I told them I was storing the car and would not use it.

SIRIUSXM is a SCAM. I had my vehicle stolen. My insurance company asked to subscribe to SiriusXM Guardian Assist to see if they could track/find it. To no avail. Two weeks later my insurance company said I can go ahead and cancel SiriusXM Gaurdian Assist. But SiriusXM kept on billing me anyways. Finally I cancelled but not before 6 months of unrequired billing. You really have to watch these guys (Sirius), and they like to bug the F&^*K out of you with their endless phone calls and marketing. Dont buy any Sirius products. Use something else…….
I refuse to pay to listen to a tape loop with the same exact music over and over again. I use my old iPod Classic and usb drive for my own music. I don’t pay for TV either.

Sirius XM radio is a scam. Any corporation out of New York, to me, is a straight-up con and a scam. Every year they offer me three free months, I take it every time, and then they come to me and see if I want to sign up… I say hell no!

Two different emails. Use one per year. 5$ per month. For 12 months. Renew on other email for $5 per month promo for a year. Promos are there all time.

they were great built in units, and sony had an fm modulated portable home to car etc…
the real value is those people who drive long distances road trips and truck drivers .
but now its just a drop of rain in the ocean of music services
what sucks is theres no real way to have a multi car option anymore, for your $10 minimum a month
Sad that we have to be liars to get fair treatment. These businesses that make it impossible to cancel, or they delay your refunds, need to be boycotted.

I’m amazed so many people have issues with this service.
Until COVID (Sacrifices were made) I was steady with them for 12 years, and they gave me no issues when I told them I won’t consider future use if they refused to listen to the customer request to their customer SERVICE, 10 minutes and done.
Never had billing issues, Service issues….not a fan of their customer service, but hardly have to contact them.
I guess it’s to each their own, but the first day I didn’t have XM service after cancelling due to job loss, I turned the radio off and have yet to use it due to all the commercials and repetitive music playlists.
I also don’t do the whole phone music thing, I live in the mountains, it just cuts in and out the whole time due to service coverage issues.
For the most part I agree. But not EVERYTHING that requires u to call to cancel is a scam. Really the only example I can think of is AAA. Yeah they r expensive, but I’m paying for the peace of mind, and the various other perks that don’t come with a roadside assistance feature on your auto insurance plan for $6 for 6 months usually.
I bought the lifetime, amd with the exception of the hiccups they had with transfers, it has been good and I love the free streaming the lifetime comes with. Sound quality kinda sucks, but oh well.

Once it’s over,after a Year or so,They stick it to the customer w/double if NOT triple the anual subscription fee!
Last year I did it on the phone and only authorized the charges for 12 months. They tried to get me to agree without saying my caveat, but I wove it into my statement everytime.
I asked for their names and employee numbers at the start and when they started complicating things I reminded them the call was being recorded and I did not like the transaction experience and they weren’t doing there best to get me what I wanted.
It’s an ugly experience. This month I called up and canceled it before the end of the 12 months and asked to credit me for the balance.
I’m taking a break- Sirius-ly….
I have thousands of cds and concerts on mp3 which I would rather be listening to over the same few hundred songs Sirius always seems to repeat.
There’s no SiriusXM in Guam, Saipan and American Samoa. Only to be transmit SiriusXM satellites in Canada, Overseas France territory of St. Pierre et Miquelon, USA, UK overseas territory of Bermuda, Mexico, parts of Caribbean and Latin America.
After watching your video, I called immediately and SiriusXM gave me a new huge promotional discount annually from $189 to $76. I said, I wanted to cancel my package sub and it was too expensive. I only listen to 5 channels, which is the truth. They gave me a great deal. Thanks for this video.
I don’t have Sxm anymore but they keep trying to charge my credit card I locked it but I cannot fig out how to close my account online or remove my credit card from the account I tried getting a new card but they had my new credit card number before I had my card any advice on that my credit card is locked lol I won’t unlock it they try to charge it all the time I don’t have them anymore so frustrating

Totally agree, $5 per month for ever no problem. Even up to $8. Once up to $10 it’s too close to Apple Music and other streaming services.

First of all.. All the offers for any product or service price keep changing from time to time… It’s called an offer, a promotional rate not the original price. Second you are complaining about a service that provides you with all of that and you want it for free… Third, who ever you are talking to you is just a retention Agent, that’s her or his job and no way a call is taking a 45 minutes unless you are really consisting to take something that they can’t really give you… Plus all the offers you talking about can be changed Online. No body is forcing you to do anything, if you wanna CANCEL you gonna CANCEL. The dance you are talking about is someone’s job, someone’s struggle that you don’t really know anything about. All of this to get some views, what a nice click bait. And by the way i really think that you don’t have anything to talk about and keep complaining about a service that provides you with hundrends of chanels and you want it for free, for ever. You can always do a stop payment with your bank. Also physically mail them and or record your phone calls requesting to cancel. If they try to send it to a collection agency. I think that free streaming services like Spotify have become a thorn in the side to SXM and now SXM is desperate. They spend billions on satellites to get outdone by free services streaming in case audio systems over phone data services.
My commercial free radio has commercials. I would have paid forever, but I don’t appreciate being lied to.

Stop your complaining, You’re just old. So many subscription-based companies have done this strategy for for decades. It’s nothing new. Yes, it’s incredibly annoying but its shouldn’t be a surprise to you. You should have just cancelled the first time instead of giving into upsell pressure over the phone.
