GhostBSD is a user-friendly desktop operating system based on TrueOS (which is, in turn, based on FreeBSD’s development branch). The project’s goal is to create an easy-to-use and familiar workspace that can be used at home or office and for data rescue. GhostBSD supports a number of popular lightweight desktop environments, including MATE, Xfce. It also provides FreeBSD’s package management system, LibreOffice, LibreCAD, and Eclipse/Anjuta development environments for C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Jala and Python.

I can boot the Live Image fine but have tried numerous installations and on reboot is freezes at the GhostBSD splash screen, no key presses work and needs a power off reboot. The installation is to an entire disk, says installation successful (tried it a few times) but it hangs on the splash screen.

I have ghostbsd on three different computers: a Lenovo t460 all-in-one desk top, a Lenovo Yoga 12 laptop, and a new fanless i7 mini desktop. All using a HP 1022 LaserJet printer.
Was previously using Linux mint, this is better.
    Thanks for this awesome OS.
