DESIGN
The iPhone XR design is just great, even though it is a 2 year old phone, it looks just as good as it did 2 years ago, the iPhone XR features an edge-to-edge display with slim bezels and no Home button, instead adopting a notch and the TrueDepth camera system for Face ID, it also features the 7000 series aerospace grade aluminum frame and it has glass on the back which of course allows it to feature wireless charging.
At the front of the XR, there’s a notch that houses the TrueDepth camera system, speaker, and ambient light sensor, but other than that, the iPhone XR is all display.
CAMERA
Right, the camera, when it comes to the camera, the iPhone XR has a single lens, 12 megapixels and an aperture of f1.8 which is so good because the lower the aperture the more light goes into the camera sensor, so this means that low light pictures have a better chance.
The iPhone XR can record 4K video at 24, 30, or 60 frames per second, 1080p HD video at 30 or 60 frames per second, or 720p HD video at 30 frames per second.
It supports 1080p Slo-mo video at 120 or 240 frames per second, time-lapse video, and 1080p and 720p cinematic video stabilization.
DISPLAY
The iPhone XR is equipped with the most advanced LCD in a smartphone, which features several technological advancements to make it larger than ever.
This screen does not have the better specs out there, but it is GOOD, and the iPhone XR’s display supports many of Apple’s technology advancements including Tap to Wake to activate display with a single tap, a swipe-based gesture system to replace the Touch ID Home button, True Tone for matching the white balance of the display to the ambient lighting, and wide color for vivid, true to life colors.
PERFORMANCE
When it comes to performance, Inside the iPhone XR, we find the A12 bionic chip which is quite powerful and allow this phone to have incredible features like Smart HDR for the camera and the super easy to use Face ID, the A12 chip is gonna future proof the iPhone XR for at least 3 or 4 more years, so you don’t have to worry about this phone slowing down any time soon.
BATTERY LIFE
Now this is the thing that I was the most impressed with, when I first got this phone, of course I knew of the incredible battery life and that the iPhone XR had the longest battery life of any iPhone at the time of its introduction, although that’s no longer the case, of course now the battery is old now and the maximum capacity is at 89% but I still very easily get all day battery life and honestly ever since I got this phone that is something that I just stopped worrying about altogether.
Also, the iPhone XR is fast-charge capable, which means it can be charged to 50 percent battery life in just 30 minutes. Something that can be very helpful when you’re short on time.
IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT?
After 2 years of use, I have one complaint and it is my only complaint, the top speaker, it just sounds so bad, it sounds super distorted and not as loud as it once was, it happened a couple of months ago and when it happened i noticed it right away, because something that I really enjoyed about this phone was the incredible surround sound.

IS IT WORTH IT?
If you want my honest opinion, that is, YES, it is so worth it, now more than ever, the iPhone XR is cheaper than ever and as good as ever, so if you thinking about getting one and the whole reason you’re watching this video is because of that, GO FOR IT. I’ve been with an iPhone XR for 2 years and the iPhone 12 lineup is great and beautiful but honestly I’m not even thinking about upgrading, not even close, there has not been a good enough reason to upgrade this phone, and I think this phone is going to be so good for another 3 or 4 years, easily.
