In honor of the 13 year legacy of the Playstation 2, I’m giving you my Top 10 PS2 Games! Now these are games that are exclusive to the console, but may have been remastered or have sequels released on other platforms later on. Again, this just my personal list, and there’s a lotta memories associated with these games that I grew up with. Hope you can share some of these choices as well!

I agree with your numbr 2 and number 1… Kingdom hearts is a masterpiece and final fantasy x is incredible and its paradise for completionist.
Final fantasy x was ahead of its time why cos half of thw stuff in it was given, but you know if it was mad into a game now, that extra stuff would of been DLC

Sir have you ever considered reviewing Daxter on psp? I played it when I was a little kid and it was a big fun time. But I wonder if it was all nostalgia or was it really good?

Stuart Little 3: Big Photo Adventure. My number one. Give it a try if you never heard of it. (PS2 exclusive btw)

Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence (The best Metal Gear ever)
I thought he was gonna be a scrub and pick Tekken 5 for the PS2 fighting game but instead he picked Soulcalibur 3?! A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.
Socom 2 and 3 are my top exclusives for sure

1. Final Fantasy X – I’m not a RPG guy. I knew nothing about FF, or anything about JRPGs when I played this for the first time. So it says a lot that this made it to my #1. I play some RPGs now thanks to this game, so I feel like I became a more refined gamer, as well as enjoying a game, which is why FF X is my #1.
2. Sly 2: Band of Thieves – definitely my favourite childhood game. I have played this more times than I can remember and the *SPOILERS* Neyla’s backstab incarcerating the gang barely a third of the way through the game still hits me. It shouldn’t work, anthropomorphic Oceans 11 with dad jokes and yet it does. Not many games have a story that is so refined for a 3+ game that kids and adults can enjoy it.
3. Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves – more Sly 2, which is what I wanted. I didn’t want it to end. Finishing Sly 2 and 3 was like saying farewell to a family member.
4. Okami – I played this recently on the PS4, so glad I finally got around to playing it.
5. Sonic Heroes – Don’t judge me. OK judge me, but it’s my list haha. I really enjoy the Adventure-like speed and the team based beat ’em ups. Lots of people don’t like the latter. Each to their own, I come back to this game to this day. It’s fun and the soundtrack is awesome.
6. Simpsons Hit and Run – Who needs GTA really, this is just so hilarious even today.
7. Colin McRae Rally 04 – The game my PS2 came with so, nostalgia, and I loved learning to get to grips with the Group B cars, very rewarding, and the right level of grind to get them too. The new Dirt Rally games just aren’t the same, maybe I’m getting old.
8. Shadow of the Colossus – An absolute marvel, although I hate killing some of the majestic beings! I can’t play it too many times just for that! Incredible game though.
9. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – I loved this as a child. The score from Jeremy Soule, exploring Hogwarts and trying to get all the damn Wizard Cards, flinging stupid gnomes around and soaring the grounds on the Nimbus, this is an underrated game.
10. Ratchet Gladiator – The R&C game I played the most. Gleeman Vox (I think that’s his name) cracks me up. Also new game + rarely keeps me playing but it did here. It’s a little repetitive and honestly kinda intense and morbid for young kids to potentially be playing, which is another reason this has cult status for me. It’s just plain weird ha as well as the fun R&C experience.
