    I’ve ordered the Q95t

  2. Jim Stokes on February 25, 2021 at 11:16 pm

Thank you for the information. You must be rich as Midas. 2 large OLEDS & a large QLED?!!?

  3. Hound Pound on February 25, 2021 at 11:17 pm

Shamim begum is at your window.

  4. Wishmaster nl on February 25, 2021 at 11:20 pm

i also have a bright room and my Sony KD- 65ZD9 is still perfect after 4 years, even today there is no Led/Qled that is better then my local dimming 646 zones Sony TV

  5. joshua goard on February 25, 2021 at 11:20 pm

Here’s the issue with videos like this. I don’t disagree with you, OLED doesn’t handle reflections particularly well and having a window directly behind it could be problematic. The issue with this video is that is suggests that QLED is somehow different than a normal LCD screen….It’s not. the "Q" in QLED means quantum dot and all it is is an extra color enhancing filter on top of the LCD panel. That’s it. It makes reds a little redder, greens a little greener. That is ALL it does. ANY bright LCD could have taken the place of this Samsung and given you the same results. Now samsung does have a great anti-reflection layer as well but that has NOTHING to do with Quantum Dots.

In Short…QLED is no different than a normal LCD. In fact, Sony introduced their "Triluminous Color" YEARS before Samsung coined the "QLED" moniker. QLED IS LCD…It’s not a new type of LCD, or a superior type of LCD, it makes colors a little more vibrant and that is all.

  6. Grant - on February 25, 2021 at 11:22 pm

I have the same reflection issue, is there any other cheaper option than the Q90?

  7. Benjamin Bauer on February 25, 2021 at 11:25 pm

I’ve been trying to convince myself that an OLED would work in my very bright living room… Thanks for the reality check! Q90, it is.

  8. TheDezmen3 on February 25, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Don’t forget, having OLED opposite to sunlights – you will have it on screen permanently eventually 😀

  9. Vineet Kamboya on February 25, 2021 at 11:26 pm

This is not true. If you want to see the reflection on both the TVs while you are in the store, use your flash light of the phone and see what gives you more reflection. Nothing can beat the OLEDs. This video seems like a paid version of SS marketing, TBH. OLEDs can make the QLEDs eat the dust. Why don’t they talk about that SS does not have a Dolby vision support on their TVs. They can’t process the Dolby vision signals where most of the content on Netflix and Amazon Prime is encoded on Dolby vision

  10. Sam Elaustraly on February 25, 2021 at 11:29 pm

I got the q95t cause of gaming and fear of burn but good to know oleds suck in bright rooms thanks for the info

  11. Chris Bowers on February 25, 2021 at 11:30 pm

I went for the Q90T for overall brightness and better reflection performance. Once again I watch sports in the daytime.

  12. Joey Lorenzo on February 25, 2021 at 11:31 pm

Can you do a comparison between the q90t and q80t? We don’t have the q90t in my region and the q80t is the best we have here.

  13. Raj rk on February 25, 2021 at 11:32 pm

Y u compare oled to qled
Compare qled to nano cell tv becouse they are same technology
Oled tv have selflit pixel tv

  14. malc sheldon on February 25, 2021 at 11:32 pm

iv got a big patio window at the side of my tv which isa samsung q7 that im upgrading to the q90t was looking at the oled cx but unsure it will work also my tv is on all day prob over 12 hours how would the oled hold up

  15. Bruce Panda on February 25, 2021 at 11:32 pm

    When ? … Never

  16. MySpankster on February 25, 2021 at 11:34 pm

awesome review i am on the fence between 3 TV’s.its for movies , sports and regular cable tv…..No gaming at all..in a medium lit room can be dark at night……..Samsung Q90T 85 inch , LG CX 77inch or the Samsung 82 inch Q800T 8K …..which do you think would suit me or i would be happiest with ? thx cheers all be safe

  17. Luke Shaw on February 25, 2021 at 11:36 pm

I use my cx in a normal living room with a bifold door so plenty of light coming in, on a night we a lamp on and down lights on behind us. The cx is absolutely spot on with the natural light and with the house lights on. If we watch a film we turn lights off. All this hog wash about daylight ruining it are complete bull. To a television connoisseur it may be an issue but to a normal dude who likes gaming and watches series’ and films it’s an absolutely brilliant tv.

  18. darren annison on February 25, 2021 at 11:37 pm

    do not buy this tv

  19. Kasky Nightblade on February 25, 2021 at 11:37 pm

I have an LG oled Bx. Honestly, it does have a lot of reflection. The screen is almost mirror like. Although I don’t mind, the image quality is superb, and I usually game during nights so it doesn’t bother me that much. I’ll say is a good trade for the display quality.

  20. Serge Coopman on February 25, 2021 at 11:38 pm

Ditched a Lg E6 for an Q90r just for the same reasons . The reflections on the E6 drove me nuts even at night i could see those damn curtains . The Q90r does a much better job and is as close to oled as you can get with that kind of lcd technology together wit the panny dx 902 and Sony zd9 . Sadly Samsung hasn’t any Dolby Vision content which is becoming more and more a huge letdown.

  21. Gary Jahman on February 25, 2021 at 11:39 pm

    Thanks for the video mate.
    Some good information shared 👍

  22. Louie S. on February 25, 2021 at 11:39 pm

If you had to choose only 1 tv, would you choose OLED 65GX or 75Q90T? Mostly for sports, movies and gaming on next gen. TIA

  23. Zen Magnets on February 25, 2021 at 11:41 pm

Most of my TV usage is at night, so OLED is still the best for me

  24. Cricis11700 on February 25, 2021 at 11:41 pm

I dont care how good you think Qled is, Qled will NEVER EVER compare!!!! Stop misleading people into buying less for more!! OLED OBLITERATES THE COMPETITION!!!!

  25. Historydiggerpat on February 25, 2021 at 11:43 pm

Now, samsung doesn’t have Ambilight. Do you have a philips hue lightstrip?

  26. EastAngliaUK on February 25, 2021 at 11:45 pm

    I would go the q90T

  27. D M on February 25, 2021 at 11:46 pm

Holy crap. The reflections on OLEDs are terrible. The Q90T truly is the best all-around TV. Undisputed champ.

  28. darren annison on February 25, 2021 at 11:46 pm

had q9fn no problem got last years q90r £2.500 gathering dust vertical banding on full screen now onto 2nd q90t dse is the worst panel I’ve ever seen so maybe add that in.

  29. Sam Elaustraly on February 25, 2021 at 11:47 pm

Wow this guy is just giving his opinion and copping it from the lg oled fan boys , grow up you twats

  30. Deputy Van Halen on February 25, 2021 at 11:50 pm

I am stuck between buying a Samsung Q90 65" or LG CX 65". I feel like that woman in The Running Man, choosing between Dynamo or Buzz Saw. This guy is lucky he’s got both😢

  31. Steve Smith on February 25, 2021 at 11:50 pm

I just got the BX OLED the other day and I have zero issues with it in my bright room. Of course we never watch tv during the day and if we do we pull the curtains and presto. Problem solved. I will never go back to LED ever again.

  32. Marius Daniel on February 25, 2021 at 11:51 pm

Except from when it’s pixels start to die, yep… that happened. Also, the HDR is kinda shitty too compared to SONY or LG. It’s also overly saturated, annoing whites in PC mode, freesync bugs that haven’t been fixed for over 2 years, always having to manually connect to my bluetooth audio device every time I turn on the TV, broken sharpness adjustment, it goes from blurry to noisy, default only being blurry as hell, especially at lower resolutions. Response time is good though, and freesync… if you manage to get it working. Honestly, anything else is better though, even some cheaper LEDs, like the Sony X900H, but anything really! Just not QLED!

  33. Curt Codein on February 25, 2021 at 11:52 pm

    DON’T HATE ON OLED

DON’T BUY THIS QLED CRAP ITS SO WASHED OUT

  34. Chris Trujillo on February 25, 2021 at 11:53 pm

Does anyone know what mount is being used for the Q90T? I am looking for a close to the wall mount and just bought the 2020 model.

  35. Vineet Kamboya on February 25, 2021 at 11:53 pm

This is not doing justice to the consumers out there

  36. Rito on February 25, 2021 at 11:54 pm

I have a bright living room too, but you know what else I have? Blinds and curtains.

  37. Silk Lion on February 25, 2021 at 11:56 pm

My old 1080p LCD can output 400 nits. I have it set on 45% backlight so I get better blacks (might have <200 nits) Most OLEDs can do much more than that. I think I will be fine. Would never put a window in front of any screen. But my room is pretty bright and I ha e no issue. OLED wont be as well. Only if you put a light source right in front which makes little to no sense with any screen.

  38. Miguel Goyco on February 25, 2021 at 11:59 pm

I own a LG Oled E9 and have that issue. And nothing compares to the picture Quality. And the summer time an OLED doesn’t throw off heat like QLED.

  39. Seb K on February 26, 2021 at 12:02 am

As well as those are two different technologies, the utilisation is more efficient for some environment than other, depending of the technology again. Qled doesn’t win over oled , as well as in the Other side…
since you know your usage and where you will watch you tv, you will make the right choice. So the tittle is wrong 😉

  40. Vineet Kamboya on February 26, 2021 at 12:02 am

OLED is a revolutionary product. Can’t you get that

  41. all things tech on February 26, 2021 at 12:04 am

CONTEXT – I own 2 OLEDs the LG CX and the LG BX which I bought and paid for as I did the Samsung Q90T. I absolutely love the OLEDs but they are super reflective! And before everyone says this is a paid for video by Samsung it’s not.

  42. Erick Perdomo on February 26, 2021 at 12:04 am

awesome! a common sense video from someone who has two of the best tvs out there now…I’m trying to decide between these two…I kind of prefer the 90T (my current TV is a Samsung KS8000)..but the reports of DSE etc discourage me a bit…My room is not as bright as yours but I don’t want to worry about a TV that may suffer from burn-in a few years from now…I’m concerned about the samsung getting too bright at night (but I always install a bias on the back of my TVs) when watching TV at night (with some ambient lighting on)…do you notice any DSE on the Samsung? I want a 75" (I have a 65" now but I’m moving to a new place). Thanks for your video!

  43. Birger Olovsson on February 26, 2021 at 12:04 am

I’ve "closed" my room carefully for my music listening so I bought a LG CX 77" since I’ve already solved the lightning problem.

  44. Rob on February 26, 2021 at 12:05 am

Putting a TV in front of a windows isn’t a good idea. I have the LG oled b7 over three years now I have windows to the side but lucky enough I don’t have a Bright room so perfect. The qled has its flaws also no way I would go from oled to qled rteings.com is a good place to get reviews they go in depth.you can’t beat lg oled for picture quality yes there a bit darker but that’s the price you pay for the best picture

  45. Jaime M on February 26, 2021 at 12:09 am

    Spot on!

  46. Dark Vader on February 26, 2021 at 12:11 am

Not all oleds have this mirror like reflection, Panasonic hz980 has anti reflection coating which is better than that Samsung rainbow coating!!

  47. Dhruv Turakhia on February 26, 2021 at 12:11 am

Very well articulated. These are some factors that as consumers we don’t think about at all but are actually super important in the decision making process. Thanks for the explanation.

  48. Steve Coates on February 26, 2021 at 12:12 am

Great video. Yeah I think oled just doesnt fit with a normal average environment. Who lives in a cave right? So refelections aside….which has the better picture?

  49. Jay on February 26, 2021 at 12:13 am

Best buying decisions for the past few years when I buy flat screens or smart TVs LOL. I always look at the light reflection from the store to see how bad it glares before buying it after picking out the 1 I want.

  50. S abd on February 26, 2021 at 12:14 am

any window opposite any tv is going to be reflective lol
