    I’m a horror addict and let’s just accept these things:

    -dying light is a toxic hellhole

    -vampyr isn’t a horror game and it’s boring as hell

    -Outlast should be here

    -Little nightmares isn’t a horror game but it’s definitely an incredibly well crafted game.

    -Oxenfree is an incredible game but isn’t scary, just intriguing

    might I recommend Silent Hill games and Murdered Soul Suspect. MSS isn’t really horror as I’d say its more thriller. check it out, its an older-ish game that was free with Gold at one point.
    oh, also Call of Cthulhu, Friday the 13th, and Maid of Sker 😎😎

    Five nights at freddys 1, 2, 3, 4 and sister location are scarier than the games on the list but Resident Evil 7 is a great mention regardless.

    If you’re playing Halo Master Chief collection and you’re playing the first three Halo games as a trilogy with Master Chief in it and you just do the missions with the flood that could be a scary game perfect for Halloween you can also do flood infestation multiplayer game types as well.

    Silent Hill 2 + 3 (although they ruined the fog)
    Darkwood
    Dead Space (1 and 2 are personal favorites)
    Friday the 13th
    Condemned: Criminal Origins
    The Park
    Slender: The Arrival
    Layers of Fear 1 and 2
    Rise of Insanity

    I thought I would man up and play a horror game, so I went with Resident Evil Biohazard. I played it during day time of course and as soon as the first major scene happened with the wife, I was like nope. I’m out. I don’t know how everyone else can play and enjoy these games?. Even Alan Wake scared me.
