Sorry to ask this question so late, but which one is better? the blue light glasses that bounce the blue light back or the filtered blue light glasses that are amber/yellowish coloured? Because I’ve some blue light glasses that aren’t yellowish/amber and I have a feeling that they’re not working at all 😭😭

Hm is near and far reading glasses?

  28. girohead on November 28, 2021 at 12:20 pm

Cool shirt. Very informative, I bought some low power readers for book reading. My blue light glasses have zero magnification. Initially I thought they helped, but then started trying my readers and found them much better. I don’t get eyestrain, but I do notice easier focusing with my readers. I went to eye exam to confirm, I still have 20/20, but she wanted to provise ‘reading glasses’ mainly because insurance paid, so I waived that to just keep my standard readers. She offered a bigger number than I’m comfortable with, my long distance is superb.

  39. Street S W A T on November 28, 2021 at 12:36 pm

I am getting PRK surgery and I spend a lot of my time in front of computers. I was wondering if blue light filters would help in the healing because the pamphlet says a lot about scarring of the cornea from UV light. Just wondering if they would help or be unnecessary

Do you use computer glasses or blue light glasses? Both? Which helps you the most?

  42. paul walther on November 28, 2021 at 12:41 pm

I’m nearsighted so I wear glasses all the time and I’m totally going to get some computer glasses. It makes so much sense that I wish I had done this earlier. I’m literally staring at a computer all day and then take a short break to drive home so I can stare at my computer screen at home to play games, watch YouTube, Netflix, or study maybe. The whole 20/20/20 rule (every twenty minutes, look at something 20 feet away, for 20 seconds) is well and good but who remembers to do that when they’re hard at work or really focused on a game, book or movie?

  43. MV GAMING on November 28, 2021 at 12:42 pm

Beat way to protect your eyes from blue light
Step 1= go to your phone’s settings
Step 2=click on display and brightness or display
    Step 3=click on eye comfort
Step 4=now you will get a option of Black and white and allow it
    Thank me later

  44. jimmcy on November 28, 2021 at 12:43 pm

Hi @Doctor Eye Health, i just got a par of Zeiss Blue Protect lenses. Question, is the "protection" supossed to be on the outside and on the INSIDE of the lens? Because, if i have somekind of light behind me i see a lot of blue light reflection on the lenses, basicaly everthing behind me, and it´s really annoying.
    Thank you.

I use Blue light glasses is it good I waste many hours on computer

  46. Cat Lady on November 28, 2021 at 12:47 pm

What if you have myopia though? Should computer glasses be less negative or more negative compared to normal prescription for seeing far away? Would this just be in spherical power or cylinder as well if someone has astigmatism? Or are computer glasses only relevant for farsightedness?
