iPhone SE (2020) Review: everything you need

Apple’s new iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch screen and it has the most powerful phone processor, the A13 Bionic. The camera is good in bright light but needs some work in low light. Overall at $399, this phone is one of the best values around. Plus, it should get iOS software updates for many years.

I already sell my iPhone 12 mini after two months, because I was so tired to use code because of the wearing facemask. Now I have SE 2020 And I’m happy with TouchID. Only miss better camera, but I can live with it. Maybe when the Covid pandemia will be over I will buy again iPhone with FaceID. But for now I’m grateful for SE 2020 ❤️

I have the new iPhone SE 2k20 black with 64GB and in my opinion this phone is awesome. 🙂

I like the SE because I can put it in a holster and wear it on my belt.
The tablet sized telephones that manufacturers are pushing are utterly useless to men, because we cannot carry them.

    Which do you suggest?

Need a rugged version! Main reason I’ll never have an iphone.

  21. Liusila on February 7, 2021 at 9:35 pm

It’s like iPhone 6s but without the headphone jack and improved software. Not worth £400 as a software update to my current old phone.

  27. Raul Tovar on February 7, 2021 at 9:43 pm

I bought the iPhone 11 because I wanted the wide screen camera, but even though it’s kinda cool I never used it. Other cons: face id was a pain with a (covid) mask, it was heavy. Sold it and bought an iPhone SE for $250 on ebay. Apple supports it for five years that means I’m only paying $50 a year for a phone! Camera is great, especially the video. Saved a bunch of money & i get to stay in the ios ecosystem.

  28. Sgt Smokey on February 7, 2021 at 9:43 pm

I have this and a Samsung A51. I just don’t understand the point of most things. All these features and capabilities. But all it boils down to when your bored of everything. Is social media, messengers, phone calls and fact checking your friends.

I have two phones because I use those food courier delivery apps as a second job, when I am not software engineering, I run both apps at the same time and manage them both at the same time. So for a nerd with a degree in video games programming and a masters in technology management. I really haven’t ever cared for the latest technology, but more leaning towards the sub standard technology. My phone is full of screenshots I use for notes and reminders. I dont care about the camera lol

Video panning looked a bit jerky.

  33. Hey Dude on February 7, 2021 at 9:47 pm

My only issue with it is the little bitty 1800 mah battery. I’m afraid degradation would come quick on this little guy.
    Otherwise i love it.

  34. Ruby Almondside on February 7, 2021 at 9:49 pm

I am really hoping to get this phone but my parents both have androids (oppos) and i have one as well, the oppo has’t been holding up too well, does anyone have any tips on convincing my parents to let me buy this phone for myself?

  35. QueenUnicorn on February 7, 2021 at 9:50 pm

Do you have to have your wifi one to send texts or use bluetooth headphones & pictures.

  42. Skylar Watkins on February 7, 2021 at 9:56 pm

I just ordered an SE and I’m so excited , I’ve had a 6s for almost 2 years and I’m so pumped for an awesome upgrade🙌🏻

  43. Zach on February 7, 2021 at 9:56 pm

I’m coming from an old budget Samsung I paid less than $100. This’ll be my first iPhone. I just wanted something that syncs with my iMac after all these years.

  44. David Chatterton on February 7, 2021 at 9:59 pm

$400 for a phone made in China that probably cost Apple $30 tops to make is a rip off in my book. I always buy them used and stay slightly behind in terms of GEN. Currently I use an iPhone 6S Plus. Big phone, works great. But if you just gotta have those extra meaningless doodads in your phone, step right up sucker.

  45. Bruce Lee on February 7, 2021 at 10:01 pm

I grabbed one of these when my oneplus 6t died / bricked! 🙁 being used to previous iPhones like the 5s and 3GS I had before I felt right at home going back to this. It’s cheap, fast and all you really need. Again iPhone in general lasts longer and is kept updated longer than comparable android phones. But it’s smaller so felt like a bit small when coming from my oneplus. But I’ve got used to it and the battery isn’t as long lasting as a comparable android but it’ll do.

  46. Dan Kristiansson on February 7, 2021 at 10:01 pm

Does the iphone batteries still dies after 1,5 to 2 years and in mildly cold climates?

I currently have a Moto G Power and I love the phone, from the screen to phone ratio to the three cameras on the back, and the great battery. But I need to switch to an iPhone for work. I wanna feel comfortable about my purchase and that I’m not downgrading entirely but I’m still undecided lol HELP

  49. Okakwa George on February 7, 2021 at 10:03 pm
