i went with a couple Eero 6 Pros hardwired together. These replaced a couple of Airport Extremes. Very Stable with increased speeds. Love the app. Happy with my purchase.

Orbi doesn’t operate in 2.4 so if you have smart devices forget about it.
first real router i had was the ASUS rt-N66u, then went to an ASUS rt-AC66u, now with the ASUS rt-AC1200GE
because of where the internet comes into our place we run it over Powerline to the router via TP Link TL-PA9020P
we try to keep most of our devices plugged into the Powerline when possible
which one is recommended if I have 40 devices at home

everybody trust me here.. don’t buy a tp link i own one and it’s a terrible router and if you own a ps4 a 5G connection won’t pop up it also lags a lot and none of my family memebers can connect to 5G please don’t buy it

I have a huge issue with NETGEAR Orbi RBK50. It is simply not stable, the internet will get disconnect for short seconds and comes back up (with latest firmware updated). And of course the support won’t help at all. Just don’t buy this if you want a stable internet solution.

TP-Link app doesn’t have as many useful features as the ASUS mobile app. How is the ASUS gaming router with 3 antenna better than the router with 8 antenna?… just saying.
Using TP link deco AC1200. Even though it’s a WiFi mesh system the other nodes drop off significantly. Wouldn’t recommend.
