I will be doing a separate video for the best ultra short throw projector once I test the Epson LS500 and Samsung Premiere. Here are the some of the best projector 2021.

65 inch 4k HDR TVs are available @ 1000 dollar.

  2. Luis Gonzalez on July 14, 2021 at 3:19 am

Went from a W1070 to a HT3550 – while yes the 4k does provide the better picture quality – the brightness is letting me down on this one… I may have to get a different screen to combat that

  3. Saturn2888 on July 14, 2021 at 3:20 am

What happened to the UST projector video? I’m in the market and have been having trouble figuring out where the LS500 lies compared to the competition. I’m wondering if it’s a good upgrade for my Optoma GT5600, but it’s hard to tell because the written reviews don’t denote comparisons. "Great colors, bad contrast" doesn’t tell me anything when I can’t compare it to what I have today.

  4. Steven .Joseph on July 14, 2021 at 3:20 am

Welp im new in this projector world so i order a Yaber Y31 thats a good start? o ill look for smth else? I got it new for $219.98 in amazon . I want it for playing videogames and movies.

  8. NOOBeryTheFrog on July 14, 2021 at 3:26 am

Hey Chris is the Goodee YG620, still the best projector to buy for under $300? Also, what screen would you recommend for a room with 2 windows and 11ft throw distant? Looking for a manual pull down one. I saw your video on projector screens but still new at this. Any advice u can give will be helpful

  9. C Brown on July 14, 2021 at 3:27 am

So Chris how come you never talk about the Optoma Hz39hdr , HD39Dr
Or the HUD30 all by optoma?
Based on my research they over the best combination of contrast and brightness which fits my needs because I want to watch movies in my hot tub outside before it gets dark .
The Hz39 is a Laser . The UHD is 4k . And the Hd39hdr is excellent as to what you would get for less money.
I’m trying to decide what’s best for me especially needed a great picture decently light . And I don’t care about games. Just image quality

    What do you suggest?
Or just go with a completely different brand?

  10. MutenGoto on July 14, 2021 at 3:28 am

    jumping directly into 300$ xD

  11. TheDearRecorded on July 14, 2021 at 3:29 am

What projector would you recommend for a living room/projecting on a white wall but mostly night use and/or with blackout curtains (long throw only) for movies mostly under 1500$ in 2021?

  12. Niraj S on July 14, 2021 at 3:31 am

Epson 3800 v HT 3550 Benq, which one is better in a dedicated room? Thanks

  13. Joey Hemsley on July 14, 2021 at 3:31 am

Awesome video. With so many options this helps. I have been shopping for over a year and can’t pick one, I have a 110" screen in a dark room but would like to be able to watch sports with the lights on . my budget is around 2k. Also 3d would be nice but not a must.

  14. Josh Smith on July 14, 2021 at 3:31 am

long shot you’ll still answer here buuut Epson 2200 or 3700? LOVE THE CONTENT!

Just found your channel. Nice informative vids and Nintendo love.

  17. Kenneth Weiss on July 14, 2021 at 3:34 am

    Thank you 😀
    Really great and informative video.
One thing I’m missing though is information on the noise level of the projectors as I’m looking for one that runs quiet.

  19. Raf Khalil on July 14, 2021 at 3:36 am

Could anyone let me know if the BENQ HT 5550 is a good choice for an extremely dark and closed room

  20. شاهد on July 14, 2021 at 3:37 am

Hi, I want to spend less then $2000 for the projector and automatic screen in open area what do you suggest? Thanks

  21. sochyvonn nora on July 14, 2021 at 3:38 am

10k…i need to search for more than just the word best. May be best for under $100.

  22. Brad Burnside on July 14, 2021 at 3:39 am

What’s a good screen to go with the $6,000 JVC projector?

  23. Thepadedcell on July 14, 2021 at 3:40 am

The BenQ HT5550 is also a pixel shift just as the Epson, it has a 0.47" 1920×1080 panel that moves three times for each image. The Epson has a 1920×1080 panel that moves two times.

  24. king Frozt on July 14, 2021 at 3:40 am

    Wow good looking out👍🏾

  25. Masters of Audio on July 14, 2021 at 3:44 am

I want the jvc nx5 but how much better is it then the benq ht3550?

  26. Raul Gomez on July 14, 2021 at 3:46 am

What do you think about benq x1300i?

  27. jwolff9153 on July 14, 2021 at 3:46 am

I’m assuming you haven’t actually used these projectors. I bought both of these based on your recommendations and figured I’d compare them to see which one I liked better. The picture quality on the goodee is not good at all. Small details are blurred. The apeman is 1080p tv quality though as you stated not as bright. However both projectors at night 120" screen roughly 15 feet away the brightness isn’t even noticed. All in all the Apeman lc650 is hands down (based on actual side by side comparison of both projectors in my position now) the better projector. The goodee yg620 has better speakers, is a little bit brighter, has a nice case, BUT I feel like I’m watching it with my glasses off compared to the Apeman which feels like any other 1080p tv experience (quality wise)

  28. Cesar G on July 14, 2021 at 3:51 am

Been looking at the 3800 to replace my epson 2045 with. Even though this 2045 has zero issues and a great picture. Will you email my wife and tell her how important it is to upgrade? JK

  29. UltraInstinct on July 14, 2021 at 3:51 am

Have you done a review on the Optoma GT1090? Seems like the specs are really good on paper.

  30. Munchy 22 on July 14, 2021 at 3:51 am

still love3ing my uhd51 with my harmony hub so all voice op and shield. Will be a few more years befopre i feel need for different projector. played ps4 titles all uncharted, first light, last of us and zerodawn now on pc, dont play fps game son it and for all the games mentioned it was great.

  31. just dev on July 14, 2021 at 3:52 am

Nothing is as good as Epson’s 3 chip LCD. To actually have all colors just as bright as the greyscale ones, that’s the most realistic thing.

I had a 3 LCD Sony TV (7" projected onto 48") when Sony used to buy the 3LCD license from Epson and it was the best TV I’ve had.

  32. ProudArabz on July 14, 2021 at 3:53 am

I need a good projector for a really bright room. The screen will be between 150-180 inches..my room is 17.5 feet long. Mostly use for movie nights..maybe a little gaming…i want good quality and price isnt an issue but id rather not pay way more for features that dont matter. I like convenience so wireless and the projector adjusting itself etc is a plus. Thank you

  33. Aaron Bernards on July 14, 2021 at 3:55 am

Yo dude – I’m looking for the best projector under $800. 4k would be awesome, but will I really be able to tell the quality difference from 1080? I need something with keystone correction as my projector will be on top of a bookshelf, slightly offset from my projection screen. About 10 feet in distance. I’m thinking viewsonic 4k (even though you say it’s noisy) or an epson 880 because my bro has it.

  34. King_of_The_North on July 14, 2021 at 3:56 am

    Great video, thank you

  35. Edward.L.H on July 14, 2021 at 3:57 am

I really want a home theatre in my bedroom

  36. Michael Merritt on July 14, 2021 at 3:57 am

Thanks for your reviews! Just upgraded from my first projector (the small and dim, but still awesome LG PF50KA) to the Epson 3800 thanks in part to your videos. Was torn on whether to splurge on a 5050 or 6050 but I’m mostly using it in my bedroom (perched on the closet shelf) without real light control and for outdoor movie nights and found the 3800 to be a great (and more affordable!) sweet spot of brightness and portability though I know I gave up a little black level performance. Not having a dedicated bat-cave, I felt it was the right choice and in a few years maybe I’ll have a batcave and check out what’s in the the projector scene then.

  37. Nick Soehren on July 14, 2021 at 4:00 am

Thank you I decided to go with the apeman I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on my first projector since I plan to only bring it out every now and then to watch a movie. But I know I can trust your opinion especially since there are a lot of projectors out there.

  38. Mico on July 14, 2021 at 4:01 am

Is there a category for Best Outdoor Projectors?

  39. Cali Warrior on July 14, 2021 at 4:06 am

Great videos! I was wondering if you have a video for best outdoor projectors?

  40. FlightSimMovie on July 14, 2021 at 4:07 am

PX727-4K vs Benq tk800m which one should I get?

  41. Rush More on July 14, 2021 at 4:08 am

Rainbow effect bugs me too much and can’t afford the mega thousand dollar ones that mitigate it. Guess sticking with the Epson models. The rainbow issues IMO with most DLP units offsets the benefits of DLP. I have owned two and still have one that I no longer use. Wish Epson had competition with 3XLCD.

  42. Charles Willis on July 14, 2021 at 4:08 am

What’s crazy is that 4K isn’t even actually “4K”. So 2k is actually a lot closer to what we call 4K so it doesn’t make that much difference

  43. Brendan Coots on July 14, 2021 at 4:09 am

FYI the Optoma CinemaX P2 also suffers from the split screen brightness bug mentioned here.

  44. For the Crown on July 14, 2021 at 4:09 am

How do these compared to the short throw projectors?

  45. Daddy long legz on July 14, 2021 at 4:09 am

Anyone else Here after seeing the tiktok fake window trend

  46. Chris Majestic on July 14, 2021 at 4:10 am

I need to clarify an error about the Epson projectors. In the video I said they produce a 2k image but it’s actually higher than 2k but less than 4k. This is what Epson calls "4K Enhancement". It’s super sharp but not quite 4k. I know…..confusing. Here’s a quick breakdown to make it make sense:
    1080p = ~2 million pixels
    Epson = ~ 4 million pixels
    4K = ~8 million pixels

  47. Romulo S on July 14, 2021 at 4:10 am

Hi Chris, can you please tell me if any of these projectors are silent? I am looking for a silent projector to throw an image behind a concert pianist (I need the piano to be heard, not the projector fans). Thanks!

  48. Danny George on July 14, 2021 at 4:12 am

You should review the Epson 4010 it’s $200 more than the 3800 but it seems to be worth it with it’s extra features.

  49. Nick Dial on July 14, 2021 at 4:14 am

Have you reviewed the epson 410?

  50. Teresita Raidi on July 14, 2021 at 4:15 am

hi, i’v seen a lot of vids and i can’t choose…PLEASE HELP! between EPSON vs260 XGA or the OPTOMA S334e SVGA…
