burh se 2 must be the worst phone i’ve ever owned.

I just got an SE 2020 this past weekend because it was on sale at Cricket for $50. $175 out the door with a $60 plan and activation and taxes. If you can get it for that, it’s an unbeatable deal. Battery life still isn’t too great but nothing a battery case won’t solve. Me personally I prefer Touch ID over Face ID. I’ve also noticed both sound and calls are much louder on the SE 2 than the iPhone 13 mini I have. Definitely will be selling the 13 mini and keeping the SE 2. I got it in white. I do think people obsess too much on cameras. I find it’s as great as any current iPhone. I literally couldn’t tell much of a difference taking a selfie on the SE versus the iPhone 13 mini. If you can get it on sale like I did I think this phone is an excellent value.

  3. german elias on May 19, 2022 at 9:22 pm

There’s not gonna be a 14 mini, because it’s going to be the new SE

  4. Stooch on May 19, 2022 at 9:22 pm

absolutely no reason to own a more expensive phone than the se,

that’s why i wait for the refurbished ones after about 2 years.

i got the original se more than 4 years ago for 80$

i still use the first se just fine, but with the cost of replacing the screen and battery

i might as well get a refurbished gen 2

  5. kip dokken on May 19, 2022 at 9:23 pm

iphone se 2 crap phone. you can buy a an android with better specs at lesser price.

  6. Buff Garfield on May 19, 2022 at 9:25 pm

It would be if it kept the headphone jack. And honestly, it should have since it’s targetted at budget consumers rather than those who want air pods pro. But because it’s missing the jack it’s just an underwhelming piece of garbage with giant bezels and a tiny screen.

I like ur review. Very honest

Most tech review. I’m not sure if they dont want to piss off apple or fans.
They always make it sound so Wishy washy like
If u don’t like it it’s not for u. It’s still good for what it is
Like they want to say don’t buy it but don’t want to say it out loud

Which I agree if the price is more reasonable but for most ppl who want cheap or smaller phone, they are better off long term to save for mini or even 12
    Especially with deals and contracts

  8. radioactivedarkness on May 19, 2022 at 9:27 pm

Honestly, I just got one, and that’s only because my iPhone 7 just took a fatal dip in the pool (thanks, 9 year old kid up the street). The battery life is a non-issue, but i think it works great as the best bang for your buck refurbished for ~200 ish.

  9. Dylan C on May 19, 2022 at 9:27 pm

haha i bought one of these for work (lots of standby) and i bought it for 180$ and it has 85% health left, it works fine. the big advantage of this phone is if the battery ever gets too bad then i can replace it quite easily and cheaply

  10. elchamber on May 19, 2022 at 9:28 pm

I think the iPhone SE now suck and the new one will too. Everything about it is great, but one feature makes it suck.

  11. Mohammed Abbas on May 19, 2022 at 9:28 pm

From future and apple announcement the same iphone se (2022) with A15 chip 😂

  12. Johnny Trejo on May 19, 2022 at 9:29 pm

it’s already here! the 3rd Gen iPhone SE and I still have the original SE from 2016. and it still works , for me and I don’t load it up with so many apps like everyone does. and the camera is still fine , but that’s me. I will skip the Gen 2 for the iPhone SE 3rd gen this summer. because it will be 5G capable. But it’s my personal preference. By still rocking the 1st Gen SE 👍🏼

  13. J. B. on May 19, 2022 at 9:29 pm

The intro music is so good haha nostalgic feel. Also I like how calm your voice is. I got this phone in new condition for 250.

  14. Stooch on May 19, 2022 at 9:29 pm

please tell me what anyone needs an expensive phone for?

if you like taking pictures, why don’t you buy a camera?

if you are conducting business, why don’t you have a computer or at the least a tablet?

  15. Kingkai303. on May 19, 2022 at 9:30 pm

To be honest you should just buy the car or the x it around the same price and it has Face ID

  16. Gilberto on May 19, 2022 at 9:31 pm

This phone is perfect for my mother. I bought it for her when it first came out and she still loves it. She loves the button, she never wanted for the best features she just wanted a new iPhone and she loves how small it is even though she has the text size cranked up. Her battery life is starting to tank, but she still loves it.

  17. Ranja on May 19, 2022 at 9:34 pm

Imagine holding a phone with front buttons in 2022 just because it has an apple logo on it …

  18. Haidar Ali Jawadi on May 19, 2022 at 9:34 pm

iPhone SE 2 is good but the battery 🔋 could be better

  19. Vesselin Krastev on May 19, 2022 at 9:34 pm

I’m not following the industry that closely nowadays so I was a bit surprised when I heard that they’d be releasing a 2022 version with the same chassis. I thought that Apple had cheaped out. But I guess you’re right that there’s a market for a phone like this and many people will probably still buy it and will be perfectly happy with it. I still think that they cheaped out tho 😄

  20. Dylan on May 19, 2022 at 9:35 pm

Can get an iphone se for $150 over $400

  21. JimBrownski on May 19, 2022 at 9:36 pm

I just got mine in February 2022 for only $200- iPhone 11s are nowhere near that cheap from carriers new. If you buy this at $400- he’s right you are a fool. Boost gives this phone to new customers for like $50. At $50?! This is the greatest phone ever lol. For 200 or less it’s a great value phone

  22. Algirdas Stasiukaitis on May 19, 2022 at 9:40 pm

I switched Android phone:-( I came to Apple Iphone 13 Max Pro:-) why? No.1 The batteries in android phones are very poor. No.2 Android phones can catch a virus and anti-virus programs do nothing but steal your personal data.No.3 Android phones have a problem with the screen.No.4 Android phones can brag with their cameras but filming the Iphone still has a lot of experience and a well-known Apple company shares its experience through its built in cameras. Here are four things why I switched to an iPhone:-)

  23. A frickin taxi on May 19, 2022 at 9:40 pm

Tell me I m not only one android user here

  24. ItsJustMirko on May 19, 2022 at 9:41 pm

my company gave these to us as work phones, im surprised how fast and usable these are. Doesnt feel any slower than my iPhone 12 tbh

  25. DFWulf on May 19, 2022 at 9:41 pm

I love the fact that you took your time to explain everything into details

  26. ItzOwl on May 19, 2022 at 9:41 pm

I just got mine from my dad I am saving up for an 11 because of the battery life but it’s pretty good

  27. Piipoo147 on May 19, 2022 at 9:42 pm

the se 2020 used is about 200€ so its definitely worth it

  28. DAVID SUMMERS on May 19, 2022 at 9:44 pm

Just purchased two of these for $160 each on eBay. Upgrading my parents 6 and 6S, should be quite an upgrade.

  29. RG n1 on May 19, 2022 at 9:46 pm

    Lol

  30. Ricardo Nieves on May 19, 2022 at 9:48 pm

If apple were to realese a new se I would honestly gun for iPhone 11 users and buyers by making a phone with a XR or 11 design and camera but with the processor of the iPhone 13

  31. Frank White on May 19, 2022 at 9:49 pm

I just bought a IPhone SE 2nd gen after hating the Samsung s21 ultra. I have no regrets. It has the loudest speaker and has an ear piece where your ear is rather than up the top and expecting your ear to carry the noise. It’s simple, but just so functional

  32. emailmydoc on May 19, 2022 at 9:49 pm

I liked my iphone 8–it fit in my hand which is not huge (but not mini either) and I was very used to the home button so when it suddenly died on me I looked for a clone and came up in 2021 with this SE being reviewed. And I could not be happier. If I have any complaint its not with the phone its with the constant ios updates that change my phone into a different phone that requires new learning. It’s like when my lovely cleaning lady finishes cleaning and I go to find anything, it’s not there anymore. I am grandpa age but I like to think I am young at heart and mind. I use my iphone to do something almost unheard of (excuse the pun)…I use it to call people and OK to text them. No games, no movies, I have not surrendered my real life and surroundings to a little box. I do use it to google. I find that very helpful. I use it in the car for directions. I find that very helpful. Except for the last function which is used in my case by plugging it into my car, the rest do indeed suck juice out of the battery. However, it is rare that I run out of said juice if I charge it overnight. And did I mention the home button? It’s…homey. And I am content.

  33. OCDgamer on May 19, 2022 at 9:50 pm

Bought the iPhone se gen 2 today…wish me luck with this phone. I’ve always been an android guy but couldn’t resist this phone for 99.99

  34. Madhav jayswal on May 19, 2022 at 9:53 pm

I’m using in the iPhone SC second generation and I had no problem so I think I’m gonna stay because I don’t want to upgrade right now because I have all my games no it’s totally fine so I’m not gonna spend my money

  35. Grandmaster Yoda on May 19, 2022 at 9:53 pm

I had the SE for a year and couldn’t stand the battery. I got myself a 13 and won’t get another phone for 4-5 years. I loved the retro design, finger print sensor, and the size. Unfortunately, the battery life is just not worth it.

  36. Gandy 2 on May 19, 2022 at 9:55 pm

Seriously if they make another se version, they should make 8 plus design with 13 inside, I would buy that so fast

  37. Sandra Perez on May 19, 2022 at 9:57 pm

I don’t like small phones. I use the iPhone 13 Pro Max but I am aware that this iPhone has its users, who use it every day and are satisfied with it. Apple is classic and this is a classic iPhone. Apple will sell them like hot cakes with butter. This fast.

  38. Shizon84 on May 19, 2022 at 9:58 pm

I think that the battery health, I think you could hold of on replacing the battery until its health reaches 59% or lower. 80% is still good.

  39. Outerspaces on May 19, 2022 at 10:00 pm

    I love it

  40. ASAP_Zonk on May 19, 2022 at 10:02 pm

I had the SE since launch. I just for a new one yesterday since my old one somehow it’s back cracked I have apple care + so it was only $100 way worth it then upgrading and paying $550+. I will wait until the SE+ comes out in 2023.

  41. Minerva Owl on May 19, 2022 at 10:02 pm

When I go into rages about how shockingly stupid my SE is, "Siri" says, "I don’t know how to respond to that," and I scream, "Shut up, you miserable imbecile!" and she always does.

  42. Abel Corona on May 19, 2022 at 10:03 pm

I am actually thinking of going back to this design. It is easier to use and navigate with one hand. Also, part of it is me just being nostalgic for simpler times.

  43. 91Tech on May 19, 2022 at 10:03 pm

There’s a good chance a new iPhone SE hits this Spring- but whether it does or doesn’t, the current SE 2 just isn’t great value when the much better iPhone 11 is only $100 more. This is the perfect phone for a certain type of person, but I’d definitely wait and see what happens with the potential SE 3.

  44. Kiril Raychev on May 19, 2022 at 10:06 pm

Recently switched to IPhone 7 from an Android phone and it’s a holding out good for it’s age,but I’ll really appreciate better chip and faster charging,I think it’s a good value phone for about half of the original price nowadays. It’s a bit strange coming from an Android user,as I was used to near 7 inch screen, but I really like the form factor and it’s a good thing to know that Apple would support it for years to come.

  45. Sopek on May 19, 2022 at 10:09 pm

    Im using Iphone 8. FeelsBadMan

  46. Miguel Villegas on May 19, 2022 at 10:09 pm

I’ve had the iPhone SE since August and it’s been good for me mostly overall but the battery sometimes through out the day can be inconsistent, sometimes it can have random drops

  47. Haymaker on May 19, 2022 at 10:10 pm

How is the battery drain when idle or streaming music in background?

  48. Dabs_Rulez on May 19, 2022 at 10:11 pm

This was the best iPhone since it brought back home button and had internals of iPhone 11

  49. Md Tuhin on May 19, 2022 at 10:11 pm

I phone SE 2 2020 software update 2022 year date

  50. Brendan Hagan on May 19, 2022 at 10:12 pm

I bought the iPhone SE to replace my iPhone 6s about a month ago. It has been terrific! The only somewhat downside is the battery. But that’s it, it does almost everything my sisters iPhone 13 pro does! 👍
