FF14 isn’t a game you play to reach endgame. If you play, play it for the journey, because the destination isn’t wholly worth your focus.

If it helps, I think they reduce the required exp every expansion to level. But there are a good bit of things to learn

I have an idea for you so you can experience ffxiv as quickly as possible and be able to catch up very quickly. Only buy the level boost thingy and then quests will be way easier and much faster to go through while being able to enjoy it and walkthrough the story and understand it.
Note. There are some quests that bound you to a specific level but you’ll get through those just fine

Force, I think for only 65 bucks you can buy shadowbringers and a story skip which will give you the new expansion and all previous ones as well. My main gripe is that content is locked behind the main story of FF14 but the story skip allows you to get caught up to the beginning of shadowbringers without having to watch all the cutscenes, do the story dungeons, quests, etc. The good thing is that if you’re interested in the story (which I think you def will be) you can watch all the major cutscenes in the inn to get you caught up with everything going on. I just started FF14 about 3 months ago and it’s definitely the best mmo I’ve played since vanilla WoW and TBC days. Love your vids man, keep it up.
Edit: well I didn’t watch the last bit before posting, seems you’re aware of the skips. Personally I wouldn’t buy a level skip because leveling is pretty easy and you’d get a chance to play thru a lot of the dungeon content and other things while you level.

Just finished FF14 SB.. Im playing last 30yrs.. and there is nothing like ff14.. 😉
I started with FFXIV last week because the expansion content looks soo good, however I still have to go through the MSQ which I heard can be a bit of a grind. Currently lvl 18.

also, FF14 has a free trial to level 35 with every class. you could do that in bits and pieces to get to nearly half of level cap with any and all classes for free.
