I played the world end syndrome demo a while ago. I really need to play/watch the full game.

Great… Now my backlog is just that much bigger! But I have owned Song of Memories for a while, so I might bump it up higher in my queue!

Tokyo Twilight GH is one of my favourite game. People tend to struggle with the battle system because nowadays if something is harder than Assasin creed and not Soulslike then it’s bad apparently.

    World End Syndrome sounds interesting.

  5. Alex Cameron on June 27, 2021 at 1:31 am

    …I like lists 😮

  6. Hemang Chauhan on June 27, 2021 at 1:32 am

Really wish World End Syndrome and Demon Gaze II were on PC as well. Really wanted to check them out.

Great list! Blue Reflection esp. for being a very different kind of JRPG experience.

I have Exist Archive, I just… need to play it.
Good choice including Akiba’s Trip, as someone who picked it up years ago, it’s real fun (Arguably I’d say that Akiba’s Beat would be a more "forgotten" game versus Akiba’s Trip as Trip is on PS3 and PC as well while Beat is only on PS4 and Vita but I approve of any Akiba’s Trip rep. Plus there’s the Trip anime which while not being an adaption of Undead and Undressed, likely led people to check the game out)
also great list overall, it had a couple games that were already on my radar and the ones that weren’t on it now are.

    This games looks interesting😊😊👌

World End Syndrome was easily one of the best games of the generation and The Silver Case is a wonderful rabbit hole to dive into, you just gotta push past the constant text clicking noise and you’re in for a treat.

To add onto this list, a few wonderful games to check out are:
    * Crystar
    * 428: Shibuya Scramble
    * Zanki Zero: Last Beginning

Worldend Syndrome is one of my favourites, still waiting on a release date for the announced sequel!!
Also props for mentioning Blue Reflection and Song of Memories, got those too, I’m a super weeb! 😁

  11. ALittleSnowFairySaga on June 27, 2021 at 1:42 am

    Blue Reflection is truly one-of-a-kind.

  12. TypicallyUnique on June 27, 2021 at 1:50 am

Y’s IX just came out and it’s getting so many praises.

  13. G_zus on June 27, 2021 at 1:50 am

lol these are actually the ONLY games I’ve played on ps4. I avoid boring mainstream AAA games.

  14. Mega Zuna on June 27, 2021 at 1:54 am

blue reflection was good. i want a sequel

  15. Ricardo Vazquez on June 27, 2021 at 1:59 am

I really like the narration in these videos, it feels like a friend recommending you a game, or in this case 10 games.

  16. Alejandro E on June 27, 2021 at 2:00 am

I am not a fan of visual novels, but I have every single JRPG listed here.

  17. JayDee on June 27, 2021 at 2:01 am

I’ll prob say Digimon World Next Order, I wish it was more popular. Demon Gaze and Ghost Hunters have been sitting in my backlog for forever lol.

  18. Strick Nine on June 27, 2021 at 2:01 am

I own them all. Good list though. 🙂

  19. Leaf on June 27, 2021 at 2:01 am

Tokyo Twilight looks very good, I have to check that one out. I’ve at least heard of the rest (and played World End Syndrome)

  20. Jordan Validate on June 27, 2021 at 2:02 am

Love the idea for lists! I would add Tokyo Xanadu to the list for sure

  21. Ex.720 on June 27, 2021 at 2:08 am

Great list! Very glad to see Nights of Azure and TTGH get some love.

  22. Geek Gamer Gui on June 27, 2021 at 2:08 am

    That’s nice. But you forgot 13 Sentinels…

  23. Sonicking15 on June 27, 2021 at 2:08 am

    Love akiba’s trip.

  24. q on June 27, 2021 at 2:09 am

I’ve only played Blue Reflection from this list, 10/10 for OST. Haven’t found a Gust game with OST as great yet (only played Ryza 1 and Dusk so far)

  25. nicola white on June 27, 2021 at 2:11 am

Have heard of all of them and played the majority of them.

  26. Jose Manuel Sanchez on June 27, 2021 at 2:11 am

Im a simple man. I see world ended syndrome on the thumbnail, I hit like

  28. angrytacos on June 27, 2021 at 2:12 am

PS4 success helped revive Japanese games development, for that I will be forever grateful to the console.

  29. Nersius on June 27, 2021 at 2:15 am

Exist Archive is an easy skip, bulk of ’em look good though.

  30. Fletch on June 27, 2021 at 2:16 am

Just thought I’d mention one more, been playing Root Double on my PS Vita (a physical game I got in 2020, who said Vita was dead), I highly recommend this one too, very intense. And it has 4 stories I believe, still on the first (√After) and I must’ve played it for a good 25 hours, so a lot of content.

  31. Ingo Gries on June 27, 2021 at 2:19 am

World End Syndrome has been a long time on my list but since i still dont own a PS4 as of yet i will have to tackle that later D:
God Wars looks interesting and its avaible on steam! <3 since im playing the Utawara series right now nice looking game for maybe after (btw Utawara series is also avaible on PS4 with a great story just saying 😉
Blue Reflection and Nights of Azure dunno they did look interesting but cant seem to find to pick them up for some reason if i had to i guess BR instead of NoA.

  32. Martin De-Serres on June 27, 2021 at 2:22 am

The Spirit Hunter series is one of the most underrated on PS4 so peeps need to play them, especially since Experience Inc are working on the 3rd game as we speak.
Also, while you mentioned The Silver Case in the video, peeps need to play its sequel The 25th Ward as well to get the full picture.
    Great list overall! 🙂
