Noctua believes so bad on their product that they know even with a shit color that will ruin fucking setups. People will still buy it! Wtf! It also tells us that nothing is perfect and you cannot have everything! I swear if they release a white one they gonna explode with sales!

  2. Dark Souls on January 8, 2021 at 1:19 am

5:00 I had to stop the video there to realize how noctua just spit on everyone , wooooow these perform waaaaaaaay better way quieter

  3. ewolfers on January 8, 2021 at 1:22 am

Anybody know what case that is at 8:04 ?

  4. Billy King on January 8, 2021 at 1:23 am

be quiet are the best because noctua have little jet engine noise. The hum from be quiet is nicer for my ears. I bought 5 different noctua fans and I was very disappointed.

  5. Asda S on January 8, 2021 at 1:25 am

you should definately try out Thermalright c12, whcih offers performance very close to Noctua with a much cheaper price. I currently have both Noctua and Thermalright on my PC, and they are incrediblely similar in terms of noise and performance(but not the price).

  6. h3iberg on January 8, 2021 at 1:25 am

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!! HOW COME THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!

    thanks dude.

  7. Just3brothers on January 8, 2021 at 1:27 am

So I wanna get fans for a build and I’m getting the NZXT H510 case, and do all the 120mm fans work for it, or does in matter please let me know!

  8. Betel Juise on January 8, 2021 at 1:27 am

Noctua needs to go black to reel me in.

  9. Paul Murphy on January 8, 2021 at 1:29 am

The NF-A12 isn’t even their high static pressure model (although it gives good pressure). The NF-F12 is the high static pressure model that they recommend for heatsinks and radiators, with the A12 being the general purpose case fan.

  10. dittocopys on January 8, 2021 at 1:30 am

There are so many Noctua fans on the website, which one is the best? Trying to compare them all is tiring, someone help

  11. Rumburack on January 8, 2021 at 1:31 am

You should have a look at noiseblocker eloop fans

  12. Zess Tea on January 8, 2021 at 1:31 am

i hate the noctua’s aesthetics, they look like wood and they dont fit most PCs aesthetically

  13. Devon Swindell on January 8, 2021 at 1:32 am

    Your radiator is upside down

  14. Vivek Sood on January 8, 2021 at 1:33 am

Artic hands down. Best fans for the price. Noctuas are miles ahead of the rest but the MTBF of Noctua fans is same as Artcic and probably the others. For 5 noctuas one can upgrade gpu or get a new SSD or something better. Happy owner of 5 Artic 140mms. Never going back to 120mm. I don’t see any reason to buy Noctua unless they give a lot more waranty.

  15. goober on January 8, 2021 at 1:33 am

They sound great BUT that gash colour scheme…. Finally, it looks like black versions are on the way going by their Twatter page

  16. Zyzzyx on January 8, 2021 at 1:34 am

If Noctua made RGB fans, then the entire competition (Except for budget fans) would be destroyed.

  17. sabergo1 on January 8, 2021 at 1:36 am

I found that hearing the fans was as informative as the decibel level. The Be Quiet and Noctua fans were nearly indistinguishable from the other and much lower/deeper (pleasant?) than the others by a wide margin. I’m guessing that there are frequency factors that are unique to the person listening. Great review as always.

  18. Phil G on January 8, 2021 at 1:37 am

My only issue is where you have the rad with the pipes at the top where all the air is in the radiator.
All aoi have air for expansion so there for having the flow and return at the top of the rad means it wont be performing at its full potential

  19. Cyberion on January 8, 2021 at 1:37 am

But this is entirely about static pressure fans. Not general airflow case fans. Bummer.

  20. Tk-.-Nation on January 8, 2021 at 1:37 am

Sad did not se the NB-ELOOP FAN B12-P From Noiseblocker

  21. HipsThor on January 8, 2021 at 1:38 am

For me it’s more important to have no annoying sound then the volume

  22. Nemo on January 8, 2021 at 1:38 am

Ugh why do they have to be brown fans why not white

  23. Kay Realist on January 8, 2021 at 1:42 am

My fans are blazing right now running chrome.

  24. Mob on January 8, 2021 at 1:43 am

Good vid. I was looking for something like this. Would like to see how the Lian Li Uni fans match up against these

  25. Amir Motmaen on January 8, 2021 at 1:45 am

Does anyone know how does Noctua NF-A14 PWM compare to NF-A12x25?

  26. Ollie H on January 8, 2021 at 1:45 am

Do fans on top make noise then the one in front?

  27. Calvin C on January 8, 2021 at 1:50 am

Screw all the quietness. I’ll throw a bunch of industrial noctua 3000rpm fans in my computer and turn it into a tornado 😂 can your computer turn into a tornado? 😎

  28. Christian Verreault on January 8, 2021 at 1:50 am

I really wonder why you bother so much with fan noise while you don’t bother at all with fans odors permeability. Most of the fans are made of the same cheap plastic and this plastic as a very strong tendancy to keep track of the odors of the environment where it has beeb used previouly. For instance, if you lived in the basement of a house wich had humidity problème and you move in a 3rd floor dry appartment, your computer will keep on renembering to you where you live previously because all of its fans will keep on smelling bad. 100% metallic fans wouldn’t have this problem but no reviewers seem to give some attention to this problem… Besides, while being not affected by odors, Metalic fans would be a lot less noisy because their blades would be 3 to 4 times thinner than plastic fans. I really wonder when will be the day when computer fans manufacturers will begin to offer 100% metalic computer fans.

  29. Dave Smith on January 8, 2021 at 1:51 am

There’s a reason why Asus AIOs use Noctua fans!

  30. machopito on January 8, 2021 at 1:52 am

Can you compare the Thermaltake Toughfan12 with Noctua NF-12? They have really similar designs but TT is black.

  31. Panagiwtis Athanasiadis on January 8, 2021 at 1:53 am

I really hate the colour of noctua 😞

  32. TheSkepticSkwerl on January 8, 2021 at 1:55 am

The noise profile of the bequiets is by far the best. Sure the noctuas are quieter. But it’s not as bassy and sounds worse. Even if 1db quieter

  33. RIVC on January 8, 2021 at 1:58 am

I like nzxt aer RGB 2

  34. TheJaisah on January 8, 2021 at 1:59 am

I accidentally ordered two Noctua NF-F12 as case fans for my NZXT H510 build. I was wondering, since the 2 exhaust fans are having to blow through the perforated metal casing which would provide some resistance to airflow, would a static pressure fan at 55 CFM / 2.61 mmH20 be better than an airflow fan at 63 CFM / 1.19 mmH20 (NF-S12A)? The airflow fan only flows 15% more air (in ideal unobstructed conditions) but the static pressure fan produces more than double the pressure which would help when pushing air through the perforations in the case exhausts. Thoughts?

  35. Professional Insultant on January 8, 2021 at 1:59 am

you forget to test the 2 OG kings sanace and gentle typhoon

  36. Antonius Kelvin Kurniawan on January 8, 2021 at 2:00 am

From the color scheme alone, you can already tell that noctua gonna win 🤣

  37. Le Hoa on January 8, 2021 at 2:01 am

wonderfull review, this is exactly what I’m looking for

  38. Benjamin Rood on January 8, 2021 at 2:01 am

This is being tested on a radiator. That particular Noctua is not ideal as pure case fan. This is NOT test of case fans, therefore.

Let’s also be frank, the vast majority of you are not going to be overclocking your system like this, the cost/benefit of overclocking with the requisite cooling is really not worth the effort for the vast vast majority of users, and most of you cannot even afford these components. I can, I’m building something more powerful and I’m not bothering to overclock it because there is no advantage. Why overclock a processor when I can get one with a lot more threads that I don’t have to use expensive and power-hungry means to cool? Spend the money where there is genuine output. Overclocking gets you so little additional performance, its the tweakers’ _canard._
If you’re going to spend money, get a better CPU, get a better motherboard, get more ram. Don’t waste money on the most expensive water cooling solution so you can overclock a CPU and get a tiny performance bump. I’ve been down this path, it’s a waste of time. Noctua make great fans, this is not a dig at Noctua, they make great products, but I’m gonna run my system quiet and just use a bunch of Arctic fans and use an Artic Freezer II. These are cost-effective solutions that perform very well.

  39. Samuel Arnold on January 8, 2021 at 2:02 am

I think your Scythe fans are not the High Speed model, which is very powerful (2.81 mmH2O).

  40. LanciaBear on January 8, 2021 at 2:02 am

Akasa Cloudy fans have been crazy good for me (damn quiet) – no idea why no one talks about them…

  41. NightMare_Vortex on January 8, 2021 at 2:03 am

try these as case fans they are personal for me the best Noiseblocker NB-eLoop Fan B12-PS 120mm PWM

  42. Mike on January 8, 2021 at 2:03 am

I knew it was Noctua, and I hadn’t even watch the video yet.

  43. grib on January 8, 2021 at 2:03 am

    Wish the ps4 had noctua’s

  44. wolfmanjacksaid on January 8, 2021 at 2:08 am

This video should be called who makes the quietest fans, since you say it is a foregone conclusion that cooling is the same at same rpm.

  45. Trenton Moonias on January 8, 2021 at 2:09 am

    That’s a beautiful video

  47. william matti on January 8, 2021 at 2:13 am

    $80 per fan come on

  48. Hayden Roberts on January 8, 2021 at 2:16 am

The Lian Li Unifans are the best, because they look the best and daisy chain like no other, that makes them the best IMO. Looks and easy of use are better than 1-2 degrees cooler any day of the week.

  49. Jonathan Oren on January 8, 2021 at 2:16 am

I am definitely the biggest fan of PC.
    😂😂😂😂

  50. Liam Duffy on January 8, 2021 at 2:17 am

Corsair need to work on the blade design to make less noise
