I would say more of a pain in the ass more than anything. If you can’t capture what you need with the 3 cameras on an iPhone nowadays u may want to consider another hobby or profession. 🤣
Your Canon probably has an exposure setting to average out the entire scene.
Based on this, I don’t think I will be purchasing any of these lenses.
If you’re adding a bunch of gear to your smartphone why not carry a dedicated camera?

I knew you were going to stretch the anamorphic capture instead of compress it vertically which only helps to keep spreading the error of newcomers of thinking that anamorphic or 2.39:1 gives you a bigger picture than 1.85:1. There is picture size and field of view. With anamorphic lenses you don’t get "more" picture because the sensor remains 16:9 or 1.85.1; what you get is a wider view that ends up as a squeezed image that you later COMPRESS VERTICALLY to make it look right; you DO NOT stretch it HORIZONTALLY as you showed in the video, if you do that you still have the same amount of pixels or film grain information but stretched. The same deal is with actual Film cameras; anamorphic gives you a wider view but you sacrifice top and bottom "Canvas or screen" to get that ILLUSION of a wider picture. If motion picture were painting, you paint a wider landscape on anamorphic but on a smaller canvas than 16:9. Just measure the pixels, anamorphic has the same length that 16:9 but is shorter on height, it is LESS picture. There is more to cinema that just black bars on top and bottom. Are these lens compatible with the galaxy s10+?
What’s a good way to cancel the iPhone lens distortion? On the 12, everything that’s framed outside the center quadrant gets pulled outwards. Makes me crazy especially when trying to frame people and their heads get distorted. The camera on 5S was lower but had infinitely less distortion. The 12 is a nightmare.
