  2. Jacob Alz on February 1, 2021 at 8:53 pm

I have been using Edison mail for a couple months and I really like it! It is great and a pro tip is that you can mark an email as read just by dragging the blue circle on it…

  3. Log Home on February 1, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Airmail has turned into a subscription app. I paid the $5.00 in the past but without the subscription you get NO notifications. SUCKS NOW !

  4. patrick jackson on February 1, 2021 at 8:54 pm

No app beats going to a desktop email site like gmail and bulk deleting email from one sender.

  5. Yusuf Kaya on February 1, 2021 at 8:55 pm

lets be honest, according to the video airmail seems best. i was surprised why he picked up the edison.

  6. GOD_ on February 1, 2021 at 8:56 pm

I liked the gmail but iOS mail app is just sucks it sometime doesn’t give me any email or sms

  7. Роман Южный on February 1, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Spark is the most buggy and insecure email client! Push notifications come through time, badges on the icon as they want and appear. In order to receive mail, you need to open and update the application, besides, developers merge user data to third parties.

I am using spark email app. But I am not getting any notification. When I went to settings I saw that beside my email Id it is written that "not verified”. And that’s why spark can’t enable the spark features like smart notifications or any kind of notification. I googled it but no hope. I am using 2 step verification for my Apple ID and created app specific password but spark is not taking that password and showing me errors. My Apple ID and google mail is same. Pls help.

If Edison is your goal to why you always have inbox by gmail app on your homepage

  10. a c on February 1, 2021 at 9:00 pm

U still reccomend this as best ? Free

  11. Gray Michaels on February 1, 2021 at 9:03 pm

Will Edison allow inline images and PDFs (in the text rather than as an attachment)? Spark won’t do this, Apple mail will.

  12. rob cuisinier on February 1, 2021 at 9:03 pm

thank you great mail i like it

  13. Shane Bentley on February 1, 2021 at 9:03 pm

    I use eddison
Love it. I watch your videos all the time. Thanks for always being awesome

  14. Anthony Brown on February 1, 2021 at 9:06 pm

Spark is by far the best one out right now.

  15. GETREAL! on February 1, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Good video . I used Spark for almost 2 years but couple of month ago they used a new user agreement so they linked all emails to one account and if you ever delete that one main email account you will lose all your email accounts. For example I had 10 email account independently after the new agreement they all connected to one account. After I mistakenly reset that one email account all the10 other account got lost ….disastrous 💀💀💀💀

i think iphone native mail app download the emails to the phone. do the other 3rd party mail apps(spark or edison) also download the emails?

  17. Danaliism on February 1, 2021 at 9:09 pm

I absolutely love my Edison Mail app for iOS……..can’t stand stock iOS Mail.

  18. zollotech on February 1, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Be Sure to Watch This follow-up about the top pick in this video. It’s important. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BieYss9irFY&feature=youtu.be

Great video! Regarding Airmail, you can delete many emails at once. You touch and hold (don’t apply pressure though) and check boxes will appear on the left side. You can then select which emails you want to modify, and then the ellipses in the top right will give you the options.

Overall your top three apps are spot on (imo) and I have all three for varying reasons. I primarily use Spark, but love the fact that I can quickly see what I’m subscribed to in Edison. I’m just getting used to Airmail as I only recently got it (last night in fact) but it’s a pretty powerful app overall.

Lastly, I’m also tinkering with Canary. I like that it handles GPG/PGP out of the box, but there’s still a few issues I have with it which I’m trying to work with their support on.

  20. Bruno DECOURCY on February 1, 2021 at 9:15 pm

Mail because I can send big files such as pictures or videos. Mail is like a Swiss knife for me. Airmail because it’s highly customisable. But less reliable…

  21. rsxfreak79 on February 1, 2021 at 9:16 pm

You can select as many emails as you’d like and then delete them all at once in Airmail. Just touch and hold on an email (not 3D Touch).

  22. Angelo Gargantilla on February 1, 2021 at 9:16 pm

Are there any apps besides stock mail that has widgets?

  23. Neil Boardman on February 1, 2021 at 9:18 pm

Hi Aaron, thought you might be interested in Edison’s privacy, Edison harvests information from your email, that’s why it is free. See their privacy policy here: https://www.edison.tech/privacy.html
    Great video as usual.

  24. Rohit Srivastava on February 1, 2021 at 9:19 pm

Thank you so much. I always watch your video.

  25. Krushna Allam on February 1, 2021 at 9:20 pm

Can u make a video about media players for iOS (like VLC etc.,)

  26. anant joshi on February 1, 2021 at 9:21 pm

Spark is the best e-mail service I’ve experienced so far for my iPhone.

  27. steel united111 on February 1, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Just curious. What’s the hate on gmail? Is it because it’s more common with android😂. I find gmail to be the most user friendly. But I love spark!

  28. Jerel McCollum on February 1, 2021 at 9:24 pm

I like Edison, but I use Gmail since its easier for me to attach files from my Google Drive.

  29. iCSvision on February 1, 2021 at 9:24 pm

In Edison mail can you send pictures as attachment and resize them before sending mail? Or do you know a mail client that can do what I said? Thanks!

  30. Vicente Valjalo on February 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm

Thanks for the detailed review! I choose Edison!

  31. Justin Campbell on February 1, 2021 at 9:28 pm

Can you do this again since ios13 is out?

  32. ZB87 on February 1, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Spark vs Edison mail…. Which is better for battery life?

  33. Gustavo Cuba on February 1, 2021 at 9:31 pm

In Airmail you acctually can select a lot of emails if you let press on the left and then you can see how the list of emails move to the right so you can select multiple. Is not be like a force touch, but you have to press.

  34. Gray Michaels on February 1, 2021 at 9:32 pm

Just tried Edison after your review. Very nice features, but so far won’t allow me to set up my IMAP account, not insert image/logo to signatures, and worst of all, no MacOS version that I can find. I shall stick with Spark.

  35. K M on February 1, 2021 at 9:33 pm

I just switched from the stock iOS email app to the gmail app. I won’t to add notification sounds and vibrations when receiving and sending an email. Can you help with that?

  36. Tdrex820 on February 1, 2021 at 9:34 pm

Gmail keeps deleting my emails it’s so frustrating

  37. Gray Michaels on February 1, 2021 at 9:37 pm

I kept going back to Spark, loved Airmail until it messed up my MacBook- far too complex anyway. Right now I’m happy with Apple Mail.

  38. devin vosburgh on February 1, 2021 at 9:38 pm

Have to say I have used all the iPhone email apps and I always go back to Newton. It’s expensive…no question, but I get email pushed right away and it’s smooth.

  39. John Mendillo on February 1, 2021 at 9:39 pm

hello there guy, I really love your videos. I have been using gmail as a mail app to start a list of people I know and information, but is there something better to use and is it easy to transfer gmail to another mail app…..thanks again, regards, John Mendillo

  40. XlifesXtoughX on February 1, 2021 at 9:39 pm

All email apps are the same at this point

  41. Marian 1st on February 1, 2021 at 9:41 pm

    My top 3 …
    1 Spark , 2 Edison , 3 Outlook

I’ve been using Spark for many years now and I got so used to it. I just can’t replace it with something else. I like it. I just wish the text would be larger.

If you’re just looking for an email app, I recommend Edison.
Outlook is very similar to Edison, but to me Edison takes the edge here.

  42. Gray Michaels on February 1, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Spark for me, love Airmail, but I’ve had problems with the Mac version. I keep coming back to Spark.

  43. Ashish Pathrabe on February 1, 2021 at 9:41 pm

How to bookmark chrome in apple iPhone with Gmail id and sync this bookmark forever in Gmail id ( that can sync anytime in future in android phone

  44. Ari Gadget on February 1, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Edison is a fantastic one. I always think why cant it have a native desktop version. That will kind of make it all rounder.

  45. Роман Южный on February 1, 2021 at 9:42 pm

This pseudo-mail application analyzes all your mail on its servers using special algorithms and merges data with third parties.
In addition, the application crashes and restarts in the background, which leads to increased battery drain.
Because of this, do not wait in time for push and stickers on the icon, a pending letter may never be sent at all. If you really want to check your mail, you will have to manually enter the application and update it.
As a result, the best default apps that you have on your iPhone haven’t come up with anything yet.

  46. Gustavo Cuba on February 1, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Why you didn´t compared with Newton and Inbox ??

  47. Shandy Saada on February 1, 2021 at 9:45 pm

I use edison email, it works great and free.

  48. John Himmelberger on February 1, 2021 at 9:46 pm

The new Gmail App now supports snoozing and suggested responses

  49. AELHKMM on February 1, 2021 at 9:47 pm

Edison is the best among your list but I don’t think there will ever be a beautiful email app as Mailbox , RIP.

  50. r damien on February 1, 2021 at 9:47 pm
