Love the show Frank, you missed 100ft Robot Golf , a great comical VR golf game that can be played with or without the PSVR and/or the move controllers

Is there any difference in performance/response between 1st Gen (ps3 move-wands) and the ones currently being bundled with the psVR? Thanks.

Is there any games that just need 2 move controllers and no headset or camera

  14. Don Carlos on January 5, 2022 at 3:26 pm

Mr Frank. Just watched your post for first time. Thanks for your input. Would you happen to know if Skyrim VR for playstation 4 is mood controller exclusive or can it be played with the dual shock. I really want to purchase a VR unit however, not sure I want to drop that much dough, if it’s not exactly what I want. I don’t play games that often, so you know the deal.

  15. Tommaso Sirigu on January 5, 2022 at 3:27 pm

There’s also Werewolves Within a VR Game were you can use the Move Controller for Gestures. Missed that Game in this Video.

  19. Clay on January 5, 2022 at 3:30 pm

Hey Frank, I’ve updated the PSVR Move game list with new releases, as well as adding in older games I originally forgot to include (like The Martian VR and Proton Pulse Plus) and fixed some mistakes on it (like Lethal VR actually requiring 2 Move controllers, and Ace Banana having a Dualshock option after all, making it part of the "optional" list). Anyway, I thought you might like to have the updated list:

    Move controllers required:

    Carnival Games VR (2)
    Fruit Ninja VR (2)
Harmonix Music VR (1 or 2) [Dualshock 4 can actually be used for certain game modes]
    HoloBall (1 or 2)
    Job Simulator (2)
    Lethal VR (2)
    O! My Genesis VR (2)
    Pixel Gear (1)
    Sports Bar VR (2)
    The Brookhaven Experiment (2)
    The Martian VR Experience (2)
VR Ping Pong (1 or 2)

Move controllers optional (can use Dualshock 4 instead):

    Ace Banana (2)
    Batman: Arkham VR (2)
    Dexed (2)
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X (1)
Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live (1)
    Hustle Kings VR (2)
I Expect You To Die (1 or 2)
    Loading Human: Chapter 1 (2)
    Perfect (1 or 2)
PlayStation VR Worlds (2) [specifically for The London Heist]
Proton Pulse Plus (1 or 2)
    Rez Infinite (1)
    Starship Disco (1 or 2)
    Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality (2)
    The Assembly (2)
    Tumble VR (1)
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (2)
    Waddle Home (2)
    Wayward Sky (2)

Anyway, it’s nice to see that you’re continuing to keep up so speedily with reviewing each new PSVR release, I appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

Move controllers without an analog stick is an epic fail! It ruined the vr experience!

  21. Radek Strážnický on January 5, 2022 at 3:31 pm

Which games is good for two players with move controller?

  22. Shalonda Dykes on January 5, 2022 at 3:31 pm

  24. fatima ebrahim on January 5, 2022 at 3:32 pm

Does trackmainia turbo need move controllers?

  25. cjplaya21 on January 5, 2022 at 3:32 pm

I got the headset and move controllers i just wish all games used them just sucks all games cant

  26. Rodovan Ra on January 5, 2022 at 3:33 pm

I just think the biggest problem is Sony did not include two controllers with the headset. I love Ps VR even tho most games so far with the exception for robinson the journey are short 10 dollar games, but more awesome games are coming like Resident Evil.

  27. Shulkaer on January 5, 2022 at 3:34 pm

but i played vr worlds only with dualshock 4

  28. LaMOi1 on January 5, 2022 at 3:37 pm

If there was a wider array of decent VR titles — the peripherals would be worth getting.

I recently bought the VR AIM controller. And it’s genuinely amazing on games like doom VR, and FarPoint and to a lesser extent borderlands.
Doom VR is incredible actually, really well done.

But like that’s about it, only a handful of games. And it was £60.

The VR move controllers in the UK are still around £60-£80, which is a lot of money. Now there is a broader selection of games that are compatible with the move controllers, but again VR has a problem with quality. There’s hundreds of games, but only really one or two are actually worth your time and are any good.

So drop in 60 to 80 quid just doesn’t seem worth it.

I’m hoping that the VR on the PS5 will be significantly better, with a broader array of proper decent VR games, and also full length games. Not just games that can be completed within an hour or two.

And I genuinely hope this because VR has such great potential! When you get a decent VR experience it Really is mind blowing. I mean this technology is truly next level stuff…

    Just got psvr

  32. Skelo on January 5, 2022 at 3:42 pm

Frank can you play rec room?

  33. Jake S on January 5, 2022 at 3:42 pm

The move controllers need a joystick! There are many VR titles that could allow more realistic movement with a joystick on one of the move controllers. I literally think this is a make a or break for the long term of the PSVR.

  34. UnknownPlayz on January 5, 2022 at 3:43 pm

Wait so you mean that i can use it without a vr headset?????

  35. Skeleporter on January 5, 2022 at 3:44 pm

    Ist suregeon simulator im vr

  44. LivSimple on January 5, 2022 at 3:58 pm

I’ve had my move controllers since PS3 and thoroughly enjoyed using them for Sports Champions, but sold the PS3 and just broke them back out for the VR and realized how much I missed using them…By the way, Sony should REALLY look into an updated VR version of Sports Champions. The precision of the move controllers in that game was ridiculous!…Move controllers ARE a must for complete immersion!

  45. Mike Griffin on January 5, 2022 at 3:59 pm

New to Vr, but so glad I bought the Skyrim bundle that included Move controllers. I will say that I think Ps5 VR NEEDS an analogue stick and ankle/leg attachments, tho.

  46. JDMAX The SimRacingCat on January 5, 2022 at 4:01 pm

Man i only have 1 move controller and lethal wont even start at all . Anyone had this issue ??

  47. Jay Hovah on January 5, 2022 at 4:01 pm

With the way the title is why wouldn’t you include games that don’t require a move controller

  48. Corey Massey on January 5, 2022 at 4:02 pm

Any game that gives you full locomotion is better with a aim or just a standard ds4 controller. My issue with the ps4 move controllers is that they suffer from the same problem they had in the ps3 era. With no clear way to control character movement, the uses and applications for the ps moves for VR will be limited. It helps that the other VR headsets have hand controllers that track movement because the ps move support is limited to games where you are standing still or games with really bad locomotion support

  49. Jim Gamble on January 5, 2022 at 4:03 pm

Hey Frank, great vid as usual. I am currently in Idaho, seeing my son who is studying over here. First port of call was Best Buy, move controllers and some rubber covers purchased for use when i return to Uk in a few days. No headsets here at all, even the move controllers are in short supply….c’mon Sony !!!!!

  50. 101Frances on January 5, 2022 at 4:03 pm

Do any of the PlayStation Now shooter games work with the Move controllers or the Aim controller?
