    I got a Q80A, love it.

  2. David H on August 17, 2021 at 10:19 pm

Much as I would love bigger (ie 75") and better, my four year old Samsung QLED 65" 4K will have to suffice for now. It has 3D. I use it once in a blue moon, BUT, with the release of 4K 3D video from Mars in the past few days, NO price can entice me into trading up. Until you can stand on Mars, in full 3D 4K glory, you haven’t lived, and no big game on Earth even comes close!

  3. Albertrossy on August 17, 2021 at 10:23 pm

    I has the q80t 55 inch

  4. Oluwaseyi Akinruntan on August 17, 2021 at 10:23 pm

My buying guide for TV is, the bigger the better and, the higher the resolution, the better. 8k for sure. Minimum of 88 inches. Simple.

  5. Nathan Schlenker on August 17, 2021 at 10:25 pm

That Sony X900H TV has SKYROCKETED in price.

  6. Alton Grimes on August 17, 2021 at 10:26 pm

I am about to purchase a T V but have been overwhelmed with so many choices. But thanks to your clear knowledgeable commentary here, I believe I will purchase the 75 " TCL 6 series R635….. so many choices out there !

  7. Tony W on August 17, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Video about HDR but not in HDR…sad! Spending lots of money does not mean better. The content is more important. This video proves that. My advise…buy from Ama$$on and send it back if you not happy!!!

  8. mm4forever on August 17, 2021 at 10:26 pm

I don’t care about price. What’s the best 85 inch tv to watch sports in a room where lots of light comes into The room? Ty

  9. Shadow Heart on August 17, 2021 at 10:26 pm

I want the X95j, although I am wondering if the slightly cheaper X90j will be a better choice. I am waiting for the X95j reviews to come out in a month or two. Then I’ll buy one on Black Friday.

  10. Olav Alexander Mjelde on August 17, 2021 at 10:27 pm

I will do the 77" CX, have the C9 in 65 and C9 in 55" already.
Have also before had B6 in 65 and EC930V, so Ive had some OLEds, I did try to go to a Sony 4k HDR 4K 65" between EC930V and B6, but I once you go OLED you cant go back.

Reason I wont buy the C1 77" is that its barely better than the 77" CX (only AI chip is better), but price is like 1500$ more now 😛
And the GX is much better, but it costs way more.

my 2020 q80t samsung is not as bright as my 2016 samsung 8500 was , so be carful about what you "upgrade" to , cause the latest and greatest isn’t always an upgrade , the only reason i got a new tv is because the old one started to develop a pink/purple border ., the picture on the new one is not as good in my opinion ,but it is impossible to really know that until you get it home in a familiar environment i’ve only had it a week but most likely will be returning for a cheaper more similar to my older model …

  17. androidchannel309 on August 17, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Asking for an elderly relative: is there a way to program a button on the remote of any 2021 55" high-end TV (LG, Sony, Samsumg, etc.) to automatically show "the next episode of The Price is Right from the Paramount+ app"? Essentially, my elderly relative is from the days when they could just press Power and the TV would already be set to the local ‘CBS Channel 9’ and they would watch their show. Now, with cord-cutting and myriad OTT app choices, you have to click like 11 times in order to get to the same content (although granted, you can watch whenever you want, you are not tied to the 11 am live broadcast, and you also get access to a deep library of archived shows.)

  18. Marcus BAVARO on August 17, 2021 at 10:36 pm

Is google tv coming to the X950H Sony? It is a big deal as I am not a fan of Android TV.
    🙁

  19. Dean Pillay on August 17, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Hi really appreciate how you broke down the TV series , why did LG make this list

  20. HindSight20/20 on August 17, 2021 at 10:39 pm

Can u review any real affordable TV’s like from Walmart?

  21. Central Coast Corolla Project on August 17, 2021 at 10:40 pm

@digitaltrends – it would be nice if you also reviewed the tuner, as many sports fans, such as myself, prefer broadcast quality picture.
To often, when watching cable or satellite, let alone transmitted via the internet, compression is way up. This, as you know, results in a lower quality picture. Not all tuners are built the same and seem to be an afterthought!

  22. JRobert111111 on August 17, 2021 at 10:41 pm

I’m leaning towards the Sony X750H 75". It’s affordable right now, the colors are great, it’s not edge-lit (no thanks) but most importantly, there is NO PWM (pulse width modulation) aka "flickering" of which I am extremely sensitive to headaches and eye fatigue. I haven’t been able to audition the TCL which has a higher flicker rate of 960Hz, versus most others are in the 180Hz to 360Hz range which means lots of pain, but the Sony is 0Hz. The TCL is $600 more than the Sony, which I cannot afford right now and I’ve had 65" TVs for so many, many years, that I do not want another. Way down the road I’d love an LG OLED, but I would eventually like to be as close to 90" by that time. Good projectors (JVC) and screens (Stewart Filmscreen Greyhawk) are still a lot more money that I don’t have to get a great picture in a jumbo size. Not worried about games or even 4K HDR, etc. as I just watch OTA shows with my Tivo Bolt OTA, Roku Express and Samsung BD-H5100 blu ray player. I’m rambling, I know. I get very, very stressed with major purchases and changes in life like this, so I’ve been researching the crap out of all avenues of a new TV.

What Specs Really Matter in 4K tv’s?

  24. noomy 663 on August 17, 2021 at 10:43 pm

Such this conventional product seems to depend on any individual tastes to either brand or image quality.

  25. SuperWhisk on August 17, 2021 at 10:49 pm

The Phillips 9000 series TVs look really promising on paper. Will be interesting to see what reviewers think when they launch later in the year.

  26. JTB on August 17, 2021 at 10:50 pm

Hi, question witch one would you recommend ,LG oled77cx or samsung qe82q800t ?
Perfect Black’s sounds good to me, but what do i know ,I never owned a qled or an oled before.

  27. Billy Conforto on August 17, 2021 at 10:50 pm

I got a Hisense H8G for my bedroom and absolutely love it, not a single problem yet, highly recommend

  28. EazyVG on August 17, 2021 at 10:51 pm

Nope, I have decided to wait for ’22 releases of TVs and AV receivers – need to see real progress in tech and bugs that have plagued ’20-21 releases. I am talking about true spec HDMI 2.1, VRR, 120Hz, ALLM, etc; and then maybe even cheaper prices. Till then am sticking with my 2018 models.

  29. Riz Inty on August 17, 2021 at 10:53 pm

Thanks. I was in 2 minds, but since y hv used it n co firmed, I will buy TCLC815. HOPE it is good picture quality

  30. Jeremy Wilson on August 17, 2021 at 10:54 pm

Samsung sucks. I don’t know if it is still an issue. A couple of years ago the tv brightness was so high the temp on then panel melted the glue holding them to the frame. This was on most models.

  31. Dr. D on August 17, 2021 at 10:54 pm

I ordered the Sony X900H 65-inch yesterday, primarily for my newly acquired PS5, and it’s coming on Friday (3/26). 1500 bucks…good way to use that stimulus check! Stimulate the electronics industry. I also scored a 0% APR promo rate on my credit card the same day I ordered the TV. A match made in heaven!

  32. Mark Marzean on August 17, 2021 at 10:55 pm

Right now (June, 2021) 65" LG CX or 75" TLC R635?

  33. peaceroshan on August 17, 2021 at 10:57 pm

This guy recommends all tvs out there some way or other..

  34. KobiiOski on August 17, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Is the tcl 75 c715 worth to buy in May 2021 ?
Price is great but maybe consider to wait to lately black Friday November 2021?
Or offer a different more budget model for the moment
    For not a fancy person
Just to enjoy 4k tv euro 2020 by fhd resolution channel

  35. Freddie Slaughter on August 17, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Are your tv’s you review on youtube, strait out of the box or do you calibrate them first?

  36. EJG on August 17, 2021 at 11:02 pm

    No H9g?

  37. My Gameplay on August 17, 2021 at 11:05 pm

Samsung suck I had mines for 3 years and the backlight went off and died I had a 55 inch not going with samsung anymore …

  38. joe Klinect on August 17, 2021 at 11:05 pm

    Hisense h9g?

  39. Haros of Styx on August 17, 2021 at 11:06 pm

sigh… waste of a review. Who cares about the Superbowl?! the Superbowl is streamed in NTSC format which has nothing to do with 4k!! You need to use films that were actually filmed in 4k for a proper review!! >.>

  40. CaptBeardie on August 17, 2021 at 11:06 pm

How about for gaming and movies? I’m not a sports fan.

  41. Kevin Cordes on August 17, 2021 at 11:07 pm

Are you still happy with the TCL R635. Is that the best at the price point?

  42. ThePwig on August 17, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Is there such a thing as a “dumb” OLED TV that doesn’t have all the apps and speakers? Maybe even without internet connectivity?

  43. Russelle Wannell on August 17, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Where does the Samsung AU8000 fit in this range cheers.

  44. Jay Davis on August 17, 2021 at 11:10 pm

What is a good under $1,000 TV to buy for movie watching?????

We do not do games on tv what so ever so I don’t need a tv built for games if that’s even possible…

  45. Brandon gardner on August 17, 2021 at 11:11 pm

Ok im abudget gamer. I gave the series s and the vizio v series 50in v505. Im trying to decide if I should get this JVC LT ma877 because its will support 1080/120 and this one doesn’t. I know these are craps compared to what you deal with but its would really help me if you could tell me which is better overall

  46. jmchez on August 17, 2021 at 11:12 pm

So, I bought a TCL 635, the 55" model for the living room. I was thinking of getting a bigger one for when I finish the basement home theater rec room.

I bought the TCL in December 2020 and in June 2021, it failed dramatically. One night, it just kept flashing different color screens. No unplugging or resetting to factory default would fix it. TCL agreed that after following their instructions, the TV needed to be repaired. It has taken three weeks and the TV repairman is finally scheduled to visit me. TCL sent me an Email touting that he will show up at "No Charge" to me. Oh, isn’t that great?

That 85" TCL is not likely to be on my future shopping list.

  47. Adam Rosenberg on August 17, 2021 at 11:14 pm

My TCL 6 Series 75” gets delivered on Saturday.. I’m gonna be super upset if the 2021 model has 4K 120hz

  48. Kage1128 on August 17, 2021 at 11:15 pm

Bro I dont give a shit about sports. Who the fuck cares about sports

  49. Betty Scott on August 17, 2021 at 11:15 pm

What about the RCA 4K Roku smart 50”?

  50. Steve Spain on August 17, 2021 at 11:15 pm

My biggest consideration is that I’d use the t.v as a pc monitor as well. Generally I’m thinking the LG CX is the way to go.
