Fallen Order at 8, even with a diverse points system, is a bit of a disappointment considering that itβs a very good game thatβs hit a wide audience. I was never the biggest Star Wars fan, but now I want to go watch all of the movies, read the comics, and watch the mandolorian.
My personal game of the year due to the accessibility. Anyone can play it to their own ability and it has fun exploration mechanics and has ways to keep you coming back to different plants. Bunch of lightsaber customization. If you havenβt played it, do so now!
Ugh. Outer Worlds. I’m finishing it because I’ve put the time in, but it’s just like playing a much lesser version of Mass Effect, Fallout, maybe a dash of Borderlands. Three lesser versions of better games woven together to make one lesser game.

Hell yes to Psi-Ops! Thank you Scott! Was always hoping they would’ve made a solid successor, but we only got that semi-similar spiritual follow up that didn’t work or need to be attached to Psi-Ops in my opinion.

10 is Call of Duty and 9 is a LOL-so-random gimic game. Yeah… this was a weak year in gaming.
Things like Gears, Pokemon, and Mortal Kombat were more of the same for those very specific fanbases so I guess I see why they didn’t make the list.

Modern Warfare ? hahaha it is the worst one made. The only saving grace was the campaign but to say multiplayer is good when 90% of the gaming community says otherwise is hilarious.

No borderlands?
Started Death Stranding on Tuesday 11/12. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it and shelved it for Fallen Order three days later. I could not stop thinking about Death Stranding and went back to it before the weekend was over. I’ve played it exclusively ever since. It’s brilliant and stupid, challenging and easy, creative and bananas, so …. a Kojima game. Absolutely love it.
