the budget options are seriously limited in the UK – what would you recommend for this market? Hisense and TCL is very limited here

To not lose TV shows you are interested in, add them to your watchlist in the MovieDiary application for android. It is much more convenient than storing in notes) Link to Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flame.moviediary

Hi, I am looking to buy a Tv with size of 55 or 60 inches. I mainly watch Netflix or sports (football) and I might get the PS5 when it’s available at all times probably some time next year. What do you think i should go for? I’m kind of a Samsung fan but I’m open to suggestions. Thanks

  6. Braska Bani on December 18, 2020 at 11:48 pm

q90t with the right settings is King.

  7. A H on December 18, 2020 at 11:48 pm

I have the Samsung Q80t, it has an issue with dirty screen effect but it isn’t noticeable when watching content on gaming.

  8. Matt Bruno on December 18, 2020 at 11:51 pm

Is the H8G still recommended for an 85”? I wasn’t sure if the size of the tv matters with these recommendations. Thank you!!

  9. TheBlooRayChannel on December 18, 2020 at 11:52 pm

No Sony or TCL tv’s in the lineup this year! Not a criticism. Just very interesting. Keep up the excellent work! Your tv calibration settings made my life better 🙂

  12. Michael S. on December 18, 2020 at 11:54 pm

Anyone serious about the best picture period should own a oled.

  13. Rod Fulford on December 18, 2020 at 11:59 pm

According to UK info on Samsung Q80T there no extra layer for improved viewing angle. Could you clarify please

  14. Jack Macpherson on December 19, 2020 at 12:02 am

I would like you to come to my house and read stories to my children. Your voice is relaxing.

  15. Christian Ruf on December 19, 2020 at 12:03 am

In germany, the q80t does not have the layer for better viewing angles. Only starting st the q90

  16. Martin Go on December 19, 2020 at 12:03 am

This is the only channel I trust for TV reviews

  17. James Johnson on December 19, 2020 at 12:04 am

The H9g is just shy of the Samsung q9t and has as good if not brighter picture. Recent extensive testing in gaming with newest consoles finds it to be excellent it plays with the PS5 excellently at 60fps. It also does crush blacks period. It appears according to PS5 and Xbox X to support Vrr. The only real issue found was red blur, but oddly only in Netflix? Tester found no adjustments corrected his particular unit and it does show sporadically in isdue columns fot Hisence. I would hope itis a firmware update. But could be panel QA issue.

  27. vinnie92 on December 19, 2020 at 12:17 am

  28. Claudio Cito on December 19, 2020 at 12:17 am

Extra question: there will ever be OLED monitors with good response times and refresh rates? Or am I dreaming?

  29. MonsterSteve on December 19, 2020 at 12:18 am

As someone who just received his 55" LG CX this past Sunday, I agree with you 🙂

  30. Andrew Thomas on December 19, 2020 at 12:18 am

I have a Sony A8 (H) and as I’m not a Gamer I am Very happy with the picture and sound, it’s the best TV I have ever owned. 😊

  34. Arthur Sutton on December 19, 2020 at 12:19 am

You didn’t add the best one for gaming that’s super important

  35. Stuart Karden on December 19, 2020 at 12:22 am

I have a 65” LG B6 OLED I got 11/26/2016. I watch a lot of CNN and MSNBC and got terrible burn in. (I probably have them on 2-3 hours per day going between the 2 with another couple of hours per day watching other things). LG was good enough to replace it and I got an entirely new panel 11/24/19. At that time I was told to do their screen clearing routine (which takes about 1 hour) every month or so, which I did. I already have noticeable burn in again! Since I noticed it a few weeks ago this panel lasted less than 1 year. When I called LG this time they said I should have been running the screen clearing routine every 2-3 days, which is ridiculous. While my news watching may be unusual, at even 4 hours per day (which I doubt) that meant I got permanent burn in in about 1,400 hours or less. So don’t believe that burn in is nonexistent or requires so many hours it is a non-issue. Therefor I’ll never buy an OLED again.

  43. stennan on December 19, 2020 at 12:30 am

Quick question Daniel, do you have any thoughts on Philips TVs? I can’t find any reviews on your site for that brand. Are they really bad panel that are being sold thanks to their flashy ambilight feature.

  44. Arjun T on December 19, 2020 at 12:31 am

Just ordered the LG BX, ik it’s not the CX but still damn excited to hook it up to my PS5!

  45. Akash Dhanjal on December 19, 2020 at 12:33 am

Your reviews helped me buy a new TV. 👍 Specially, the information your website offers is unmatchable. Would definitely recommend you guys to my friends who are thinking of buying a new TV.
Would recommend including RCA TVs in your reviews.

  46. Sam Wilcox on December 19, 2020 at 12:36 am

When are you guys going to be reviewing the Acer Predator XB273U GS??? And also the GX???

  47. Cristian R.F on December 19, 2020 at 12:36 am

    LG cx? And SONY A8/89??

  48. Michael Palmieri on December 19, 2020 at 12:39 am

Proud Hisense H9G owner here! Managed to snag one from my local best buy after them being out of stock everywhere within 250 miles for weeks and I could NOT be happier! It’s a phenomenal TV that looks top-notch, without the premium price. It’s also perfect for my new PS5 because the HDR game mode has very low latency and is indistinguishable in picture quality from the theater mode. BIG shout out to you guys again for helping make another fantastic tech purchase!!
