– Some jank on Samsung, but largely fluid
– Samsung edges out with better software experience
– DeX mode is something that iPad needs
– Apps might be ill-optimized for either platform
– Samsung doesn’t have 5G, but you can tether
– iPad has higher-quality keyboard accessory
– Face ID vs fingerprint, i prefer fingerprint
– Great speakers on both
– USB-C on both
– Cameras are a wash (capable for tablet’y webcam needs)
– I’m replacing my new iPad Pro with the S7+ (software!)

I’m so intrigued by the Samsung tablet but since I use the tablet for digital art and I use the procreate app for all my artwork , I still think I should save up for the iPad pro. Really wish apple would give the apple pencil with the Ipad.
The S7+ is a nice tablet and it satisfies my use case perfectly. I’m looking forward to the next generation and hoping they add more RAM.

Chris Face ID works better try using finger print if you take meds that dry out the skin Face ID wins every time finger id is a joke its bad I used it on iPads and iPhones for years its bad iPad Face ID and iPhones works with dry skin you forgot to talk about dry skin users
I have both and each has pros and cons and difficult decision for a neutral person too make. However, many are in their own ecosystem so will probably decide on that specific rather than specs. Samsung delaying the Tab S8 to avoid their SD888 being devalued against the M1 so the Tab S7 is really nearly two-year-old tech, so on that alone the M1 iPad will be the best choice for long term. For me, work on iPad and leisure on Tab S7+. I have a PC so no interest in DeX especially as I need X86 apps not blown up phone apps. By the way DeX is a UI, nothing much more, that mimics windowed OS’es; I want my tablet to run like a tablet otherwise I would get a convertible!
I’ve had a few iPads in the past but never really found them very useful compared to using a laptop where I can get a portable desktop experience. As you were saying it’s just like a big iPhone for better or worse.

Great comparison! ☺️ As someone that hasn’t used an Android tablet in a while I was curious about it. That being said, I’m still on a 2017 iPad Pro and have no plans to upgrade (maybe when they bring miniLED to the 11" one I’ll consider it). Had I bought any Android tablet 4 years ago it would be obsolete by now software-wise, and that’s one of the main reasons I stick with Apple. On phones I switch more often, mainly for the camera upgrades (I’m looking forward to make the jump from S21 Ultra to Pixel 6 Pro), but tablets… 🤷🏻♂️

Just got the Tab S7+ 5G, so far I am loving it. You mentioned in your video about an app from the galaxy store? What was the app and what are the benefits of it?
Well, you really sound like an iPad user switching to Android hahaha. I still wonder why you want the extra RAM for though? I have the 6GB version S7+ and I never encountered any stutter or slowdown and I’m quite the power user. Same thing for 5G, what do you need that for? I’m getting 300Mbps on 4G, which is fast enough for me, plus 5G drains a lot more battery than 4G.
