So you’re choosing between T-Mobile and Verizon? You’ve come to the right place! In this video i’m comparing coverage, plans, pricing, data speeds, and perks to help you decide between these major carriers. After each category, we’ll award either a carrier a star. The carrier with the most stars at the end wins!

First up we’re comparing coverage.

Before we get to that, don’t forget to Subscribe! http://bit.ly/WhistleOutYouTube
We publish two videos each week, one is always on Friday the other is normally on Wednesday.

COVERAGE | Verizon Wins!
Looking at each carrier’s coverage map you can easily see Verizon has the most Nationwide coverage. T-Mobile’s coverage isn’t bad, but it’s just not as vast as Verizon. Because of that, Verizon gets the gold star here.
Next up, we’re comparing plans!

PLANS/OPTIONS | Verizon Wins!
Verizon has 13 regular plans that range from pre-paid, pay as you go and go all the way to unlimited talk, text, and data with all the bells and whistles and T-Mobile has 7. With that said we’re going to give this to Verizon because they have nearly double the number of options.

PRICING | T-Mobile Wins!
When it comes to pricing T-Mobile is easily the winner here.
Starting with prepaid plans T-Mobile offers three different options that are all cheaper than Verizon’s cheapest prepaid option which starts at $30.
And if you want unlimited everything, unlimited talk, text, and data, T-Mobile starts at $50/month whereas Verizon starts at $65/Month.
Because of that T-Mobile gets the gold star here.

DATA SPEEDS | T-Mobile Wins!
When it comes to Data Speeds we’re turning to Ookla who tests the data speeds of the four major carriers. They found that T-Mobile has generally faster data at 30.94 Mbps where Verizon on average has data speeds of 29.45. Although Verizon is just barely slower, we’re still going to give T-Mobile the gold star here.

Consistency | Verizon Honorary Winner!
A quick side note here, Even though T-Mobile has faster average data speeds, Verizon was found to have the most consistent internet speeds. So we’ll award Verizon an honorary gold star for that.

PERKS | Verizon Wins!
The battle continues with perks, who has the best ones?
With T-Mobile’s most expensive plan you get free inflight texting, a two-screen Netflix subscription if you have 2 or more lines and t-mobile Tuesdays which gives you free or discounted products weekly.
With Verizon, you get up to 500 GB of cloud storage, free Disney + for one year, free Apple Music, and Verizon Up which gives you free and discounted products just for being a Verizon customer
Verizon offers just a bit more in terms of perks so we’re giving them the gold star.

WHO SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
My tally has Verizon as the better carrier by one star, but just because they came out on top here doesn’t mean they’re necessary for you.

For instance, if you look at T-Mobile’s plans you’ll see they are great for traveling. If you travel outside the US a lot, T-Mobile is definitely the carrier for you. Also if price is important T-Mobile is cheaper than Verizon.

Now you should choose Verizon if you want more coverage throughout the US and want consistent data speeds. Plus Verizon is good for those of you who are looking to score free Apple Music and Disney + accounts. Remember though Verizon is the most expensive carrier in the market.

  4. ramir233 on February 20, 2021 at 10:14 pm

I see a bunch of tmobile slash metropcs hooligans to stop people from jumping the Verizon bandwagon. Lol. Verizon is great and fast for me. Tmobile and metro suck

  5. Galatea on February 20, 2021 at 10:16 pm

  9. hawkdaddy64 on February 20, 2021 at 10:19 pm

VERIZON WIRELESS!!! How is it I had unlimited everything for over 5 years and yet every fucking month my bill was different? No additional purchases, no overages, no roaming fees….

My bill with T-Mobile is STATIC every single month without question.

6 Lines you lost because you can’t get your shit together!

  10. fnyack on February 20, 2021 at 10:21 pm

  13. Russell Jones on February 20, 2021 at 10:25 pm

After having both I have to say Verizon is way better

  14. SS4 guy jr on February 20, 2021 at 10:25 pm

Actually you’re wrong it’s $70 they say it’s 65 but it’s actually $70 that’s exactly how I pay and I actually have to pay an additional $7 for emergency fees that’s equivalent of $77 however if you want to compare that to Sprint that’s not that bad Sprint is $100 of unlimited data texting I’ll talk and stuff and it’s just not really worth it but then I’m going back to straight talk with straight talk is much cheaper than all of them put together which is $45 of unlimited

  15. Lacey Peacock on February 20, 2021 at 10:25 pm

Well yeah, that’s what we expected

  22. Kayla Brooks on February 20, 2021 at 10:29 pm

    Picks: Verizon

  23. Willa Jabir on February 20, 2021 at 10:33 pm

Having more plans is good? I’ve had Verizon, AT&T, Southern Linc, and T-Mobile. Had some that are now extinct. I digress. T-mobile’s price is what you pay, period. Simple plans that are what they say unlimited, they are unlimited. Verizon on the other hand is unlimited until you hit their limit. The only slow down with T-mobile is a little during rush hour. Otherwise if I us 40 GB or a month or so using 300 GB downloading different OS iso, then I still have the same service the last day of billing as the first. Honorary star my keister !!!!!
This is the first video on this channel I’ve watched. No more. Unfortunately comments and thumbs down still feed the Youtube algorithms but I couldn’t resist……

  24. john smith on February 20, 2021 at 10:34 pm

They all suck. I use verizon because they have generators at almost all of there sites so I still have service in a power outage.

  25. Santiago Jesus Gonzalez Almeida on February 20, 2021 at 10:34 pm

I think i just felt in love

  26. Mr Chicken on February 20, 2021 at 10:36 pm

It’s just that verizon is a little more reliable but t mobile still has good service and it’s cheaper

  27. Aero on February 20, 2021 at 10:38 pm

I love Verizon. I get service here in Colorado even when I’m in the middle of nowhere in the rockies 🏔 in my cabin

  28. alex Apostol on February 20, 2021 at 10:42 pm

I had T-mobile 🤮 I di the switch to VERIZON, the Verizon signal está de poca madre.
By the way nice ladie mmm 😋

  29. Native FireStar on February 20, 2021 at 10:43 pm

I only have one question for you, how much did Verizon pay you for this complete load of BS?

  30. toro azul on February 20, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Sprint was way better off without t-mobile

  31. Jones on February 20, 2021 at 10:45 pm

Don’t forget whenever you pay for Verizon yes it may be 65 bucks for everything but for each line that you have connected you have to pay an access fee your first line is $20, meaning just connect your phone to the data plan that you’ve bought for $65 you have to pay an additional $20 per month “access fee“. And that’s why I’m shopping for other carriers been with Verizon for since 2009

  32. Aleksei Doncel on February 20, 2021 at 10:46 pm

Aawwee you forgot to mention the travelers perk of T-MOBILE during the perc category, and I think its a HUGE perk in terms of value since making calls or texts abroad are pretty expensive if you don’t have the right plan and with T-MOBILE you forget about those things! Also on-flight free internet is awesome!!!! Where they charge you 20bucks per hour!! So you save more!!! Cooler than 500gbs on cloud storage which only cost you pennies if you want to pay for that… so you guessed right!! I’m with T-MOBILE lol!!

  33. Johnny Marin on February 20, 2021 at 10:47 pm

    This video sucks.

  34. Michael P on February 20, 2021 at 10:48 pm

go with t mobile verizon doesnt have good customer service u will be on hold everytime i paid my insurance 2 years phone in great shape they wont fix it and tht is why i paid 20 per month for 2 years they say its not us its them well you sent me to them i bought my phone through them ,Verizon is greedy their products are overpriced .Also when you pay for insurance they wont cover anything and that way they say they aren’t responsible blame is shifted to asurion .I bought a 600 dollar phone.2 years go by my phone looks new I take care of my things. I start having issues it makes calls by itself it erases thing its basically pushing the screen all over in random spots. I paid my insurance every month 20 dollars on time I call to get a replacement phone and no nothing, So now I have to buy a new phone Verzion helped me zero and they charged me a 20 dollar upgrade fee and also 20 dollars tax so it was 40 dollars just to get my phone shipped on top of that I have to still pay for the phone not to mention their service is way overpriced. Go with a cheaper company Verzion is bullshit .Trust me I don’t bash companies for small things I didn’t even want to type this out so don’t go through what I I have please.

    This channel is biased

  39. Rex Guzman on February 20, 2021 at 11:01 pm

But now Verizon had $39.99 200mpbs!! You better searching..

  40. techNOMAD on February 20, 2021 at 11:03 pm

You give gold star to Vzn for having more plans? Well, are they any good? Or are they just rehash? I think you should rethink your metrics on reviews.

  41. MechaMicro on February 20, 2021 at 11:05 pm

Bull shit research. The lady is definitely got pay to promote Verizon. Worst carrier ever, their SIM card is CDMA which is completely ass.

  42. Arthur Javier on February 20, 2021 at 11:05 pm

I Have been a Verizon client for 2 year,Recently I have had issues Paying my Bills Early because of certain increment on My month to month bill’s,i Have had a go at settling this issue with Verizon,i Have called attempting to look for any Help Or clarification I can get,i feel they can’t take care of me and they continue to hover me With various Customer agents whenever I call.

  43. Jim Huerta on February 20, 2021 at 11:05 pm

Bro, T mobile covers up more in Kentucky than Verizon, thats a fact.

  44. enmanuel roman on February 20, 2021 at 11:06 pm

I really like your videos but sometimes I feel you have an agenda every thing is about Verizon analyzing your use use of words at the end that’s a trigger the word cheaper is from the word cheap which in turn is associated with poverty my love not everyone is like you that can afford verizon that’s why I said about agenda I really don’t what moves you to make a comparison which is using measurements that are not reasonably applied to common people who live paycheck to paycheck I mean sounds kinda subjective the info at times I tried not tell you anything before but all your videos are so pro-verizon that I don’t even know don’t get me wrong you’re very talented and really well versed but sometimes I think your channel is only aiming rich people 😉

  45. Derek Matthews on February 20, 2021 at 11:07 pm

    This is awful.

  46. Zevi HOME on February 20, 2021 at 11:07 pm

Verizon good because they have fast 4G LTE

  47. 4u25out on February 20, 2021 at 11:07 pm

    Are you working for Verizon?

  48. jpnm81 on February 20, 2021 at 11:08 pm

Don’t forget T-Mobile customers don’t pay tax none

  49. Jimmy on February 20, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Don’t be suckered into T-Slowmo. They claim to have the best cheaper plans and it might be true but you get what you pay for. Bad service, no signal in common buildings certain outdoor malls etc. If you call customer service they will say the same crap every time "we are upgrading towers in that area" and then the call drops, its all bs! Being with them for over a year. They also tell you to buy a new phone to solve the issue, didn’t work. Save your self the trouble and go with Verizon or even Att. Stay away from T-mobile.

FYI I live in a big known city. Just sad shame on t mobile. Crap service

  50. Wolfaxsi on February 20, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Funny because my Verizon speeds have never went above 5mbps. And the stability is absolutely horrible. When I live literally a yard away from the cell tower. Switching to tmobile as soon as I get the chance. I tested the speed on my brothers phone. iPhone se 2020 (same exact phone same exact place) tmobile had 45mbps down. Verizon had 4mbps down. Fun fact the Verizon tower was way closer than the nearest tmobile tower. And I know it’s not my phone. It’s less than a month old.
