Don’t make her grave recipe, ruined a good dinner about 13 years ago

  2. phronsiekeys on January 27, 2021 at 8:41 pm

Couldn’t they give her a role in The Crown? I feel certain she’d be a great long lost sister of the Queen

Love the setting of this interview. So Christmas!

My favourite Christmas Eve supper is canned tomato soup with bought but high quality crusty bread, heavily buttered. Very delicious and minimal trouble.
    Thank you for the video!

I’m one of those Xmas pudding/fruit cake haters- bless my mum, she caters for my dislike by providing a good old Aussie Pavlova!

So nice to see Nigella this Christmas! It’s not Christmas without Nigella and it’s especially nice to see her in 2020.

Why is she looking so different? Is it the eye make-up? Is it botox?

Edit: Figured it out. She’s lost a LOT of weight. It’s making her eyes look much bigger.

Re: Fussy Eaters, I totally agree with Nigella…if they have that much of an issue with the food they dont have to come…sorry but people that make an issue often dont know exactly what goes into planning a Christmas meal. A lot of time and effort goes into it.

  12. Smart Citizen on January 27, 2021 at 8:51 pm

She has had some kind of plastic surgery or something done. She has lost a lot of weight, maybe from dieting/exercising/etc, but she did it awfully fast. And her voice certainly has changed over the years. Unless she has a cold, she sounds hoarse.

For a juicy delicious turkey deep fry it! Once you do that and you will never go back. My husband deep fried our turkeys for twenty years and it was always the hit of the party. I have to do it now since his passing in 2019 but it’s not the quite the same. Still delish though. I love Nigella’s Christmas videos the best.

Could hear you talk about food forever

I don’t understand how she looks 30 years old. Somebody ask her tips on that. Down to genes and bone structure I guess. Her skin and eyes are absolutely gorgeous. Lovely way about her.

  16. M.E. Valdez on January 27, 2021 at 8:54 pm

"I don’t deal with fussy eaters!" Hear! Hear!

  17. Collette Ryder on January 27, 2021 at 8:54 pm

I met her at a book signing a couple of years ago and she is simply charming and warm and lovely, and I am so happy to share a birthday with her.

If christmas is stressing you out, you’re doing it wrong. Be like the Swedes and keep it minimal. Do only your favourite things and forget what other people are expecting from you, especially this year as most of us will be having very small intimate gatherings anyway.

ONE GREAT PIECE OF TURKEY ADVICE FROM CHEF JEAN PIERRE WAS "NEVER" LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO SAYS THE THIGH TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE 170 FOR AS IT RESTS THE TEMP WILL RISE AND DRY OUT THAT BIRD. WE BRAISE OURS AND IT NEVER TURNS OUT DRY!!

  23. Jean-François Daignault on January 27, 2021 at 9:07 pm

There’s comfort food, then there’s comfort people. Nigella is one of the latter.

  24. Sophia Hamila on January 27, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Please nigella you look so frail please put on some weight love you

  25. jane salisbury on January 27, 2021 at 9:09 pm

I don’t like people in the kitchen either so I dish out jobs (for those who want one) like ”drinks monitor”, making sure everybody stays topped up. Men love fire so I often ask one of the chaps to keep the fire going with logs. Have a great holiday.

  26. melanierosalie on January 27, 2021 at 9:09 pm

Aw she gets so excited about the vegan dishes too. How sweet!! 🙂 Love Nigella.

  27. Ursula Curtin on January 27, 2021 at 9:10 pm

I’d love to go round to Nigella’s on Christmas Eve or anytime to be fair. Great company, great food, great background music an surroundings. Bliss.

  28. Daniel in the Antipodes on January 27, 2021 at 9:12 pm

Nigella is nicer than me. I would not even consider cooking a vegan meal because I was entertaining a veganist. Let them go to a vegan restaurant for lunch or eat at home!

  29. Lady eCommerce on January 27, 2021 at 9:16 pm

I’m so pleased you made a vegan meal a pleasantry.

Nah secrete to roast potatoes is most definitely in the potato chosen. What ever you do to some they just wont crisp up and be fluffy inside. So this is the secrete. Once you have the perfect potato for them then par-boiling and roasting is just a very basic cooking skill. Shove them in and leave them, maybe turning if you feel up to it. Always put them in not flat side down so the heat can get all around em. You will know the best potato because you’ve made mash and you’ve made baked potatoes so will have some idea already what they are. These are the ones that are beautifully fluffy inside, the melt in the mouth ones. These are the giant ones that come in various varieties in different countries. Quite honestly I’ve never worked out what a waxy potato is good for other than tossing in the bin, revolting in everything including potato salad.

  32. S A Q on January 27, 2021 at 9:20 pm

I ignore fussy eaters all year round lol I tell them to go make their own meals if they’re going to complain about what I make.l 🤨

  33. C D on January 27, 2021 at 9:21 pm

Slurring her words. Either she got her teeth done and or had whatever makes her happy

Toasted panettone toasted and buttered. mmMmm….

  41. Kate Thomas on January 27, 2021 at 9:26 pm

Nigella is right. Brining the turkey over night yields the juiciest meat. Did it one year, was delicious , Last year did more traditional way, wasn’t as good, so back to the Nigella formula

  42. julie bower on January 27, 2021 at 9:28 pm

Just bring yourselves💕always the way in our home too Nigella.💐

  43. Prema Velayuthan on January 27, 2021 at 9:30 pm

You look so stunning. I have been following your cooking for 2 decades and you have inspired me to bake and cook and eat without feeling guilty.

    My favourite cook💅💅👑👑👑👑

  46. CindyRose on January 27, 2021 at 9:31 pm

A proper host would ask their guest their preferences. This way the menu has a little bit of everything to offer for everyone. Nigella is truly the queen of the 1990’s! I have been obsessed since I found her on the Style Network at Midnight in America!! Now I have all her cookbooks.

  47. Samantha Brankin on January 27, 2021 at 9:33 pm

My daughter and I love her!

  49. KCK on January 27, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Nigella is a gem. I loved her response to dealing with fussy eaters… I’m thoroughly sick and tired of adults who eat like toddlers with their self-imposed dietary restrictions (not talking of people with legitimate allergies or religious prohibitions). When I’m a guest at someone’s home, I don’t try to dictate their menu — I eat what’s served and at least pretend to enjoy it. I blame this food pickiness on why the dinner party has died.

  50. Rose P on January 27, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Hello Nigella, looking beautiful as always. I hope you’re well and doing ok xxx
