Chrono Cross’s mistakes are in the story department. A fanficiton focusing on OCs.

  2. carlos galeote gandara on March 22, 2022 at 5:38 pm

Why mention FPS? Back in the day nobody talked about it,basically because nobody knew about FPS anyway.
Bringing FPS to a PS1 video looks so out of place and fake. Seems like a shoutout to fortnite kids

  3. Shiroumx M on March 22, 2022 at 5:38 pm

i always hated about PS1 was how everything trembled…nasty

  4. meltech357 on March 22, 2022 at 5:43 pm

Bust a mover/groove 2 should be in this list

  5. FoalanAzrael on March 22, 2022 at 5:43 pm

You get a like for even acknowledging The Legend of Dragoon my friend.

  6. Nesa on March 22, 2022 at 5:43 pm

And now compare these games to todays. Its only been 20 years and the progress is unimaginable.

  7. Myrtis Taylor on March 22, 2022 at 5:43 pm

I’m suprised nuclear dawn wasn’t on this list! Not only is it a pretty underrated rated game but the graphics for it being ps1 looked pretty damn good

  8. Mc Carthy on March 22, 2022 at 5:43 pm

Remember the 60fps mode sort of hidden in Gran Turismo? 👌 Tekken 3 blew me away when I first booted it up. Especially since I was so used to Tekken 2. (Shout out to a nigh perfect Virtua Fighter 2 on Saturn… Am2 were wizards for that machine.)

  9. androi de Pc Soluziones!!! on March 22, 2022 at 5:44 pm

ok bro, they are still original, in ps1 physics they are less original, thanks to the emulator we can better determine what a game is like, since at that time we did not have hd and thanks to the emulator we can assess its true stretched technique more in depth, why These games were created stretched as you see it in the emulator, the hd brings us closer to their true roots the pc 3d studio where they were created, there were super saw teeth and trembling textures hehe, this is original, a emulator,,
    😉👌🌟✋😅✋😎

  10. david w on March 22, 2022 at 5:45 pm

space invaders for ps1 also looks great like einhander

  11. ryan derksen on March 22, 2022 at 5:47 pm

Chrono Cross is probably my favorite RPG of all time . I would love to see a next gen remaster or even a remake would be okay . I am probably going to try to make my own at some point just got to find some people that want to help me . I can not do it all by myself . As for games that I would like to see remakes or remasters for Shadow Hearts 1 , 2 , and 3 . Koudelka and there are more but I am drawing a blank . A graphically impressive ps1 game was Soul Blade .

  12. Nebu Jin on March 22, 2022 at 5:48 pm

Since you show emulated footage. Those Games look even better with DuckStation, If PGXP Filters are active. Nomore glitching polygons, nomore wierdly moving/clipping etc. Its like playing a solid Remaster. Edit: And thanks for the Video of course! I forgot, we use(d) to have mannors.

  13. Ren on March 22, 2022 at 5:48 pm

Disney’s Hercules had terrific quality animation and textures for a 1997 ps1 game.

  14. Matt Owens on March 22, 2022 at 5:50 pm

Einhander was fucking phenomenal and left a mark on me that can’t be traced by any game made after it. Love it.

  15. Steven Go on March 22, 2022 at 5:54 pm

How come Parasite Eve II and Ace Combat 3 didn’t include in this lists ?

  16. P Wilson on March 22, 2022 at 5:57 pm

Brilliant video – you are very knowledgeable and this is lovingly put together – a pleasure to watch – well done mate! 👍👍👍

  17. leo limas on March 22, 2022 at 5:57 pm

For me I was all about resident evil 2 played it over and over again my sister would watch me but after that silent hill came out I got into that

  18. saeklin on March 22, 2022 at 5:59 pm

Yeah, PS1 games definitely benefit from the graphic enhancements that emulation provides. FF9 actually looks legible!

  19. Hades Eye on March 22, 2022 at 6:01 pm

    3:24 Da HIPS!!!

  20. bill jackson on March 22, 2022 at 6:02 pm

Gran Turismo 2 had my jaw on the floor. Absolutely unbelievable

  21. Jarred Grondein on March 22, 2022 at 6:04 pm

    Sir spooks, is that you?

  22. JPTransition on March 22, 2022 at 6:06 pm

Well Crash Bandicoot used a technique that is still used today. The game was constantly loading and dumping, hence why the PS1 was so darn loud playing it. Also end life cycle games like Parasite Eve 2 or Dino Crisis 2 look near early PS2 at times.

  23. Benny Costello on March 22, 2022 at 6:07 pm

Metal gear solid was definitely the first movie game I played, and their mouths don’t even move lol

  24. Angelfish Time on March 22, 2022 at 6:08 pm

I really miss playing Grand Turismo 2

  25. AJ Haynes on March 22, 2022 at 6:08 pm

    Fantastic 4 was as well.

  26. marcvaldelara on March 22, 2022 at 6:09 pm

    Legend of mana is timeless.

  27. Mitch James on March 22, 2022 at 6:09 pm

Metal Gear Solid is my favourite game of all time, I replayed that games so many times.

  28. tr3vk4m on March 22, 2022 at 6:10 pm

All PS1 games make my eyes hurt. And all the loading is atrocious.

  29. Lord Terra on March 22, 2022 at 6:10 pm

I cannot believe Codename Tenka or Alien Ressurection didn’t make this list! Check those out sometime.

  30. Erik W on March 22, 2022 at 6:13 pm

Any PS1 best graphics list that leaves off Parasite Eve 2 is invalid. You also left out Crash Bandicoot 3. Using upscaled emulation is also in poor taste.

  31. TheCynicalA**Slayer on March 22, 2022 at 6:13 pm

How come Silent Hill is not on the list?

  32. crazyewolf on March 22, 2022 at 6:13 pm

Gungage and star ocean the second story was amazing also

  33. The Almighty Mr. Bennett on March 22, 2022 at 6:13 pm

Metal gear solid was 1998 not 2001

  34. E M H on March 22, 2022 at 6:14 pm

    4:02 GTR R34 in ps1 😎😎😎

  35. androi de Pc Soluziones!!! on March 22, 2022 at 6:14 pm

I saw some surreal comments, because the resolution is not linked to the design, the design is spectacular without having ka resolution, what happens is that if a good design you raise it in resolution, the result is what we see here, not really the originality is removed because it is as if they were all ported to another better console,
true , yes broh ,PS1 gamesGraphically impressive

  36. EBE 7 on March 22, 2022 at 6:17 pm

No love for Crash Bandicoot? I didn’t care so much for the game but the graphics were a technical marvel for PS1

  37. JustRon on March 22, 2022 at 6:20 pm

Add Parasite Eve 2 to the list

  38. R3TЯ0-93 on March 22, 2022 at 6:20 pm

PS1 had the best graphics for the 90s/2000s

  39. XCL4M4t10N on March 22, 2022 at 6:20 pm

-Makes a top of graphical impressive games.
    -Use emulator and filters.

Now that’s what a call a stupid guy.

  40. Onetnec Ghoti on March 22, 2022 at 6:24 pm

i slept on vagrant story, wow! that is a beautiful game. if i played this when it came out, the cutscenes alone would have me crap myself!

  41. Arthur Dergilev on March 22, 2022 at 6:25 pm

Thank you for your video! Now I know more about ps1 games 🙂

  42. GamerbyDesign on March 22, 2022 at 6:25 pm

I wouldn’t call pre rendered backgrounds graphically impressive on a 3D system.

  43. Psycho Machinery on March 22, 2022 at 6:27 pm

Legend of Dragoon & FF IX 👍🏻😎

  44. HoobriBoobri on March 22, 2022 at 6:28 pm

This list int good without Apocalypce (real video on big screens of marvelous futuristic city, and other crazy stuff) ans Parasite Eve 2 with just stanning cg background effects!

  45. Greg Jones on March 22, 2022 at 6:30 pm

You are using emulated games… shame on you

  46. Arthur Dergilev on March 22, 2022 at 6:32 pm

Ridge Racer Type 4 impressed me a lot, I played this on epsxe on android 🙂

  47. Colin Newman on March 22, 2022 at 6:33 pm

The day I got grand turismo on the PS1 was an amazing moment.

  48. dragonball and honkai impact enjoyer on March 22, 2022 at 6:34 pm

Ive never seen such a great channel with so much appreciation for these games

  49. Theodore Jenkins on March 22, 2022 at 6:35 pm

"though graphics should be the least important factor in what constitutes a good game"

LOVE IT MAN KEEP SPEAKING THE TRUTH. I AM SO SICK OF MOVIE GAMES. No gameplay just good graphics so therefor great game. I feel so bad for this new generation of gamers. Lied to and convinced that if a game ahs bad graphics then its bad which is just so untrue it really makes you sad to hear it. Keep speaking the truth my man. I just subscribed because of that line. You clearly know whats up so you’re worth a sub.

  50. Xerachiel on March 22, 2022 at 6:36 pm

It doesn’t make sense to show emulated, higher resolution with filtered textures, in a "graphically impressive ps1 games" video.

You are not showing how good they looked on the ps1.

    Failed video
