VR needs to be wireless with built in hardware to be viable for most people. The tech isnt there yet for a really powerful VR headset that doesnt use a computer but it will be eventually. IF they throw something like a m1 chip in there it would be very capable

I have been tempted for the last few years but never actually bought one. I felt like it’s not ready yet. If I get one, it will definitely be the Oculus2 so I can try it out without spending a lot.

It depends how you use the headsets, for me I’ll probably be bringing it to a friends or just playing at home so Oculus quest 2 is the best choice for me

I have an OG rift, a Reverb G2, and a Quest 2… I love VR but I think I’m done with it until we get haptic gloves and move away from controllers with buttons on them. I’m not interested in pressing buttons anymore or having to hold on to anything. I want to naturally use my hands. It feels like we should be there already but for some reason we aren’t.
Can you use the vive pro 2 with PS5? And can you use controllers from another brand with that vive?

Was all in on getting an Oculus Quest 2, but just today was trying to get my old Facebook account ready to use… the whole thing is broken for me at the identity verification stage and now after reading how easy it is to get your account bricked… I can’t see myself putting any money in Oculus. Cancelled my backorder and watching this video for the second time to find a new option, good video!
i was seriously considering getting a quest 2 because it’s affordable for a VR console. but it’s required that i sign in with a facebook account, so it seems more of an extension of facebook rather than a gaming device
