? It would be my first iPhone, but I like the construction compared to 12 and 13, thanks 🙂

  14. Victoria on June 18, 2022 at 11:39 pm

I have never owned an iPhone before but Android phones are getting too big, too expensive and too complicated. I only use my phone for calls, texts, listening to music, watching some short YouTube videos and casual web browsing. I don’t play games or watch movies on my phone. I really want a compact phone that can easily fit in my pocket with a case on. I have tiny hands too. I am more likely to fumble and drop a big phone. The iphone SE 2022 and the 13 mini are the contenders. Good battery life, IP 67, wireless charging, years and years of updates and an easy to use and dependable camera. The compact size being the most appealing factor. I can’t decide which one to get. And IOS will be a learning experience for me. But the time has finally come. To cross over to the "dark" side

Watching this on my se 3rd gen

  16. anabelleb99 on June 18, 2022 at 11:43 pm

I have the se 2020 one got it in 2021 love it so much

  17. Tuvok on June 18, 2022 at 11:44 pm

Just got a 13 pro max after I (finally) destroyed my 8+ screen. Whole new world but gotta say, old 8+ was still kicking (battery was hot booty butter tho)

  18. Jacob G. Witmer on June 18, 2022 at 11:44 pm

I’m on iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m gonna keep using it till the wheels fall off! Lol 😂

Leave me alone WhatsApp users who impersonate Josh!

  19. Mudkip on June 18, 2022 at 11:44 pm

Using a 13 Pro Max, it’s gonna be so depressing when the 14s come out lol

  20. Aidan Ely on June 18, 2022 at 11:45 pm

I’d say the best value phones are really the smaller 13 pro and the 11 pro max. I’m on a XR and I’m still considering the 11 pro max because used with 256gb in the UK is around £400-£500 and it’s still got the second best battery life on an iPhone

  21. MrS034 on June 18, 2022 at 11:48 pm

What do you think about the 11 pro on apple store for 899$CAN
Currently running a xs with 91% battery healt and a 11pro smart battery case on it.

  22. Genesee Trains & Elevators on June 18, 2022 at 11:48 pm

I’ve got a 12 mini, my dad has a 13, and tbh I don’t really see the difference between the 2 phones, except for a bit of a speed difference and new design. Keeping my 12 till the fall or christmas time. Upgrading to the 14 and finding a christmas deal for it.

  23. iBonnie on June 18, 2022 at 11:50 pm

My iPhone 12 is still going good

  24. Anti Dweller on June 18, 2022 at 11:51 pm

I Bought A Product Red iPhone 13 Mini 128GB Earlier Today To Replace My Heavily Damaged iPhone 7 32GB Matte Black.

  25. 999 on June 18, 2022 at 11:51 pm

The SE 2 really is a good deal for ppl who want a home button (8+ too for those older people who need a bigger display) tbh

  26. Quandale Dingle on June 18, 2022 at 11:53 pm

I’m on the most recent SE, battery life is great but i don’t like the iOS 16 beta I have installed

  27. Prince Emad on June 18, 2022 at 11:53 pm

Still using iphone 7 I will upgrade this year 🙂

  31. lololol lololol on June 18, 2022 at 11:54 pm

The iPhone 11 pro is really not that great. I have the 256gb and I hate it and definitely regret buying it lol

  32. Levon Young on June 18, 2022 at 11:54 pm

Like if you agree. To me an old iPhone is an iPhone that is 4.5 years old. That’s when an iPhone becomes old to me. It’s about halfway threw it life. Keep in mind some people are still using a 6s and it’s 7 years old. I’m not saying a 6s is a nice phone still I am saying it still works. But I would say anything from the iPhones 11’s and newer is a apart of the newer iPhones maybe even the iPhone XS since it’s not quite 4 years old yet.

  33. Genesee Trains & Elevators on June 18, 2022 at 11:55 pm

When he was talking about the 12 mini’s battery, I have no problem with my 12 mini battery. It’s not great, but it also isn’t bad either. Especially if you use low power mode, and turn off background app refresh.

  34. Casual Tech Reviewer on June 18, 2022 at 11:55 pm

I think they recycled the iPhone 8 design on all SE models because they want them to appeal to older users where they are not as much a fan of gestures and prefer a button(physical one or not) to press for anything.

With that said apple should just reuse the 8 Plus chassis for the next SE and save themselves from criticsm on camera and battery performance.

  35. Matt92 Machine on June 18, 2022 at 11:57 pm

I just got the 13 last week, and I’ve been loving it. 256 GB is perfect for me, and worth the price. Especially since my carrier is doing trade in deals for the 13, so I got a massive discount. The cameras are great, the phone is very fast, beautiful screen. I am coming from a 120 Hz Samsung too, I don’t miss it. I always disabled 120 Hz since it chews up battery life. I’d do the same if I had the pro, I value battery performance more.

  36. Outerspaces on June 18, 2022 at 11:58 pm

I think the 6s,7 and SE1 are still good options. They are cheap and they still run iOS 15 and will get the security and app updates for 3 more years or longer.

  37. dogbear on June 19, 2022 at 12:01 am

4:20 common misconception the camera in the iphone SE is the same camera in the iphone 7 NOT the iphone 8 as the 8 and 7 camera are interchangeable

  38. Mr. Techie on June 19, 2022 at 12:05 am

I’m still mad at Apple for dropping the iPhone 7 though

  39. Ethan Alman on June 19, 2022 at 12:07 am

My grandma has an iPhone 8 on 79% battery health. She has had it since 2017

  40. Gayle Thornberry on June 19, 2022 at 12:11 am

    Why are screen size small?

  41. Jake Brazier on June 19, 2022 at 12:14 am

It’s so weird to me that the iPhone 8 is the oldest supported iphone

  42. TheRussianLondoner on June 19, 2022 at 12:14 am

Bought iPhone XS MAX 512GB new for 350$ in June 2022…
    Good deal?

  43. Syndicate HQ on June 19, 2022 at 12:15 am

Currently on the 6s battery life has become a nightmare planning to upgrade to the 8 plus

  44. E-Horder on June 19, 2022 at 12:18 am

I will wait for the SE4. should come with 2 cameras

  45. Alyson on June 19, 2022 at 12:18 am

I have the XR and I’m waiting for the supposed 14 max to come out. Not the pro model I don’t need all the camera capabilities. I just need the bigger screen and slightly updated cameras and I’ll be good to go 👍

  46. LEXUS on June 19, 2022 at 12:19 am

love your channel dude, love these videos. i’m rocking the 13 mini and i hope apple doesn’t discontinue them

  47. Йордан Дамянов on June 19, 2022 at 12:22 am

    Should I buy iphone 8

  48. Hugh Russell on June 19, 2022 at 12:22 am

I’d say get the iPhone 12 but only if it’s on sale. My brother recently got a new iPhone 12 for $997 (Australian dollars) which is about the same price as the 12 Mini costs from Apple new, he was upgrading from a 6s with a 💩🔋

  49. Jay White on June 19, 2022 at 12:23 am

It’s a shame the iPhone 7 on 7plus didn’t get iOS 16 because I think they were capable of running it

  50. TylerTT on June 19, 2022 at 12:25 am

Just bought the iPhone 13 and I’m loving it so far
