1998 – 2004 Is easily the greatest period of all time imo. Squaresoft , Rare , Nintendo , Sony , Sega , Capcom , Konami , Blizzard , and Arcade Machines all at their peak!

No DS, no PSP. Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver since Watchmojo didn’t say no remakes? Mario Kart DS? At least Galaxy 2 has some love. This generation has too much violence that it’s sad that only one Nintendo game made it.

Oh please, fucking Mario Galaxy makes the list but Halo 3 can’t even scrape an honourable mention? Sorry, but that game alone was more popular than most of the games on this list. Dark Souls should’ve been higher, and Red Dead Redemption should’ve had a mention as well. Would it really hurt you that much to just roll a slightly longer honourable mentions montage so you could at least include a few more games on the list? Keeping the video on the short side does more harm than good.
