Hi so i just got a 12 inch ported sub with a 1100 watt amp running like 850 RMS and the sound really hurts my ears like it’s popping or something. I’m really afraid im going to mess up my hearing(im being deadass) do i just have to get used to the sound and break the amp in or is there something wrong? Is your hearing okay?

This video is garbage, wrong specs, wrong pictures and TERRIBLE information. There are much better subwoofers than the first 4 listed. The PB16 Ultra is an amazing sub and belongs on the list, the rest simply do not. Unless you are going to categorize them, like best budget sub, best wireless sub etc etc, then most of the subs don’t belong on anyone’s best list except the PB16. The Klipsch Sub12 has been discontinued a long time ago. Anybody watching this video, just don’t, check AVS forums and other audio forums for information.

Agree with your list, SVS PB16-Ultra is worthy to be on the first spot, It is an all around sub. Good with music, movies, and gaming. Very clear even at high volumes.

SVS PB16-Ultra 1500 is the best choice. Top quality product.
I’ve always known I have a great unit on my hands 😉 .
Hmm, the only sub worth looking at is the SVS one, but even then, price to performance you can get more value from DIY.
Although most people looking at this video probably won’t be thinking about DIY.
While the first 4 are probably OK subs for general use, over time you might (Most likely will) want more, and you’re better off saving a bit for a better sub.
A Rythmik LV12F for example. would probably be a better pick than one of these subs, extension to 19hz, and not breaking the bank.
Or if you can, DIY with a Dayton Subwoofer, they are great performing subs and aren’t too difficult to do yourself if you are handy with a drill and some MDF/Plywood.
(Not hating on the video, just personally know the first 4 aren’t really that great)
