well im glad buying this cheap 472 lol.
I was going to buy the Huion 420 but I realised it’s terrible then I though of the h430p but it went out of stock so I was then going to buy the xp pen g430s and nowI’m getting the One By Wacom for only £5 more than the H430P
should i get wacom 472 or wacom intuos or wacom by one , i need a recomendation and i cant be bothered to watch the tier list
Which size should you get for just playing osu?

As g640s user I can say that surface becomes smoother with time

yea, so i bought the Huion 420, thinking HEY for my first tablet lets do this one, its a good price, good ratings, lets do this! it arrived today, i tried it out, already had problems trying to get it setup, it was very annoying, the smoothing on it is AWFFULLLLLL its SOOO AWFUL, i cant believe, out of all of the tablets i couldve got, i got the worse one. the literal worse one, i shouldve done my research.
edit: im returning the 420, getting the wacom 472, thank you for helping me find out what i should get lol

So I knew nothing about tablets being good/bad for osu and I wasn’t purchasing my tablet primarily for osu but as a side thing (I played on a mouse so far, I’m bad either way) but somehow I still purchased the one tablet you recommend the most – the 472, even though I actually never heard you recommend it because I only watched a few of your videos, I didn’t even notice that this is the tablet you’re using.
Also, the first tablet I ever came in contact with, my older brother’s tablet and the one I’ve used the most so far (including playing some osu with it) was the "classic WubWoofWoof tablet" – the 460. I was considering buying it as well but just like you, I couldn’t get my hands on it. I could visit my brother to play with it though. Kinda funny having access to a thing that’s not very easily gettable anymore.
i cannot express my hate for the wacom 490. A friend of mine used it for art and god, the surface was left with deep deep scars and was just not usable after like 4 or 5 times. I cannot recommend wacom to anyone their pricing is extreme
I wouldnt say the gaomon s56k is bad just because of the pen

So pat on the back to me for my first osu tablet being the h420 but still managing to pull some pretty nice plays 🤣… just bought a second table and it’s B tier so I say that’s a pretty good jump in upgrade. Let’s see how well the line friends tablet does me.

I just hit 5 digit and ive used the H420 for the last year, picking up the 472 thie chrismas cant wait
as a 490 user, I have never had a problem with it
if you use hawku drivers or devocub, the smoothing basically all goes away when you hover
I think mine is the h420 but i like it and the only thing i would change is making the pen a bit smaller
The first and only tablet I’ve ever bought is the G640S, I never realized how big the tablet is along with the pen, I never noticed the chalkboard because I hover so wow, it’s proven to be really good if you get used to it, although I might have to buy a new one because I keep slipping with the size and weight of the pen, thanks Koi 🙂

One thing to note if you’re using a Wacom CTL-4100
If you drag for any period of time, the surface does smooth out considerably and become more ‘slippery’. I have never found this to be a problem but it does mean that it is extremely difficult to increase tablet area at a later date because you end up with half the tablet with lots of friction and half with basically none. You can only really fix this with a tablet cover so I would highly recommend one.

I got a ctl472 a couple days ago to a week its quite good and budget friendly
I have a question what is better graphics tablet, Wacom CTH-480 or Wacom CTL-472

can a long time 472 owner tell me how is it? does it scratch in the long run? how often do you have to replace the pen nib? I’ve heard about these issues so I’m not sure wheter to buy one or not
