Hey @Quantum TV, I really like your opinions on things, and was wondering for someone who doesn’t want OLED because of Burn-in, what TV would you recommend? This TV is mainly for playing video games. Movies here n there but mainly gaming. I did my research and can’t find a Hisense H9F 55inch. I could go 65inch, but that is a bit big and I’m grinding my teeth just thinking about playing games on that. I love your videos on the Sony TVs and would love to finally buy one after understanding a good TV from a bad one, but from my understanding the input lag on the Sony TVs are not as good as they could be, or when comparing others. I saw on the Sony site that they offer a OLED $1,700 TV, but man, I don’t want to get burn in. I watched your videos, and see that it hasn’t happen yet (maybe because it is a Sony) but still, I think what you said, is that if you get OLED expect burn in at one point. I never want burn in, or the brightness to go down.

I feel like my only choice (in my research is correct) is to get a Samsung QLED? But, the new ones are trash? I feel trapped. I wanted to get a 4k before the holidays because buying one of the consoles will be enough money spent for that time period.

What tv is that ur using colors look greaaaaaaaaaaat!

  4. Jon Photos on July 1, 2021 at 2:31 am

Hi there I wanted to try a 2 point calibration using a phone app just on a preset I don’t use on tv as know this will not be accurate but struggling to find 30% and 80% grey ref pictures do you know where I can get them ? I will upload pics before and after to show how it went

My Hitachi just shit the bed after only 2 years, went half black yesterday and all black today. What would you recommend for right at 1,000.00. I would mainly be using this to watch movies and Youtube, no gaming. would like at least 55 or 65 inch.
I was about to go to Sams club and buy one but I’ll wait to hear from ya!

  6. Larocks Cooking Adventures on July 1, 2021 at 2:33 am

I have samsung everything, loved the company until recently due to my 2 year old 65′ tv screen going half darker on 1 side. What bs. 2 years old and broken. $800 down the toilet. Now lets talk bout cell phones. Of course i want the new ultra 20 but the price tag is way too high. I think its time to divorce this company. Sorry samsung you have gone downhill.

  7. Romano K on July 1, 2021 at 2:34 am

Hi Quantum,I would like to buy a hisense 55-inch qdot tv in my country the model serial number is different to other countries. What is the difference between the Hisense 55Q8600UWG and the 55h9f?

  8. Svyatoslav Nikitin on July 1, 2021 at 2:36 am

I remembered when Apple released iPhone 7 w/o headphone jack (bummer still today). And Samsung publicly shamed Apple on their ads, and now Samsung itself removing 3.5 jack from their phones, so I guess they’ve swapped this pillow

  9. god body on July 1, 2021 at 2:38 am

I thought Samsung and LG produced many of the panels used in oled TVs ? Someone feel free to fact check me but I think Samsung could do oled if they really wanted to. I thinks it’s more of a marketing thing…. but what do I know 🤷

  10. Dr.HazeBlaze on July 1, 2021 at 2:38 am

is samsung worth it if I wany to buy my first 4k tv? it will be a 2019 4K UHD HDR, coming from a LCD toshiba is okay no?

  11. Alvaro A on July 1, 2021 at 2:39 am

    Vintage Hogan!

  12. Dakota on July 1, 2021 at 2:41 am

Hold the phone here, those 8k sammy’s flagships may have something to say about that good brutha, you see the early reviews "Best Samsung/TVs ever made"far as picture quality.Q900/Q950ts.wait till the jury’s specks before you make your verdict.fyi, I have no loyalty to no brand.the only downfall of those sets is there extremely expensive.just dont want you to have to eat crow down the line quantum with the early bold predictions.just let the reviews roll out first dude.

  13. G-Unit 23 on July 1, 2021 at 2:42 am

I wonder if Samsung will clean up their dirty screen effect’ that is so bad on many of there flagship tvs.
Or are they just going to get all there displays from China now???

  14. Cameron Rice on July 1, 2021 at 2:44 am

Amazing that Best Buy always wants to push Samsung on people. Guy working there tried to say a 7 series was better than my Vizio M8 Quantum because the Samsung has a better processor.

For 500.00 I just don’t think you can beat the M8 Quantum. Opinion?

  15. Danny Smith on July 1, 2021 at 2:44 am

Cheapest deal is a deal . & Tv is a tv!

  16. Ty Long on July 1, 2021 at 2:44 am

    Quantum Hulkamania going wild brother!!!

  17. Dan Lee on July 1, 2021 at 2:44 am

So sad cause when I bought my Q6 and Q9FN Samsung was marketleader! Still until now these Versions where the best LEDs put there! Idk why they messed it that much up….

  18. Owen on July 1, 2021 at 2:47 am

No flagship 4K models this year I hate that they try to shove 8k down our throats. Don’t want it not gonna buy it! They nerfed q90t, and some reviews claim it’s as good or better than q90r with just what 96 dimming zones? Don’t believe that

  19. Monharck1 SilEns on July 1, 2021 at 2:49 am

What gaming tv do you recommend? 43 to 55 inch preferably.

  20. pazera66 on July 1, 2021 at 2:49 am

It seems that you missed crucial fact that all 4K TVs from Samsung are way cheaper than last year. Successor of q70r is q80t which is CHEAPER from q70r.

  21. Bob StL on July 1, 2021 at 2:51 am

Quantum, I’m not very up on the tech….just know what I like. Had a Sony OLED mounted above my fireplace….way too high due to location of the mounting set-up in back. I’m stuck with the bracket that’s in there….as it is a stone fireplace. Anyway, the only option with holes in the right spot was Samsung. So, got the Samsung Q90t. I know you hate Samsung for 2020. But….whatchathink? I’m not a gamer…..just TV, sports and movies. Sorry I’m not more knowledgeable. Thanks for any insight you can provide.

The Hulk Thumbs Up – Exit is Genius!!!

  23. enoc on July 1, 2021 at 2:53 am

Especially discontinuing by bringing it back the hdr+ for the second consecutive year.

  24. frank mathis on July 1, 2021 at 2:54 am

I just don’t like Samsung TV’s however that KS was pretty sweet, but that year I got the EC9300 Oled 3-d TV. But the KS was impressive. I feel like Samsung sucks, took 2 of their sets back, the SUHD 9000 and the q9fn, every time I thought I’d give Samsung a shot, their color has just always been off to me.

  25. Jorge Lopez on July 1, 2021 at 2:55 am

That’s why I’m sticking with my Q9fn bro you always hit the spot saying the truth those 8k have the same functionality from the q9fn just a little upgrade but for me the q9fn is my king of tv no matter what comes out Samsung is fucking people in the butthole with this 8ks bullshit

  26. Loudspeaker Tests & More By Aidan Shane Wade on July 1, 2021 at 2:55 am

Samsung is fantastic. Vizio is good, but Samsung is better.

  27. P. Kelly T on July 1, 2021 at 2:55 am

Lol hahahahaha I will keep my awesome Samsung tv

  28. MrAlienautopsy on July 1, 2021 at 2:56 am

Did I stumble upon a channel for tv snobs?? I’m a penny pincher. I’m 46 and never in my life have I bought a tv over $500. Most of my TVs were bought at pawn shops on Black Friday sales for $100 or slightly more. I just bought my largest tv..a 60” LG for $475. I love all my TVs..even that 2010 Samsung lcd that’s still running. Isn’t 4K enough???? I just don’t get into the “oh but next year we are putting out an 8k!!!” I just bought my sub standard lg uhd 60” for less than $500 and I’m gonna love it for as long as it runs.

  29. Abraham Babalola on July 1, 2021 at 2:58 am

My experience with Vizio is such that I can’t recommend it without reservation. It’s only good for watching DVDs not the best for cable, TV, or gaming. The Color has an unnatural hue and tint that are hard to remove even with manual setting, images have ghosts, the picture quality is generally below expectation compared to Sony, Samsung, Sharp or Sanyo

  30. John Knuckles on July 1, 2021 at 2:58 am

What is your recommendation on 4k 65 inch.

  31. TEDThe4Kambassador on July 1, 2021 at 2:58 am

Dude I’ve become so much more knowledgeable about picture and color quality on Tvs since i ran into your channel a few days ago because of you now i wanna get rid of my shitty 2018 tcl 4 series the media loves to misinform the average consumer 😂

  32. iPhone 6s on July 1, 2021 at 2:59 am

Who do you think is the best TV brand in 2020?

  33. krazy dogg on July 1, 2021 at 2:59 am

I have a 60in 2014 8550 that still has nice picture and everything should I buy a q80? Or keep using my TV till it breaks

  34. Aaron Kirkpatrick on July 1, 2021 at 3:00 am

Quantum I’m looking at getting a new Q8fn. I know the most recent firmware updates are “breaking” the picture. What older firmware would you recommend tracking down to install for the best picture?

  35. Mark Portch on July 1, 2021 at 3:01 am

I was thinking about buying Samsung Q80T/90T.Im trying so hard find tv for Xbox series x/PS5. I was looking also at LG nano 90 and list goes on. I don’t agree with some of your videos. BUT AFTER SITTING BACK DOING MY OWN HOMEWORK,I CONCLUDE YOUR ABSOLUTELY BANG ON POINT. In my opinion what Samsung is doing should be Against the law. Any otech technology manufacturer caught doing this would be out of business. Oh question should I wait till later in year or is there gaming tv for Xbox series x PS5 I can buy now

  36. Chemical Storm on July 1, 2021 at 3:03 am

What’s your opinion on the tu8000?

  37. Lu La on July 1, 2021 at 3:04 am

Ok, I’ve been put off Samsung now. Can’t find QFN on the net for Australia. The upgrade version is Q90f. The more I learn… Samsung changes the model name but makes the tv a bit more shit. Am I right? Sony is too out of my budget and if I’m going to go for non OLED, I may as well go for TCL..? 75” is what I’m after but something without the edges shadowing. I think in a year or two… plasmas will be back. But why does Samsung try and trick us with so many fricken models! The 60 the 70 the 80 the 90???? Alexa! Help!

  38. Ravz Gupta on July 1, 2021 at 3:05 am

Awesome explanation and a thing what samsung needs to consider about it

  39. Paul Cochran on July 1, 2021 at 3:07 am

This year every Samsung TV looked slightly out of focus compared to Sony and lg

  40. Steve Smith on July 1, 2021 at 3:07 am

First. When you start off a video showing the Immortal Hulk Hogan, THE GOAT, it makes my day so thank you Q!! Now when it come’s to Samsung I have never had alot of love for them since day one. And my experience with them in the past ranks right up there with Vizio which is to say it was terrible. The last Samsung tv I owned was a total crap fest and I swore to myself I would never buy another Samsung tv again. Now if I could still get a Samsung Q8FN that would be different because that would be the only tv from them I would buy. But since I have my Sony x900e that wont happen. I will say they have had nice tv’s in the past but now? It would be a very hard pass. Then they exit the Blu ray player game and now they have said they are stopping production on LCD panels by the end of 2020 to concentrate on QD panels. Like that will make a difference? And they know doubt are gonna try and cash in on the new fad that is 8K. A tech that is right now a waste of space. If they keep doing what they are doing they will be dead in the water by the end of 2021 if not before. And with this Corona Virus thing going on its gonna hurt even more because things being made in China right now are not to popular. Samsung has only themselves to blame for the situation they are in and I have no sympathy for them in the least.

  41. MrAlienautopsy on July 1, 2021 at 3:11 am

I thought we’d hear which brand uses the most janky parts? Which is most unreliable in 2020? Whose capacitors are from Ghana and last a few months if you’re lucky?? I misunderstood.

  42. Duke Nukem on July 1, 2021 at 3:12 am

I have the q60r from 2019 but the 2020 model is actually a downgrade of the 2019 with a weaker quantum processor and less tech features

    Lol wtf samsung

  43. My Oh My on July 1, 2021 at 3:15 am

Man I’m sad Samsung has gone downhill with their TVs over the years. I mean they used to be the kings of TVs and be proud of owning their TVs. Now their ripping features out of their TVs and even making their TVs worst and worst by year to the point their pathetic and laughable. You can get TVs that are 499 to 599 from Vizio, TCL and Hisense that completely destroys most of Samsung TVs including their q70 series and even q80 at times. Anyway think god for TCL, Hisense and Vizio I feel like their actually the companies that actually care about their consumers and giving out amazing TVs for alot less and moving the TV industry forward every year making TVs better and better unlike Samsung and even LG with their crap nano series TV that isn’t oled.

  44. mygreeneggsandham on July 1, 2021 at 3:17 am

Hey Quantum I have a request. I have been using a 40" LCD TV from 2013 as a computer monitor. I want to upgrade to a 4k TV in the 43" realm. What would you recommend for this usage? 80% work 20% video and gaming. Thanks!

  45. Loudspeaker Tests & More By Aidan Shane Wade on July 1, 2021 at 3:17 am

    I own the Q50R and it’s amazing

  46. Greg Graves on July 1, 2021 at 3:18 am

Samsung is stupid for jumping to 8I and putting everything in it. We can only get a few 4k cable channels and that’s just with DirecTV. Should of Put everything tech they got into the qled 4k tvs. That would of put them ahead of everyone

  47. dennis smith on July 1, 2021 at 3:20 am

Man, it’s sad to see Samsung going so low. I’m still happily using my ks8000 and was hoping for an upgrade in the last year. Now I have to look elsewhere.

  48. B-Shot on July 1, 2021 at 3:20 am

    Q6FN dont have local dimming

    KS8000 has it all😁😁😁😁

  50. David Nippert on July 1, 2021 at 3:23 am

Well said. Too early for 8k.
