I remember pre ordering the iPhone 4 and waiting a whole month for the phone. I loved it. I beat the phone up and it survived.

  22. Podtrash Radio on January 15, 2022 at 4:49 pm

This kind of makes me sad because I remember the days of the early phone market especially the iPhone 5 and just how vibrant and alive the phone market was. All of the YouTube channels making videos on great features of the new phones, the jailbreak community releasing all kinds of amazing tweaks, and it was this exciting moment for people to get iPhones during an iPhone launch. Now a new phone release is just boring and while the phones today are great and powerful they just aren’t exciting and the market is saturated with 1000s of phones.

In my opinion the best iPhone design languages were the iPhone 4S, and the iPhone 5/5S. I was so happy to see the newer iPhones to go back to the square design and abandon that ugly Android rounded edges design. I loved the iPhone 12 Pro Max and now my iPhone 13 Pro Max as it’s the ultimate package of an iPhone especially finally getting the 120Hz display. I think once they remove all the ports, remove the notch, and refine the square design they have now it’ll be an amazing device. I just wish they could make the camera bumps flush again like the iPhone 5 even though it won’t be possible without making the phone much thicker…. but the rest will be good enough.

I’m watching this on the iPhone 13 crazy how far apple has come. 😊

  24. WeaponTechX on January 15, 2022 at 4:50 pm

I still remember that I wanted a flip phone when I was a kid. Then, everyone has a phone with a touchscreen now.

  27. Kyan Hoang on January 15, 2022 at 4:55 pm

Apple got carried by Samsung during the early years.

  28. Thomas Falch on January 15, 2022 at 4:57 pm

Funny how it was bright outside in the beginning of the video and then it just got darker and darker throughout the video to at the end its almost nighttime😂

  29. Nik on January 15, 2022 at 4:59 pm

So Apple removed the charging block, increased the price of the phone, then forced you to pay for the charging brick. Fuckin Apple lol

  30. Mr Tech on January 15, 2022 at 5:01 pm

20:24 another major difference with 7 and 8 is the glass rear housing.

  33. willmill74 on January 15, 2022 at 5:02 pm

Super cool video! They should bring back the two-tone design from the first iPhone for the iPhone 14, or at least an optional/special edition version
