  6. Corporate Lifestyle on July 26, 2021 at 9:10 pm

    You forgot about Sagem,
If Siemens is returning to the market, they can survive with Android, as in premium segment only Samsung is the key player, Siemens has good brand value, on par with Samsung

  7. Kicapan Manis on July 26, 2021 at 9:12 pm

Fairphone is extremely for what you get especially 3 she it was released. I rafher buy an Unfairphone with better specs and prices.

A relatively big german Tech youtuber tested a Wiko phone once. The one he tested was crap with a weak battery. Gosh, that battery was a joke.

I want to watch his video again, seeing him raging on tech is fun.

  17. RandomRush on July 26, 2021 at 9:26 pm

    Samsung is shit

  18. Juan Valdez on July 26, 2021 at 9:26 pm

I love Nokia and Fairphone! They’re amazing phone brands!

  20. Alice TheAlien on July 26, 2021 at 9:27 pm

What’s with the Siemens-strategy? They are changing from "Made in China" to "Made in Germany". Yes, something like the Snapdragon-SoC still produce in China but Siemens try to produce so much they can in Germany.

  21. Mark Moreno on July 26, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Wait! I thought you said Nokia was bought out by an american company called Microsoft. So then how can it make a European comeback?

  22. Juan Valdez on July 26, 2021 at 9:29 pm

    Anything British willspy

  23. Cola Gesicht on July 26, 2021 at 9:29 pm

  25. Ines Junge on July 26, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Hi! I am enjoying several of your knowledgable videos these days, researching about the "business cases" within (more) sustainable mobile phones, such as the Fairphone. Am curious whether you would want to create another video about such (relatively sucessful or given-up) start-ups in Europe (say Shiftphone in Germany, and Finnish Puzzlephone that did not get the crowdfunding right) and why it is so damn hard to enter the market or win (a decent) market share. Might be modularity comes in back-door despite the earlier "modular phones’ fail", as soon as more consumers (and designers) are convinced of better repairability and upgradability? Best regards, Ines

    RIP Siemens

  27. Mike H on July 26, 2021 at 9:34 pm

Just don’t use android or ios and people will buy them.

  28. Archie Feld on July 26, 2021 at 9:36 pm

  29. Subramanian Rajaseshan on July 26, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Ask the to look at India..fair phone particularly

  30. Jakab Botond Béke on July 26, 2021 at 9:43 pm

Man I love your videos. They’re informative and what not but I’m just in love with the whole ambience with the lofi intro the lighting and the plants:D Always having a chill ass time here

  31. Kandesbunzlerin Merkela Angel on July 26, 2021 at 9:44 pm

Great video! However, I’d like to add that Fairphone has a competitor now: the German company Shift produces "Shiftphones" that are also modular and have better hardware than Fairphone, but they are much more expensive.

However, I have already decided that once my old phone stops working, I’ll buy one of these!

  32. Michael G Benk on July 26, 2021 at 9:44 pm

If European companies offer Sailfish, Linux and non Android phones, then that will be an advantage over other companies which only offer Android

  33. Shubhasi Gupta on July 26, 2021 at 9:47 pm

    Make nokia great again

  34. Anik Samiur Rahman on July 26, 2021 at 9:48 pm

Before this video was published and before I managed to go to known retailer shops last year, all the Nokia phones were sold in my country! And I live in a 3rd world country.

  35. Ved Aryan on July 26, 2021 at 9:48 pm

    Nokia squandered the opportunity.

  36. Juan Valdez on July 26, 2021 at 9:50 pm

Xiamie is loaded with spy softwares

  37. विजय जैन on July 26, 2021 at 9:51 pm

Liked the concept of Fairphone. Nokia is just a dying brand again. In India, Nokia is launching handsets which are competitively two to four years old.

  38. Mkhl90 Xmas on July 26, 2021 at 9:51 pm

I had a Wiko (Jerry) in 2017. Pretty solid. Actually survived from a car accident. Low price, reliable and decent photo too.

  39. Flavio Herrera on July 26, 2021 at 9:51 pm

    ? Really

  40. Zazatava 90 on July 26, 2021 at 9:52 pm

European phonemaker can’t peneratate Asia, cuz price/spec ratio is very critical, unless they replicate Xiaomi business model. We have been pampered by cheap good spec phone, that’s why LG , RIM, HTC and soon Sony lose.

  41. Jaggu J on July 26, 2021 at 9:53 pm

    Nokia can lead.

  42. Yassine Saïdi on July 26, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Fast forward 2021 and it seems Nokia has met the challenge with success.

  43. Juan Valdez on July 26, 2021 at 9:54 pm

LG in my opinion is a 4×4
    Tough phone

  44. Meitri Syani on July 26, 2021 at 9:55 pm

  49. Jeeban Gurung on July 26, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Good news for consumers. More production mean more competition. Low price high features fones are available for consumers.
