Even when PS6 or 7 comes out. The PS1 and PS2 will always be my favourite consoles. So many memories. I’m glad I was born in 1989 so see the PS1 mature into an iconic console

I was 10 years old when I first played MGS1 and back then I already knew I was playing an instant classic. It literally put the video in video game.
The Vagrant story’s Lock target mode is also used in parasite eve, which many loved: Fact 2020 PS1
I started with these 25 years ago and never stopped since.

No Silent Hill, Dino Crisis, or Fighting force? You need to go for confession.
Strangely enough some of my favorite memories were actually from those discs that came with a bunch of demos.
Not a bad game but me and mine used to also go crazy in Twisted metal and Spyro the dragon, Need for speed hot pursuit and Parasite Eve!
Unparalleled at the time but unplayable in 2020. No medium ages quite as badly as a video game.

I remember gran turismo was the most played game on my ps1 my dad even played it he bought the ps1 steering wheel and pedals just for that game
Personally, the best PS1 game is Medal of Honor, no contest. It and Allied Assault are the two best FPS games I’ve ever played. Besides being super fun, educational, and having the best shooter controls ever (Literally. ‘R2 to aim, X to shoot’ with no ironsights is actually a godsend), Medal of Honor has the best video game soundtrack of all time.
