Just no. Vizio is complete trash, possibly criminal. They completely broke their last gen soundbars with a firmware update, beyond usability. That was over a month ago and there’s no word on any fix.
It happened right as their new soundbars come out, big shocker. Fk Vizio please stop encouraging their sh*tty at best, shady at worst business practices. Of course your one day testing a review unit will be fine. But good luck using it for more than a couple days.
Hey Caleb, does this model have the ‘front surround’ mode? If one is incapable of mounting the speakers at the rear. If so, how does it compare? Thanks in advance.
Don’t get vizio. Even though it produces decent sound, you’ll eventually come to hate your life. Even if you’re a tech genius, vizio atmos sound bar will torture you for hours on end. It’s a daily battle to keep the sound bar connected. I will forever hate Vizio for not fixing connection issues. It you value time, avoid Visio. Spend an extra $100 on a non/vizio sonund bar, & you’ll have instantly saved 12 in your life .
I’ve tried get this one but can’t find it anywhere to purchase. So I settled for the 5.1 atmo 51 model very happy with it sounds great especially the atmo movies

Would like to know if this will last more than a month. M51a just lasted over a month and had to return mine with LG SN7R. LG sounds worse than the vizio, but atleast it’s working for more than a month
I have no idea what dolby atmos is
I don’t have Atmos setup and having a simple 5.1 setup. I thought it was just another tech like 7.1 and 9.1 till I feel the sound in a Atmos theatre. I was watching a movie and in one scene robots fight in middle of a stadium and it rings everyone’s mobile phones. I literally felt like all of our viewer’s cellphones were ringing but it was just the sound effect in that movie. It was incredible the sound positions were pin point accuraye. (I actually turned around to see poeple why all of our phones were ringing)
So I want an Atmos system in my home but currently this tech is too expensive in India. Will see if other players like mi will provide a budget solution.

How important is it to have rear upward firing speakers, does it make a bigger difference than just the two front ones?
And would having a wider/longer sound bar make any difference?

Here’s my question. Will it last more than 4 months?? Because I just returned my M-Series (virtual atmos) that is referenced in this video due to it suddenly not powering up anymore. And it’s a very common problem. Replaced with an LG which doesn’t sound as good but actually works.
I’ve been keeping my eyes out for this bar for a while now. This review put me over the top. On 6/30/2021, I checked the BB website and saw that my store had one, just one. I got to the store as fast as I could and bought it. Tonight I am enjoying this bar a lot! The sound is excellent. I was coming from 2.1 bar to this, wow, just wow. If you can find it, pick it up.
