  5. Karl Stephens on June 16, 2021 at 1:07 am

The VESA mount is upside down (which means the top edge was orientated to the bottom and the bottom side orientated to the top).

Any recommendations for the monitor arm?

  12. Ugly Stick on June 16, 2021 at 1:12 am

1 more problem – desk is at the wall this means monitor can’t be used away from you because arms will hit the wall and using 2x 27" right in your face is not comfortable

    Monitor arm is convenient ✨
I also use two monitors with monitor arms attached.
The video was also very easy to understand! I also studied videos. Thank you. With love from Japan 🙂

This is exactly what concerns me getting a gas lift monitor arm for my monitors. Sure it free up a a lot of space. But the cons are greater than its pros.

  16. Max Nakfoor on June 16, 2021 at 1:14 am

Why does no one know how to pronounce Vesa? It’s "Vay-suh" not "visa"

  17. Hydro on June 16, 2021 at 1:14 am

You guys should post a video recommending good monitor arms!

  19. Encaged314 on June 16, 2021 at 1:20 am

The wire management (or lack of it on some arms) and needing a VESA adapter for my monitors are what is stopping me from arm mounting

Pause at @53 seconds to avoid entire video

  21. Thorable on June 16, 2021 at 1:22 am

multiple monitors really require extreme angles so your eyes are equidistant from all of them, arms makes this easy, with stands people are just squinting at the sides too far away.

  22. Senha Lp on June 16, 2021 at 1:24 am

My monitor had a 100×200 mount. I had to get an adapter plate

Crappy clickbait. These aren’t really problems. If anything, this is truly a buying guide. It covers all of the things you need to consider. 27", 8 pound dual monitors? No problem. The monitor arm I purchased accommodates up to 32" and 18 pounds. I didn’t do any hunting for large width tolerances, or high weight capacities. And the price was moderate.

More than anything, this highlights what someone needs to consider when buying a monitor arm – and the downsides of failing to do so.

I once had the opposite problem on an office job-site. We were installing 73 new workstations, and someone checked the "HD" box for the monitor arms. Their monitors were only like 4.5 lbs, but the monitor arms were made to support 7lbs and up. All of the monitors were hels up 2ft above the desk surfaces, untill we could get ahold of 73 four pound steel plates to go between the arm and the monitor to make them heavier. Man, that sucked…customer was PISSED!

    “Veysah” not “Veeza”

  35. TycoTyrannus on June 16, 2021 at 1:45 am

Why dont you use single gas arms? Two singles is better than a dual. Nothing currently beats a gas arm, so what is your solution sir?

  36. Xs HuskyBoiii on June 16, 2021 at 1:47 am

Is monitor weight a issue for the desk (break/crack the desk)

  37. Cicolas Nage on June 16, 2021 at 1:48 am

has a $100+ monitor arm but still using VGA lol

  38. Aleksandar on June 16, 2021 at 1:48 am

    Vesa? Really? That’s not a problem, it’s a feature.

  39. Zethir on June 16, 2021 at 1:51 am

"Cable managment issues.." and actually has inbuilt cablemanagment but chooses to out them on the outside

  40. J J99 on June 16, 2021 at 1:52 am

Lol this is a monitor arm hater video lol. All the problems he addressed are only problems if you buy a monitor arm that does not support the weight of the monitor you bought. Just make sure your monitor arm supports at least 5-10 pounds more than what your monitor weighs and you’ll be fine.
