PlayStation Eye on PS3: Totally useless games that were kinda cool for 5 seconds.

Sony has played with camera technology in games for over a decade now. And they’ve released some very cool things, but today I’d like to take a look at the not cool things. Specifically 3 small titles Sony released for the PlayStation Eye on PS3. These things were cool, but only for 2 seconds until you realize you could have bought a McDouble for the same price.

    I always liked Eye Create.. Simple easy way to make videos for youtube.. Or recording original acoustic music.. It could be better but it aint bad

    Had the eye toy as well but rarely used it. Good thing I didn’t buy the eye toy with some pet game my little brother did for whatever reason…to me any camera motion thing that has something to do with Gaming I pretty much avoid it like crabs or herpes lol

    This is incorrect, actually: between 2007-2009 there were more than three games released to be used with the PS Eye.
    – The Eye of Judgement (you mentioned it)
    -The Trials of Topog
    – Operation Creature Feature
    – Singstar

    And a bunch more that used the PS Eye to get your face on characters, acquire textures, or create snapshots.

    Burn out paradise city had a feature where you hit another user online and it shows their screenshot or your mugshot after the hit.

    That was the best PSEYE use i have ever seen.

    Man there is so many good games for the PS3 Eye. We have Eyepet 1 plus 2, every Wonderbook game, Operation Creature Feature, The Eye of Judgement, The Trials of Topoq and the recent PS+ game Snakeball.
