its still garbage edge lit, even though is qled max brightness 400 nit stupid marketing
for people who dont know what edge lit is, its basically when watching movies, the dark scenes will be dark grey instead of pure black, and you will see some light bleed backlight from the edge and where the subtitles are (if you are watching some netflix with subtitles or letter box) also the brightness is related to the HDR or atmos rating, a 400 nit brightness cannot fully display the capabilities of a HDR or atmos rated video, it needs to be 1000nits to show the full advantage of a HDR or atmos rated title on netflix or blueray. this tv here only accepts the signal fo a hdr or atmos title but it cannot display it. sooo fucking lame and misleading TV producers should be sued for doing this and most people dont even know this..

Hope the United states tcl version has different option models with android or roku & it’s competition hisense has both options & that’s smart cause many don’t buy tcl because it has only roku & want android version!!

Why not release the same US models in Europe and name them similar? Europeans watch US reviews and can’t find the equivalent TVs in their online stores… 🙁

Got C715 55" model. Picture quality is spot on (considering the price) and a crisp Android TV OS. But the white clouding in the corners is normal? It is visible even in grey backgrounds! Can this be fixed with software updates?

I’ll wait for your ultra dense MiniLED + Variable Refresh Rate + HGiG version but having both HDR 10+ and DolbyVision was very important to me.

I’ve recently bought the 55C715 and I am very satisfied. There is just one bad thing. Good design, very high sound quality, good image quality. But for some reason, movies don’t run very smooth, I can notice a lot of judder. Is there any way to reduce this, maybe with a hidden MEMC-Feature? The only option I can find is "LED Motion Clear", which does not really help and brings a lot of annoying flickering on bright images instead.
Please Help!!! This TV is so good, I don’t want to bring it back to the dealer for another model/brand!
