   I’m a former Debian guy but I switched to Fedora. The more frequent updates, flatpak, Wayland implementation and the ability to still use ifconfig and a few other commands Debian has deprecated sold me on it. It also has the cleanest implementation of Gnome out of the box. I could’ve done more tweaking with Debian but I’d rather just switch to a distro with devs who share my vision out of the box than make a slew of major changes to another distro and have things break as updates come along that are incompatible with the tweaks I had to make or obscure packages I may have installed.

   Windows 11 has finally pushed me over the edge… (No punt intended) I’ve been testing Kali Linux and Ubuntu on a VM, Garuda Linux looks amazing!, Does anyone know of any issues not mentioned in the video or have any tips for best performance?

    The best one for me is Linux Mint. If you want it to look like Garuda, just download the theme and the icons and it looks so f… beautiful! Linux Mint is faster in a 8-year-old PC than Windows running on a new and high-end machine.

    I run ZorinOS as my "just works" distribution on my PC for basic purposes and gaming from time to time and Arch on my laptop to actually learn more about the system. I could not be happier with that combination

    Hi guys. In search of lightness, beauty and performance, I installed Garuda LXQt. It’s a amazing system as long as you don’t try to install most recently proprietary nvidia drivers.
    On my LG A560-T notebook with GT-640M, I used the automatic driver installer itself, but the display always loses the original 1920x1080p setting and goes to a maximum of 960×540… a disaster!

    Only Con I see with Zorin OS, but might just be a Linux thing, is the battery consumption issue on laptops. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ I love Zorin OS beyond that issue
