"young" group of appliances? Um, the internet fridge is 16+ years old. I know, I worked one: http://money.cnn.com/2000/10/06/technology/cisco_house/

That samsung Fridge with the split "french" freezer no thanks. Like I eat t to get on my knees and hands.

  4. billkex on January 7, 2021 at 3:02 am

Avoid Samsung fridges…parts are very expensive and typically take 3-4 weeks when you need parts. After warranty expires it is a nightmare.

    what about ice dispensers?

How about a fridge that lasts and doesn’t need a repairman to show up within the first year of owning that fridge. I am sick of appliances with all these great features but are incapable of doing the one thing they are meant to do.

Next they’ll have self cleaning fridges.

The smart capability is impressive. Add voice command to that and you got Star Trek type stuff. Can finally tell my fridge, "tea, earl grey, hot."

I’d like a clearly viewable rating of the water filter, lifespan and replacement cost.

What about so much doors, like the KitchenAid 5 door fridge

  15. Aditya Santhanam on January 7, 2021 at 3:22 am

Do not buy this bad technology that is unnecessary and breaks down.

  16. Резерв on January 7, 2021 at 3:25 am

No frost supposed to be at the top of the list.

  17. SuchtFaktorHoch10 on January 7, 2021 at 3:36 am

You forgot no frost. Never ever without it again.
Plus your last feature is also on the list of your video about features to avoid where it actually belongs. Smart fridges no thanks. The tvs with those kind of features are obsolete fast enough because of non working or really bad apps.

I love that #2 and #5 are also on their list of 5 things you shouldn’t want in a fridge haha

Keurig has the distinction of making the top five and worst five. Personally, as many Keurigs as I’ve blown thru in recent years, that’s one feature I wouldn’t want, bricking my fridge🙄

  20. themrjones on January 7, 2021 at 3:40 am

what about a fridge that can make a perfect slushy out of any can or bottle, maybe even something in a cup. there needs to be a slushie option that is the number one feature everybody wants.

Why add unnecessary features to a large appliance? A coffee maker? Buy a small coffee maker, (or coffee pot), that can be easily replaced; a malfunctioning coffee maker attached as a part of the fridge will require a service call for a major appliance? A water dispenser? Nice, but wouldn’t a small water cooler do just as well, (for a few hundred dollars less on the price tag). Stupid waste!
